Proverbios 6

Proverbs 6:1 ^
My son, if you have made yourself responsible for your neighbour, or given your word for another,
Proverbios 6:1 ^
HIJO mío, si salieres fiador por tu amigo, Si tocaste tu mano por el extraño,
Proverbs 6:2 ^
You are taken as in a net by the words of your mouth, the sayings of your lips have overcome you.
Proverbios 6:2 ^
Enlazado eres con las palabras de tu boca, Y preso con las razones de tu boca.
Proverbs 6:3 ^
Do this, my son, and make yourself free, because you have come into the power of your neighbour; go without waiting, and make a strong request to your neighbour.
Proverbios 6:3 ^
Haz esto ahora, hijo mío, y líbrate, Ya que has caído en la mano de tu prójimo: Ve, humíllate, y asegúrate de tu amigo.
Proverbs 6:4 ^
Give no sleep to your eyes, or rest to them;
Proverbios 6:4 ^
No des sueño á tus ojos, Ni á tus párpados adormecimiento.
Proverbs 6:5 ^
Make yourself free, like the roe from the hand of the archer, and the bird from him who puts a net for her.
Proverbios 6:5 ^
Escápate como el corzo de la mano del cazador, Y como el ave de la mano del parancero.
Proverbs 6:6 ^
Go to the ant, you hater of work; give thought to her ways and be wise:
Proverbios 6:6 ^
Ve á la hormiga, oh perezoso Mira sus caminos, y sé sabio;
Proverbs 6:7 ^
Having no chief, overseer, or ruler,
Proverbios 6:7 ^
La cual no teniendo capitán, Ni gobernador, ni señor,
Proverbs 6:8 ^
She gets her meat in the summer, storing up food at the time of the grain-cutting.
Proverbios 6:8 ^
Prepara en el verano su comida Y allega en el tiempo de la siega su mantenimiento.
Proverbs 6:9 ^
How long will you be sleeping, O hater of work? when will you get up from your sleep?
Proverbios 6:9 ^
Perezoso, ¿hasta cuándo has de dormir? ¿Cuándo te levantarás de tu sueño?
Proverbs 6:10 ^
A little sleep, a little rest, a little folding of the hands in sleep:
Proverbios 6:10 ^
Un poco de sueño, un poco de dormitar, Y cruzar por un poco las manos para reposo:
Proverbs 6:11 ^
Then loss will come on you like an outlaw, and your need like an armed man
Proverbios 6:11 ^
Así vendrá tu necesidad como caminante, Y tu pobreza como hombre de escudo.
Proverbs 6:12 ^
A good-for-nothing man is an evil-doer; he goes on his way causing trouble with false words;
Proverbios 6:12 ^
El hombre malo, el hombre depravado, Anda en perversidad de boca;
Proverbs 6:13 ^
Making signs with his eyes, rubbing with his feet, and giving news with his fingers;
Proverbios 6:13 ^
Guiña de sus ojos, habla con sus pies, Indica con sus dedos;
Proverbs 6:14 ^
His mind is ever designing evil: he lets loose violent acts.
Proverbios 6:14 ^
Perversidades hay en su corazón, anda pensando mal en todo tiempo; Enciende rencillas.
Proverbs 6:15 ^
For this cause his downfall will be sudden; quickly he will be broken, and there will be no help for him.
Proverbios 6:15 ^
Por tanto su calamidad vendrá de repente; Súbitamente será quebrantado, y no habrá remedio.
Proverbs 6:16 ^
Six things are hated by the Lord; seven things are disgusting to him:
Proverbios 6:16 ^
Seis cosas aborrece Jehová, Y aun siete abomina su alma:
Proverbs 6:17 ^
Eyes of pride, a false tongue, hands which take life without cause;
Proverbios 6:17 ^
Los ojos altivos, la lengua mentirosa, Las manos derramadoras de sangre inocente,
Proverbs 6:18 ^
A heart full of evil designs, feet which are quick in running after sin;
Proverbios 6:18 ^
El corazón que maquina pensamientos inicuos, Los pies presurosos para correr al mal,
Proverbs 6:19 ^
A false witness, breathing out untrue words, and one who lets loose violent acts among brothers.
Proverbios 6:19 ^
El testigo falso que habla mentiras, Y el que enciende rencillas entre los hermanos.
Proverbs 6:20 ^
My son, keep the rule of your father, and have in memory the teaching of your mother:
Proverbios 6:20 ^
Guarda, hijo mío, el mandamiento de tu padre, Y no dejes la enseñanza de tu madre:
Proverbs 6:21 ^
Keep them ever folded in your heart, and have them hanging round your neck.
Proverbios 6:21 ^
Atalos siempre en tu corazón, Enlázalos á tu cuello.
Proverbs 6:22 ^
In your walking, it will be your guide; when you are sleeping, it will keep watch over you; when you are awake, it will have talk with you.
Proverbios 6:22 ^
Te guiarán cuando anduvieres; cuando durmieres te guardarán; Hablarán contigo cuando despertares.
Proverbs 6:23 ^
For the rule is a light, and the teaching a shining light; and the guiding words of training are the way of life.
Proverbios 6:23 ^
Porque el mandamiento es antorcha, y la enseñanza luz; Y camino de vida las reprensiones de la enseñanza:
Proverbs 6:24 ^
They will keep you from the evil woman, from the smooth tongue of the strange woman.
Proverbios 6:24 ^
Para que te guarden de la mala mujer, De la blandura de la lengua de la extraña.
Proverbs 6:25 ^
Let not your heart's desire go after her fair body; let not her eyes take you prisoner.
Proverbios 6:25 ^
No codicies su hermosura en tu corazón, Ni ella te prenda con sus ojos:
Proverbs 6:26 ^
For a loose woman is looking for a cake of bread, but another man's wife goes after one's very life.
Proverbios 6:26 ^
Porque á causa de la mujer ramera es reducido el hombre á un bocado de pan; Y la mujer caza la preciosa alma del varón.
Proverbs 6:27 ^
May a man take fire to his breast without burning his clothing?
Proverbios 6:27 ^
¿Tomará el hombre fuego en su seno, Sin que sus vestidos se quemen?
Proverbs 6:28 ^
Or may one go on lighted coals, and his feet not be burned?
Proverbios 6:28 ^
¿Andará el hombre sobre las brasas, Sin que sus pies se abrasen?
Proverbs 6:29 ^
So it is with him who goes in to his neighbour's wife; he who has anything to do with her will not go free from punishment.
Proverbios 6:29 ^
Así el que entrare á la mujer de su prójimo; No será sin culpa cualquiera que la tocare.
Proverbs 6:30 ^
Men do not have a low opinion of a thief who takes food when he is in need of it:
Proverbios 6:30 ^
No tienen en poco al ladrón, cuando hurtare Para saciar su alma teniendo hambre:
Proverbs 6:31 ^
But if he is taken in the act he will have to give back seven times as much, giving up all his property which is in his house.
Proverbios 6:31 ^
Empero tomado, paga las setenas, Da toda la sustancia de su casa.
Proverbs 6:32 ^
He who takes another man's wife is without all sense: he who does it is the cause of destruction to his soul.
Proverbios 6:32 ^
Mas el que comete adulterio con la mujer, es falto de entendimiento: Corrompe su alma el que tal hace.
Proverbs 6:33 ^
Wounds will be his and loss of honour, and his shame may not be washed away.
Proverbios 6:33 ^
Plaga y vergüenza hallará; Y su afrenta nunca será raída.
Proverbs 6:34 ^
For bitter is the wrath of an angry husband; in the day of punishment he will have no mercy.
Proverbios 6:34 ^
Porque los celos son el furor del hombre, Y no perdonará en el día de la venganza.
Proverbs 6:35 ^
He will not take any payment; and he will not make peace with you though your money offerings are increased.
Proverbios 6:35 ^
No tendrá respeto á ninguna redención; Ni querrá perdonar, aunque multipliques los dones.
