Proverbios 13:1 EL hijo sabio toma el consejo del padre: Mas el burlador no escucha las reprensiones.	Proverbs 13:1 A wise son [heareth] his father's instruction; But a scoffer heareth not rebuke.
Proverbios 13:2 Del fruto de su boca el hombre comerá bien: Mas el alma de los prevaricadores hallará mal.	Proverbs 13:2 A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth; But the soul of the treacherous [shall eat] violence.
Proverbios 13:3 El que guarda su boca guarda su alma: Mas el que mucho abre sus labios tendrá calamidad.	Proverbs 13:3 He that guardeth his mouth keepeth his life; [But] he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
Proverbios 13:4 Desea, y nada alcanza el alma del perezoso: Mas el alma de los diligentes será engordada.	Proverbs 13:4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing; But the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
Proverbios 13:5 El justo aborrece la palabra de mentira: Mas el impío se hace odioso é infame.	Proverbs 13:5 A righteous man hateth lying; But a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.
Proverbios 13:6 La justicia guarda al de perfecto camino: Mas la impiedad trastornará al pecador.	Proverbs 13:6 Righteousness guardeth him that is upright in the way; But wickedness overthroweth the sinner.
Proverbios 13:7 Hay quienes se hacen ricos, y no tienen nada: Y hay quienes se hacen pobres, y tienen muchas riquezas.	Proverbs 13:7 There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: There is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great wealth.
Proverbios 13:8 La redención de la vida del hombre son sus riquezas: Pero el pobre no oye censuras.	Proverbs 13:8 The ransom of a man's life is his riches; But the poor heareth no threatening.
Proverbios 13:9 La luz de los justos se alegrará: Mas apagaráse la lámpara de los impíos.	Proverbs 13:9 The light of the righteous rejoiceth; But the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
Proverbios 13:10 Ciertamente la soberbia parirá contienda: Mas con los avisados es la sabiduría.	Proverbs 13:10 By pride cometh only contention; But with the well-advised is wisdom.
Proverbios 13:11 Disminuiránse las riquezas de vanidad: Empero multiplicará el que allega con su mano.	Proverbs 13:11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished; But he that gathereth by labor shall have increase.
Proverbios 13:12 La esperanza que se prolonga, es tormento del corazón: Mas árbol de vida es el deseo cumplido.	Proverbs 13:12 Hope deferred maketh the heart sick; But when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
Proverbios 13:13 El que menosprecia la palabra, perecerá por ello: Mas el que teme el mandamiento, será recompensado.	Proverbs 13:13 Whoso despiseth the word bringeth destruction on himself; But he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
Proverbios 13:14 la ley del sabio es manantial de vida, Para apartarse de los lazos de la muerte.	Proverbs 13:14 The law of the wise is a fountain of life, That one may depart from the snares of death.
Proverbios 13:15 El buen entendimiento conciliará gracia: Mas el camino de los prevaricadores es duro.	Proverbs 13:15 Good understanding giveth favor; But the way of the transgressor is hard.
Proverbios 13:16 Todo hombre cuerdo obra con sabiduría: Mas el necio manifestará necedad.	Proverbs 13:16 Every prudent man worketh with knowledge; But a fool flaunteth [his] folly.
Proverbios 13:17 El mal mensajero caerá en mal: Mas el mensajero fiel es medicina.	Proverbs 13:17 A wicked messenger falleth into evil; But a faithful ambassador is health.
Proverbios 13:18 Pobreza y vergüenza tendrá el que menosprecia el consejo: Mas el que guarda la corrección, será honrado.	Proverbs 13:18 Poverty and shame [shall be to] him that refuseth correction; But he that regardeth reproof shall be honored.
Proverbios 13:19 El deseo cumplido deleita el alma: Pero apartarse del mal es abominación á los necios.	Proverbs 13:19 The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul; But it is an abomination to fools to depart from evil.
Proverbios 13:20 El que anda con los sabios, sabio será; Mas el que se allega á los necios, será quebrantado.	Proverbs 13:20 Walk with wise men, and thou shalt be wise; But the companion of fools shall smart for it.
Proverbios 13:21 Mal perseguirá á los pecadores: Mas á los justos les será bien retribuído.	Proverbs 13:21 Evil pursueth sinners; But the righteous shall be recompensed with good.
Proverbios 13:22 El bueno dejará herederos á los hijos de los hijos; Y el haber del pecador, para el justo está guardado.	Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children; And the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous.
Proverbios 13:23 En el barbecho de los pobres hay mucho pan: Mas piérdese por falta de juicio.	Proverbs 13:23 Much food [is in] the tillage of the poor; But there is that is destroyed by reason of injustice.
Proverbios 13:24 El que detiene el castigo, á su hijo aborrece: Mas el que lo ama, madruga á castigarlo.	Proverbs 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son; But he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
Proverbios 13:25 El justo come hasta saciar su alma: Mas el vientre de los impíos tendrá necesidad.	Proverbs 13:25 The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul; But the belly of the wicked shall want.
