Psalms 50

Psaumes 50:1 ^
Psaume d`Asaph. Dieu, Dieu, l`Éternel, parle, et convoque la terre, Depuis le soleil levant jusqu`au soleil couchant.
Psalms 50:1 ^
A Psalm. Of Asaph. The God of gods, even the Lord, has sent out his voice, and the earth is full of fear; from the coming up of the sun to its going down.
Psaumes 50:2 ^
De Sion, beauté parfaite, Dieu resplendit.
Psalms 50:2 ^
From Zion, most beautiful of places, God has sent out his light.
Psaumes 50:3 ^
Il vient, notre Dieu, il ne reste pas en silence; Devant lui est un feu dévorant, Autour de lui une violente tempête.
Psalms 50:3 ^
Our God will come, and will not keep quiet; with fire burning before him, and storm-winds round him.
Psaumes 50:4 ^
Il crie vers les cieux en haut, Et vers la terre, pour juger son peuple:
Psalms 50:4 ^
His voice will go out to the heavens and to the earth, for the judging of his people:
Psaumes 50:5 ^
Rassemblez-moi mes fidèles, Qui ont fait alliance avec moi par le sacrifice! -
Psalms 50:5 ^
Let my saints come together to me; those who have made an agreement with me by offerings.
Psaumes 50:6 ^
Et les cieux publieront sa justice, Car c`est Dieu qui est juge. -Pause.
Psalms 50:6 ^
And let the heavens make clear his righteousness; for God himself is the judge. (Selah.)
Psaumes 50:7 ^
Écoute, mon peuple! et je parlerai; Israël! et je t`avertirai. Je suis Dieu, ton Dieu.
Psalms 50:7 ^
Give ear, O my people, to my words; O Israel, I will be a witness against you; I am God, even your God.
Psaumes 50:8 ^
Ce n`est pas pour tes sacrifices que je te fais des reproches; Tes holocaustes sont constamment devant moi.
Psalms 50:8 ^
I will not take up a cause against you because of your offerings, or because of your burned offerings, which are ever before me.
Psaumes 50:9 ^
Je ne prendrai pas de taureau dans ta maison, Ni de bouc dans tes bergeries.
Psalms 50:9 ^
I will take no ox out of your house, or he-goats from your flocks;
Psaumes 50:10 ^
Car tous les animaux des forêts sont à moi, Toutes les bêtes des montagnes par milliers;
Psalms 50:10 ^
For every beast of the woodland is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.
Psaumes 50:11 ^
Je connais tous les oiseaux des montagnes, Et tout ce qui se meut dans les champs m`appartient.
Psalms 50:11 ^
I see all the birds of the mountains, and the beasts of the field are mine.
Psaumes 50:12 ^
Si j`avais faim, je ne te le dirais pas, Car le monde est à moi et tout ce qu`il renferme.
Psalms 50:12 ^
If I had need of food, I would not give you word of it; for the earth is mine and all its wealth.
Psaumes 50:13 ^
Est-ce que je mange la chair des taureaux? Est-ce que je bois le sang des boucs?
Psalms 50:13 ^
Am I to take the flesh of the ox for my food, or the blood of goats for my drink?
Psaumes 50:14 ^
Offre pour sacrifice à Dieu des actions de grâces, Et accomplis tes voeux envers le Très Haut.
Psalms 50:14 ^
Make an offering of praise to God; keep the agreements which you have made with the Most High;
Psaumes 50:15 ^
Et invoque-moi au jour de la détresse; Je te délivrerai, et tu me glorifieras.
Psalms 50:15 ^
Let your voice come up to me in the day of trouble; I will be your saviour, so that you may give glory to me.
Psaumes 50:16 ^
Et Dieu dit au méchant: Quoi donc! tu énumères mes lois, Et tu as mon alliance à la bouche,
Psalms 50:16 ^
But to the sinner, God says, What are you doing, talking of my laws, or taking the words of my agreement in your mouth?
Psaumes 50:17 ^
Toi qui hais les avis, Et qui jettes mes paroles derrière toi!
Psalms 50:17 ^
Seeing that you have no desire for my teaching, turning your back on my words.
Psaumes 50:18 ^
Si tu vois un voleur, tu te plais avec lui, Et ta part est avec les adultères.
Psalms 50:18 ^
When you saw a thief, you were in agreement with him, and you were joined with those who took other men's wives.
Psaumes 50:19 ^
Tu livres ta bouche au mal, Et ta langue est un tissu de tromperies.
Psalms 50:19 ^
You have given your mouth to evil, your tongue to words of deceit.
Psaumes 50:20 ^
Tu t`assieds, et tu parles contre ton frère, Tu diffames le fils de ta mère.
Psalms 50:20 ^
You say evil of your brother; you make false statements against your mother's son.
Psaumes 50:21 ^
Voilà ce que tu as fait, et je me suis tu. Tu t`es imaginé que je te ressemblais; Mais je vais te reprendre, et tout mettre sous tes yeux.
Psalms 50:21 ^
These things have you done, and I said nothing; it seemed to you that I was such a one as yourself; but I will make a protest against you, and put them in order before your eyes.
Psaumes 50:22 ^
Prenez-y donc garde, vous qui oubliez Dieu, De peur que je ne déchire, sans que personne délivre.
Psalms 50:22 ^
Now keep this in mind, you who have no memory of God, for fear that you may be crushed under my hand, with no one to give you help:
Psaumes 50:23 ^
Celui qui offre pour sacrifice des actions de grâces me glorifie, Et à celui qui veille sur sa voie Je ferai voir le salut de Dieu.
Psalms 50:23 ^
Whoever makes an offering of praise gives glory to me; and to him who is upright in his ways I will make clear the salvation of God.
