Deuteronomio 32:1 "Porgete orecchio, o cieli, ed io parlerò, e ascolti la terra le parole della mia bocca.	Deuteronomy 32:1 Give ear, O heavens, to my voice; let the earth take note of the words of my mouth:
Deuteronomio 32:2 Si spanda il mio insegnamento come la pioggia, stilli la mia parola come la rugiada, come la pioggerella sopra la verdura, e come un acquazzone sopra l’erba,	Deuteronomy 32:2 My teaching is dropping like rain, coming down like dew on the fields; like rain on the young grass and showers on the garden plants:
Deuteronomio 32:3 poiché io proclamerò il nome dell’Eterno. Magnificate il nostro Iddio!	Deuteronomy 32:3 For I will give honour to the name of the Lord: let our God be named great.
Deuteronomio 32:4 Quanto alla Ròcca, l’opera sua è perfetta, poiché tutte le sue vie sono giustizia. E’ un Dio fedele e senza iniquità; egli è giusto e retto.	Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, complete is his work; for all his ways are righteousness: a God without evil who keeps faith, true and upright is he.
Deuteronomio 32:5 Ma essi si sono condotti male verso di lui; non sono suoi figliuoli, l’infamia è di loro, razza storta e perversa.	Deuteronomy 32:5 They have become false, they are not his children, the mark of sin is on them; they are an evil and hard-hearted generation.
Deuteronomio 32:6 E’ questa la ricompensa che date all’Eterno, o popolo insensato e privo di saviezza? Non è egli il padre tuo che t’ha creato? non è egli colui che t’ha fatto e ti ha stabilito?	Deuteronomy 32:6 Is this your answer to the Lord, O foolish people and unwise? Is he not your father who has given you life? He has made you and given you your place.
Deuteronomio 32:7 Ricordati de’ giorni antichi, considera gli anni delle età passate, interroga tuo padre, ed egli te lo farà conoscere, i tuoi vecchi, ed essi te lo diranno.	Deuteronomy 32:7 Keep in mind the days of the past, give thought to the years of generations gone by: go to your father and he will make it clear to you, to the old men and they will give you the story.
Deuteronomio 32:8 Quando l’Altissimo diede alle nazioni la loro eredità, quando separò i figliuoli degli uomini, egli fissò i confini dei popoli, tenendo conto del numero de’ figliuoli d’Israele.	Deuteronomy 32:8 When the Most High gave the nations their heritage, separating into groups the children of men, he had the limits of the peoples marked out, keeping in mind the number of the children of Israel.
Deuteronomio 32:9 Poiché la parte dell’Eterno e il suo popolo, Giacobbe è la porzione della sua eredità.	Deuteronomy 32:9 For the Lord's wealth is his people; Jacob is the land of his heritage.
Deuteronomio 32:10 Egli lo trovò in una terra deserta, in una solitudine piena d’urli e di desolazione. Egli lo circondò, ne prese cura, lo custodi come la pupilla dell’occhio suo.	Deuteronomy 32:10 He came to him in the waste land, in the unpeopled waste of sand: putting his arms round him and caring for him, he kept him as the light of his eye.
Deuteronomio 32:11 Pari all’aquila che desta la sua nidiata, si libra a volo sopra i suoi piccini spiega le sue ali, li prende e li porta sulle penne,	Deuteronomy 32:11 As an eagle, teaching her young to make their flight, with her wings outstretched over them, takes them up on her strong feathers:
Deuteronomio 32:12 l’Eterno solo l’ha condotto, e nessun dio straniero era con lui.	Deuteronomy 32:12 So the Lord only was his guide, no other god was with him.
Deuteronomio 32:13 Egli l’ha fatto passare a cavallo sulle alture della terra, e Israele ha mangiato il prodotto de’ campi; gli ha fatto succhiare il miele ch’esce dalla rupe, l’olio ch’esce dalle rocce più dure,	Deuteronomy 32:13 He put him on the high places of the earth, his food was the increase of the field; honey he gave him out of the rock and oil out of the hard rock;
Deuteronomio 32:14 la crema delle vacche e il latte delle pecore. Gli ha dato il grasso degli agnelli, de’ montoni di Basan e de’ capri, col fior di farina del frumento; e tu hai bevuto il vino generoso, il sangue dell’uva.	Deuteronomy 32:14 Butter from his cows and milk from his sheep, with fat of lambs and sheep of Bashan, and goats, and the heart of the grain; and for your drink, wine from the blood of the grape.
Deuteronomio 32:15 Ma Ieshurun s’è fatto grasso ed ha ricalcitrato, ti sei fatto grasso, grosso e pingue! ha abbandonato l’Iddio che l’ha fatto, e ha sprezzato la Ròcca della sua salvezza.	Deuteronomy 32:15 But Jeshurun became fat and would not be controlled: you have become fat, you are thick and full of food: then he was untrue to the God who made him, giving no honour to the Rock of his salvation.
Deuteronomio 32:16 Essi l’han mosso a gelosia con divinità straniere, l’hanno irritato con abominazioni.	Deuteronomy 32:16 The honour which was his they gave to strange gods; by their disgusting ways he was moved to wrath.
Deuteronomio 32:17 Han sacrificato a demoni che non son Dio, a dèi che non avean conosciuti, dèi nuovi, apparsi di recente, dinanzi ai quali i vostri padri non avean tremato.	Deuteronomy 32:17 They made offerings to evil spirits which were not God, to gods who were strange to them, which had newly come up, not feared by your fathers.
Deuteronomio 32:18 Hai abbandonato la Ròcca che ti diè la vita, e hai obliato l’Iddio che ti mise al mondo.	Deuteronomy 32:18 You have no thought for the Rock, your father, you have no memory of the God who gave you birth.
Deuteronomio 32:19 E l’Eterno l’ha veduto, e ha reietto i suoi figliuoli e le sue figliuole che l’aveano irritato;	Deuteronomy 32:19 And the Lord saw with disgust the evil-doing of his sons and daughters.
Deuteronomio 32:20 e ha detto: "Io nasconderò loro la mia faccia, e starò a vedere quale ne sarà la fine; poiché sono una razza quanto mai perversa, figliuoli in cui non è fedeltà di sorta.	Deuteronomy 32:20 And he said, My face will be veiled from them, I will see what their end will be: for they are an uncontrolled generation, children in whom is no faith.
Deuteronomio 32:21 Essi m’han mosso a gelosia con ciò che non è Dio, m’hanno irritato coi loro idoli vani; e io li moverò a gelosia con gente che non è un popolo, li irriterò con una nazione stolta.	Deuteronomy 32:21 They have given my honour to that which is not God, moving me to wrath with their false worship: I will give their honour to those who are not a people, moving them to wrath by a foolish nation,
Deuteronomio 32:22 Poiché un fuoco s’è acceso, nella mia ira, e divamperà fino in fondo al soggiorno de’ morti; divorerà la terra e i suoi prodotti, e infiammerà le fondamenta delle montagne.	Deuteronomy 32:22 For my wrath is a flaming fire, burning to the deep parts of the underworld, burning up the earth with her increase, and firing the deep roots of the mountains.
Deuteronomio 32:23 Io accumulerò su loro dei mali, esaurirò contro a loro tutti i miei strali.	Deuteronomy 32:23 I will send a rain of troubles on them, my arrows will be showered on them.
Deuteronomio 32:24 Essi saran consunti dalla fame, divorati dalla febbre, da mortifera pestilenza; lancerò contro a loro le zanne delle fiere, col veleno delle bestie che striscian nella polvere.	Deuteronomy 32:24 They will be wasted from need of food, and overcome by burning heat and bitter destruction; and the teeth of beasts I will send on them, with the poison of the worms of the dust.
Deuteronomio 32:25 Di fuori la spada, e di dentro il terrore spargeranno il lutto, mietendo giovani e fanciulle, lattanti e uomini canuti.	Deuteronomy 32:25 Outside they will be cut off by the sword, and in the inner rooms by fear; death will take the young man and the virgin, the baby at the breast and the grey-haired man.
Deuteronomio 32:26 Io direi: Li spazzerò via d’un soffio, farò sparire la loro memoria di fra gli uomini,	Deuteronomy 32:26 I said I would send them wandering far away, I would make all memory of them go from the minds of men:
Deuteronomio 32:27 se non temessi gl’insulti del nemico, e che i loro avversari, prendendo abbaglio, fosser tratti a dire: "E’ stata la nostra potente mano e non l’Eterno, che ha fatto tutto questo!"	Deuteronomy 32:27 But for the fear that their haters, uplifted in their pride, might say, Our hand is strong, the Lord has not done all this.
Deuteronomio 32:28 Poiché è una nazione che ha perduto il senno, e non v’è in essi alcuna intelligenza.	Deuteronomy 32:28 For they are a nation without wisdom; there is no sense in them.
Deuteronomio 32:29 Se fosser savi, lo capirebbero, considererebbero la fine che li aspetta.	Deuteronomy 32:29 If only they were wise, if only this was clear to them, and they would give thought to their future!
Deuteronomio 32:30 Come potrebbe un solo inseguirne mille, e due metterne in fuga diecimila, se la Ròcca loro non li avesse venduti, se l’Eterno non li avesse dati in man del nemico?	Deuteronomy 32:30 How would it be possible for one to overcome a thousand, and two to send ten thousand in flight, if their rock had not let them go, if the Lord had not given them up?
Deuteronomio 32:31 Poiché la ròcca loro non è come la nostra Ròcca; i nostri stessi nemici ne son giudici;	Deuteronomy 32:31 For their rock is not like our Rock, even our haters themselves being judges.
Deuteronomio 32:32 ma la loro vigna vien dalla vigna di Sodoma e dalle campagne di Gomorra; le loro uve son uve avvelenate, i loro grappoli, amari;	Deuteronomy 32:32 For their vine is the vine of Sodom, from the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are the grapes of evil, and the berries are bitter:
Deuteronomio 32:33 il loro vino è un tossico di serpenti, un crudel veleno d’aspidi.	Deuteronomy 32:33 Their wine is the poison of dragons, the cruel poison of snakes.
Deuteronomio 32:34 "Tutto questo non è egli tenuto in serbo presso di me, sigillato ne’ miei tesori?	Deuteronomy 32:34 Is not this among my secrets, kept safe in my store-house?
Deuteronomio 32:35 A me la vendetta e la retribuzione, quando il loro piede vacillerà!" Poiché il giorno della loro calamità è vicino, e ciò che per loro è preparato, s’affretta a venire.	Deuteronomy 32:35 Punishment is mine and reward, at the time of the slipping of their feet: for the day of their downfall is near, sudden will be their fate.
Deuteronomio 32:36 Sì, l’Eterno giudicherà il suo popolo, ma avrà pietà de’ suoi servi quando vedrà che la forza è sparita, e che non riman più tra loro né schiavo né libero.	Deuteronomy 32:36 For the Lord will be judge of his people, he will have pity for his servants; when he sees that their power is gone, there is no one, shut up or free.
Deuteronomio 32:37 Allora egli dirà: "Ove sono i loro dèi, la ròcca nella quale confidavano,	Deuteronomy 32:37 And he will say, Where are their gods, the rock in which they put their faith?
Deuteronomio 32:38 gli dèi che mangiavano il grasso de’ loro sacrifizi e beveano il vino delle loro libazioni? Si levino essi a soccorrervi, a coprirvi della loro protezione!	Deuteronomy 32:38 Who took the fat of their offerings, and the wine of their drink offering? Let them now come to your help, let them be your salvation.
Deuteronomio 32:39 Ora vedete che io solo son Dio, e che non v’è altro dio accanto a me. Io fo morire e fo vivere, ferisco e risano, e non v’è chi possa liberare dalla mia mano.	Deuteronomy 32:39 See now, I myself am he; there is no other god but me: giver of death and life, wounding and making well: and no one has power to make you free from my hand.
Deuteronomio 32:40 Sì, io alzo la mia mano al cielo, e dico: Com’è vero ch’io vivo in perpetuo,	Deuteronomy 32:40 For lifting up my hand to heaven I say, By my unending life,
Deuteronomio 32:41 quando aguzzerò la mia folgorante spada e metterò mano a giudicare, farò vendetta de’ miei nemici e darò ciò che si meritano a quelli che m’odiano.	Deuteronomy 32:41 If I make sharp my shining sword, and my hand is outstretched for judging, I will give punishment to those who are against me, and their right reward to my haters.
Deuteronomio 32:42 Inebrierò di sangue le mie frecce, del sangue degli uccisi e dei prigionieri, la mia spada divorerà la carne, le teste dei condottieri nemici".	Deuteronomy 32:42 I will make my arrows red with blood, my sword will be feasting on flesh, with the blood of the dead and the prisoners, of the long-haired heads of my haters.
Deuteronomio 32:43 Nazioni, cantate le lodi del suo popolo! poiché l’Eterno vendica il sangue de’ suoi servi, fa ricadere la sua vendetta sopra i suoi avversari, ma si mostra propizio alla sua terra, al suo popolo".	Deuteronomy 32:43 Be glad, O you his people, over the nations; for he will take payment for the blood of his servants, and will give punishment to his haters, and take away the sin of his land, for his people.
Deuteronomio 32:44 E Mosè venne con Giosuè, figliuolo di Nun, e pronunziò in presenza del popolo tutte le parole di questo cantico.	Deuteronomy 32:44 So Moses said all the words of this song in the hearing of the people, he and Hoshea, the son of Nun.
Deuteronomio 32:45 E quando Mosè ebbe finito di pronunziare tutte queste parole dinanzi a tutto Israele, disse loro:	Deuteronomy 32:45 And after saying all this to the people,
Deuteronomio 32:46 "Prendete a cuore tutte le parole con le quali testimonio oggi contro a voi. Le prescriverete ai vostri figliuoli, onde abbian cura di mettere in pratica tutte le parole di questa legge.	Deuteronomy 32:46 Moses said to them, Let the words which I have said to you today go deep into your hearts, and give orders to your children to do every word of this law.
Deuteronomio 32:47 Poiché questa non e una parola senza valore per voi: anzi, e la vostra vita; e per questa parola prolungherete i vostri giorni nel paese del quale andate a prender possesso, passando il Giordano".	Deuteronomy 32:47 And this is no small thing for you, but it is your life, and through this you may make your days long in the land which you are going over Jordan to take for your heritage.
Deuteronomio 32:48 E, in quello stesso giorno, l’Eterno parlò a Mosè, dicendo:	Deuteronomy 32:48 That same day the Lord said to Moses,
Deuteronomio 32:49 "Sali su questo monte di Abarim, sul monte Nebo, ch’è nel paese di Moab, di faccia a Gerico, e mira il paese di Canaan, ch’io do a possedere ai figliuoli d’Israele.	Deuteronomy 32:49 Go up into this mountain of Abarim, to Mount Nebo in the land of Moab opposite Jericho; there you may see the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel for their heritage:
Deuteronomio 32:50 Tu morrai sul monte sul quale stai per salire, e sarai riunito al tuo popolo, come Aaronne tuo fratello è morto sul monte di Hor ed è stato riunito al suo popolo,	Deuteronomy 32:50 And let death come to you on the mountain where you are going, and be put to rest with your people; as death came to Aaron, your brother, on Mount Hor, where he was put to rest with his people:
Deuteronomio 32:51 perché commetteste un’infedeltà contro di me in mezzo ai figliuoli d’Israele, alle acque di Meriba a Kades, nel deserto di Tsin, e perché non mi santificaste in mezzo ai figliuoli d’Israele.	Deuteronomy 32:51 Because of your sin against me before the children of Israel at the waters of Meribath Kadesh in the waste land of Zin; because you did not keep my name holy among the children of Israel.
Deuteronomio 32:52 Tu vedrai il paese davanti a te, ma là, nel paese che io do ai figliuoli d’Israele, non entrerai".	Deuteronomy 32:52 So you will see the land before you, but you will not go into the land which I am giving to the children of Israel.
