Deuteronomio 3:1 Poi ci voltammo, e salimmo per la via di Basan; e Og, re di Basan, con tutta la sua gente, ci uscì contro per darci battaglia a Edrei.	Deuteronomy 3:1 Then turning we took the road to Bashan: and Og, king of Bashan, came out against us with all his people, and made an attack on us at Edrei.
Deuteronomio 3:2 E l’Eterno mi disse: "Non lo temere, poiché io ti do nelle mani lui, tutta la sua gente e il suo paese; e tu farai a lui quel che facesti a Sihon, re degli Amorei, che abitava a Heshbon".	Deuteronomy 3:2 And the Lord said to me, Have no fear of him: for I have given him and all his people and his land into your hands; do to him as you did to Sihon, king of the Amorites, who was ruling in Heshbon.
Deuteronomio 3:3 Così l’Eterno, il nostro Dio, diede in poter nostro anche Og, re di Basan, con tutta la sua gente; e noi lo battemmo in guisa che non gli restò anima viva.	Deuteronomy 3:3 So the Lord our God gave up Og, king of Bashan, and all his people into our hands; and we overcame him so completely that all his people came to their end in the fight.
Deuteronomio 3:4 Gli prendemmo in quel tempo tutte le sue città; non ci fu città che noi non prendessimo loro: sessanta città, tutta la contrada d’Argob, il regno di Og in Basan.	Deuteronomy 3:4 At that time we took all his towns; there was not one town of the sixty towns, all the country of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which we did not take.
Deuteronomio 3:5 Tutte queste città erano fortificate, con alte mura, porte e sbarre, senza contare le città aperte, ch’erano in grandissimo numero.	Deuteronomy 3:5 All these towns had high walls round them with doors and locks; and in addition we took a great number of unwalled towns.
Deuteronomio 3:6 Noi le votammo allo sterminio, come avevamo fatto di Sihon, re di Heshbon: votammo allo sterminio ogni città, uomini, donne, bambini.	Deuteronomy 3:6 And we put them to the curse, every town together with men, women, and children.
Deuteronomio 3:7 Ma riserbammo come nostra preda tutto il bestiame e le spoglie delle città.	Deuteronomy 3:7 But we took for ourselves all the cattle and the stored wealth of the towns.
Deuteronomio 3:8 In quel tempo dunque prendemmo ai due re degli Amorei il paese ch’è al di là del Giordano, dalla valle dell’Arnon al monte Hermon	Deuteronomy 3:8 At that time we took their land from the two kings of the Amorites on the far side of Jordan, from the valley of the Arnon to Mount Hermon;
Deuteronomio 3:9 (il quale Hermon i Sidonii chiamano Sirion, e gli Amorei Senir),	Deuteronomy 3:9 (By the Sidonians, Hermon is named Sirion, and by the Amorites Shenir;)
Deuteronomio 3:10 tutte le città della pianura, tutto Galaad, tutto Basan fino a Salca e a Edrei, città del regno di Og, in Basan.	Deuteronomy 3:10 All the towns of the table-land and all Gilead and Bashan as far as Salecah and Edrei, towns of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
Deuteronomio 3:11 (Poiché Og, re di Basan, era rimasto solo della stirpe dei Refaim. Ecco, il suo letto, un letto di ferro, non è esso a Rabbah degli Ammoniti? Ha nove cubiti di lunghezza e quattro cubiti di larghezza, a misura di cubito ordinario d’uomo).	Deuteronomy 3:11 (For Og, king of Bashan, was the last of all the Rephaim; his bed was made of iron; is it not in Rabbah, in the land of the children of Ammon? It was nine cubits long and four cubits wide, measured by the common cubit.)
Deuteronomio 3:12 Fu allora che c’impossessammo di questo paese; io detti ai Rubeniti e ai Gaditi il territorio che si parte da Aroer, presso la valle dell’Arnon, e la metà della contrada montuosa di Galaad con le sue città;	Deuteronomy 3:12 And this land which we took at that time, from Aroer by the valley of the Arnon, and half the hill-country of Gilead with its towns, I gave to the Reubenites and the Gadites.
Deuteronomio 3:13 e detti alla mezza tribù di Manasse il resto di Galaad e tutto il regno di Og in Basan: tutta la regione di Argob con tutto Basan, che si chiamava il paese dei Refaim.	Deuteronomy 3:13 The rest of Gilead and all Bashan, the kingdom of Og, all the land of Argob, together with Bashan, I gave to the half-tribe of Manasseh. (This land is named the land of the Rephaim.
Deuteronomio 3:14 Iair, figliuolo di Manasse, prese tutta la regione di Argob, sino ai confini dei Gheshuriti, e dei Mahacathiti; e chiamò col suo nome le borgate di Basan, che si nominano anche oggi Havvoth-Iair.	Deuteronomy 3:14 Jair, the son of Manasseh, took all the land of Argob, as far as the country of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, naming it, Bashan, Havvoth-Jair after himself, as it is to this day.)
Deuteronomio 3:15 E detti Galaad a Makir.	Deuteronomy 3:15 And Gilead I gave to Machir.
Deuteronomio 3:16 E ai Rubeniti e ai Gaditi detti una parte di Galaad e il paese fino alla valle dell’Arnon, fino al mezzo della valle che serve di confine, e fino al torrente di Iabbok, frontiera dei figliuoli di Ammon,	Deuteronomy 3:16 And the land from Gilead to the valley of the Arnon, with the middle of the valley as a limit, as far as the river Jabbok which is the limit of the country of the children of Ammon, I gave to the Reubenites and the Gadites;
Deuteronomio 3:17 e la pianura col Giordano che ne segna il confine, da Kinnereth fino il mare della pianura, il mar Salato, appiè delle pendici del Pisga verso l’Oriente.	Deuteronomy 3:17 As well as the Arabah, with the river Jordan as their limit, from Chinnereth to the Salt Sea, under the slopes of Pisgah to the east.
Deuteronomio 3:18 Or in quel tempo, io vi detti quest’ordine, dicendo: "L’Eterno, il vostro Dio, vi ha dato questo paese perché lo possediate. Voi tutti, uomini di valore, marcerete armati alla testa de’ figliuoli d’Israele, vostri fratelli.	Deuteronomy 3:18 At that time I gave you orders, saying, The Lord has given you this land for your heritage: all the men of war are to go over armed before your brothers the children of Israel.
Deuteronomio 3:19 Ma le vostre mogli, i vostri fanciulli e il vostro bestiame (so che del bestiame ne avete molto) rimarranno nelle città che vi ho date,	Deuteronomy 3:19 But your wives and your little ones and your cattle (for it is clear that you have much cattle) may go on living in the towns I have given you;
Deuteronomio 3:20 finché l’Eterno abbia dato riposo ai vostri fratelli come ha fatto a voi, e prendano anch’essi possesso del paese che l’Eterno Iddio vostro dà loro al di là del Giordano. Poi ciascuno tornerà nel possesso che io v’ho dato".	Deuteronomy 3:20 Till the Lord has given rest to your brothers as to you, and till they have taken for themselves the land which the Lord your God is giving them on the other side of Jordan: then you may go back, every man of you, to the heritage which I have given you.
Deuteronomio 3:21 In quel tempo, detti anche a Giosuè quest’ordine, dicendo: "I tuoi occhi hanno veduto tutto quello che l’Iddio vostro, l’Eterno, ha fatto a questi due re; lo stesso farà l’Eterno a tutti i regni nei quali tu stai per entrare.	Deuteronomy 3:21 And I gave orders to Joshua at that time, saying, Your eyes have seen what the Lord your God has done to these two kings: so will the Lord do to all the kingdoms into which you come.
Deuteronomio 3:22 Non li temete, poiché l’Eterno, il vostro Dio, è quegli che combatte per voi".	Deuteronomy 3:22 Have no fear of them, for the Lord your God will be fighting for you.
Deuteronomio 3:23 In quel medesimo tempo, io supplicai l’Eterno, dicendo:	Deuteronomy 3:23 And at that time I made request to the Lord, saying,
Deuteronomio 3:24 "O Signore, o Eterno, tu hai cominciato a mostrare al tuo servo la tua grandezza e la tua mano potente; poiché qual è l’Iddio, in cielo o sulla terra, che possa fare delle opere e dei portenti pari a quelli che fai tu?	Deuteronomy 3:24 O Lord God, you have now for the first time let your servant see your great power and the strength of your hand; for what god is there in heaven or on earth able to do such great works and such acts of power?
Deuteronomio 3:25 Deh, lascia ch’io passi e vegga il bel paese ch’è oltre il Giordano e la bella contrada montuosa e il Libano!"	Deuteronomy 3:25 Let me go over, O Lord, and see the good land on the other side of Jordan, and that fair mountain country, even Lebanon.
Deuteronomio 3:26 Ma l’Eterno si adirò contro di me, per cagion vostra; e non mi esaudì. E l’Eterno mi disse: "Basta così; non mi parlar più di questa cosa.	Deuteronomy 3:26 But the Lord was angry with me because of you and would not give ear to my prayer; and the Lord said to me, Let it be enough, say no more about this thing.
Deuteronomio 3:27 Sali in vetta al Pisga, volgi lo sguardo a occidente, a settentrione, a mezzogiorno e ad oriente, e contempla il paese con gli occhi tuoi; poiché tu non passerai questo Giordano.	Deuteronomy 3:27 Go up to the top of Pisgah, and turning your eyes to the west and the north, to the south and the east, see the land with your eyes: for you are not to go over Jordan.
Deuteronomio 3:28 Ma da’ i tuoi ordini a Giosuè, fortificalo e incoraggialo, perché sarà lui che lo passerà alla testa di questo popolo, e metterà Israele in possesso del paese che vedrai".	Deuteronomy 3:28 But give my orders to Joshua, comforting him and making him strong; for he is to go over Jordan at the head of this people, and he will give them this land which you will see for their heritage.
Deuteronomio 3:29 Così ci fermammo nella valle dirimpetto a Beth-Peor.	Deuteronomy 3:29 So we were waiting in the valley facing Beth-peor.
