Proverbs 2:1 My son, if you will take my words to your heart, storing up my laws in your mind;	Proverbi 2:1 Figliuol mio, se ricevi le mie parole e serbi con cura i miei comandamenti,
Proverbs 2:2 So that your ear gives attention to wisdom, and your heart is turned to knowledge;	Proverbi 2:2 prestando orecchio alla sapienza e inclinando il cuore all’intelligenza;
Proverbs 2:3 Truly, if you are crying out for good sense, and your request is for knowledge;	Proverbi 2:3 sì, se chiami il discernimento e rivolgi la tua voce all’intelligenza,
Proverbs 2:4 If you are looking for her as for silver, and searching for her as for stored-up wealth;	Proverbi 2:4 se la cerchi come l’argento e ti dài a scavarla come un tesoro,
Proverbs 2:5 Then the fear of the Lord will be clear to you, and knowledge of God will be yours.	Proverbi 2:5 Allora intenderai il timor dell’Eterno, e troverai la conoscenza di Dio.
Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; out of his mouth come knowledge and reason:	Proverbi 2:6 Poiché l’Eterno dà la sapienza; dalla sua bocca procedono la scienza e l’intelligenza.
Proverbs 2:7 He has salvation stored up for the upright, he is a breastplate to those in whom there is no evil;	Proverbi 2:7 Egli tiene in serbo per gli uomini retti un aiuto potente, uno scudo per quelli che camminano integramente,
Proverbs 2:8 He keeps watch on the ways which are right, and takes care of those who have the fear of him.	Proverbi 2:8 affin di proteggere i sentieri della equità e di custodire la via dei suoi fedeli.
Proverbs 2:9 Then you will have knowledge of righteousness and right acting, and upright behaviour, even of every good way.	Proverbi 2:9 Allora intenderai la giustizia, l’equità, la rettitudine, tutte le vie del bene.
Proverbs 2:10 For wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasing to your soul;	Proverbi 2:10 Perché la sapienza t’entrerà nel cuore, e la scienza sarà gradevole all’anima tua;
Proverbs 2:11 Wise purposes will be watching over you, and knowledge will keep you;	Proverbi 2:11 la riflessione veglierà su te, e l’intelligenza ti proteggerà;
Proverbs 2:12 Giving you salvation from the evil man, from those whose words are false;	Proverbi 2:12 ti scamperà così dalla via malvagia, dalla gente che parla di cose perverse,
Proverbs 2:13 Who give up the way of righteousness, to go by dark roads;	Proverbi 2:13 da quelli che lasciano i sentieri della rettitudine per camminare nella via delle tenebre,
Proverbs 2:14 Who take pleasure in wrongdoing, and have joy in the evil designs of the sinner;	Proverbi 2:14 che godono a fare il male e si compiacciono delle perversità del malvagio,
Proverbs 2:15 Whose ways are not straight, and whose footsteps are turned to evil:	Proverbi 2:15 che seguono sentieri storti e battono vie tortuose.
Proverbs 2:16 To take you out of the power of the strange woman, who says smooth words with her tongue;	Proverbi 2:16 Ti scamperà dalla donna adultera, dalla infedele che usa parole melate,
Proverbs 2:17 Who is false to the husband of her early years, and does not keep the agreement of her God in mind:	Proverbi 2:17 che ha abbandonato il compagno della sua giovinezza e ha dimenticato il patto del suo Dio.
Proverbs 2:18 For her house is on the way down to death; her footsteps go down to the shades:	Proverbi 2:18 Poiché la sua casa pende verso la morte, e i suoi sentieri menano ai defunti.
Proverbs 2:19 Those who go to her do not come back again; their feet do not keep in the ways of life:	Proverbi 2:19 Nessuno di quelli che vanno da lei ne ritorna, nessuno riprende i sentieri della vita.
Proverbs 2:20 So that you may go in the way of good men, and keep in the footsteps of the upright.	Proverbi 2:20 Così camminerai per la via dei buoni, e rimarrai nei sentieri dei giusti.
Proverbs 2:21 For the upright will be living in the land, and the good will have it for their heritage.	Proverbi 2:21 Ché gli uomini retti abiteranno la terra, e quelli che sono integri vi rimarranno;
Proverbs 2:22 But sinners will be cut off from the land, and those whose acts are false will be uprooted.	Proverbi 2:22 ma gli empi saranno sterminati di sulla terra e gli sleali ne saranno divelti.
