Psaumes 21:1 Au chef des chantres. Psaume de David. Éternel! le roi se réjouit de ta protection puissante. Oh! comme ton secours le remplit d`allégresse!	Psalms 21:1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The king shall joy in thy strength, O Jehovah; And in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!
Psaumes 21:2 Tu lui as donné ce que désirait son coeur, Et tu n`as pas refusé ce que demandaient ses lèvres. -Pause.	Psalms 21:2 Thou hast given him his heart's desire, And hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah
Psaumes 21:3 Car tu l`as prévenu par les bénédictions de ta grâce, Tu as mis sur sa tête une couronne d`or pur.	Psalms 21:3 For thou meetest him with the blessings of goodness: Thou settest a crown of fine gold on his head.
Psaumes 21:4 Il te demandait la vie, tu la lui as donnée, Une vie longue pour toujours et à perpétuité.	Psalms 21:4 He asked life of thee, thou gavest it him, Even length of days for ever and ever.
Psaumes 21:5 Sa gloire est grande à cause de ton secours; Tu places sur lui l`éclat et la magnificence.	Psalms 21:5 His glory is great in thy salvation: Honor and majesty dost thou lay upon him.
Psaumes 21:6 Tu le rends à jamais un objet de bénédictions, Tu le combles de joie devant ta face.	Psalms 21:6 For thou makest him most blessed for ever: Thou makest him glad with joy in thy presence.
Psaumes 21:7 Le roi se confie en l`Éternel; Et, par la bonté du Très Haut, il ne chancelle pas.	Psalms 21:7 For the king trusteth in Jehovah; And through the lovingkindness of the Most High he shall not be moved.
Psaumes 21:8 Ta main trouvera tous tes ennemis, Ta droite trouvera ceux qui te haïssent.	Psalms 21:8 Thy hand will find out all thine enemies; Thy right hand will find out those that hate thee.
Psaumes 21:9 Tu les rendras tels qu`une fournaise ardente, Le jour où tu te montreras; L`Éternel les anéantira dans sa colère, Et le feu les dévorera.	Psalms 21:9 Thou wilt make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thine anger: Jehovah will swallow them up in his wrath, And the fire shall devour them.
Psaumes 21:10 Tu feras disparaître leur postérité de la terre, Et leur race du milieu des fils de l`homme.	Psalms 21:10 Their fruit wilt thou destroy from the earth, And their seed from among the children of men.
Psaumes 21:11 Ils ont projeté du mal contre toi, Ils ont conçu de mauvais desseins, mais ils seront impuissants.	Psalms 21:11 For they intended evil against thee; They conceived a device which they are not able to perform.
Psaumes 21:12 Car tu leur feras tourner le dos, Et avec ton arc tu tireras sur eux.	Psalms 21:12 For thou wilt make them turn their back; Thou wilt make ready with thy bowstrings against their face.
Psaumes 21:13 Lève-toi, Éternel, avec ta force! Nous voulons chanter, célébrer ta puissance.	Psalms 21:13 Be thou exalted, O Jehovah, in thy strength: So will we sing and praise thy power.
