Hosea 12:1 Ephraim's food is the wind, and he goes after the east wind: deceit and destruction are increasing day by day; they make an agreement with Assyria, and take oil into Egypt.	Osea 12:1 Efraim si pasce di vento e va dietro al vento d’oriente; ogni giorno moltiplica le menzogna e le violenze; fa alleanza con l’Assiria, e porta dell’olio in Egitto.
Hosea 12:2 The Lord has a cause against Judah, and will give punishment to Jacob for his ways; he will give him the reward of his acts.	Osea 12:2 L’Eterno è anche in lite con Giuda, e punirà Giacobbe per la sua condotta, gli renderà secondo le sue opere.
Hosea 12:3 In the body of his mother he took his brother by the foot, and in his strength he was fighting with God;	Osea 12:3 Nel seno materno egli prese il fratello per il calcagno, e, nel suo vigore, lottò con Dio;
Hosea 12:4 He had a fight with the angel and overcame him; he made request for grace to him with weeping; he came face to face with him in Beth-el and there his words came to him;	Osea 12:4 lottò con l’angelo, e restò vincitore; egli pianse e lo supplicò. A Bethel lo trovò, e quivi egli parlò con noi.
Hosea 12:5 Even the Lord, the God of armies; the Lord is his name.	Osea 12:5 Or l’Eterno è l’Iddio degli eserciti; il suo nome è l’Eterno
Hosea 12:6 So then, come back to your God; keep mercy and right, and be waiting at all times on your God.	Osea 12:6 Tu, dunque, torna al tuo Dio, pratica la misericordia e la giustizia, e spera sempre nel tuo Dio.
Hosea 12:7 As for Canaan, the scales of deceit are in his hands; he takes pleasure in twisted ways.	Osea 12:7 Efraim è un Cananeo che tiene in mano bilance false; egli ama estorcere.
Hosea 12:8 And Ephraim said, Now I have got wealth and much property; in all my works no sin may be seen in me.	Osea 12:8 Efraim dice: "E’ vero, io mi sono arricchito, mi sono acquistato de’ beni; però, in tutti i frutti delle mie fatiche non si troverà alcuna mia iniquità, alcunché di peccaminoso".
Hosea 12:9 But I am the Lord your God from the land of Egypt; I will give you tents for your living-places again as in the days of the holy meeting.	Osea 12:9 Ma io sono l’Eterno, il tuo Dio, fin dal paese d’Egitto: io ti farò ancora abitare in tende, come nei giorni di solennità.
Hosea 12:10 My word came to the ears of the prophets and I gave them visions in great number, and by the mouths of the prophets I made use of comparisons.	Osea 12:10 Ed ho parlato hai profeti, ho moltiplicato le visioni, e per mezzo de’ profeti ha proposto parabole.
Hosea 12:11 In Gilead there is evil. They are quite without value; in Gilgal they make offerings of oxen; truly their altars are like masses of stones in the hollows of a ploughed field.	Osea 12:11 Se Galaad è vanità, sarà ridotto in nulla. A Ghilgal immolano buoi; così i loro altari saran come mucchi di pietre sui solchi dei campi.
Hosea 12:12 And Jacob went in flight into the field of Aram, and Israel became a servant for a wife, and for a wife he kept sheep.	Osea 12:12 Giacobbe fuggì nella pianura d’Aram, e Israele servì per una moglie, e per una moglie si fe’ guardiano di greggi.
Hosea 12:13 And by a prophet the Lord made Israel come up out of Egypt, and by a prophet he was kept safe.	Osea 12:13 Mediante un profeta, l’Eterno trasse Israele fuori d’Egitto; e Israele fu custodito da un profeta.
Hosea 12:14 I have been bitterly moved to wrath by Ephraim; so that his blood will be on him, and the Lord will make his shame come back on him.	Osea 12:14 Efraim ha provocato amaramente il suo Signore; perciò questi gli farà ricadere addosso il sangue che ha versato; e farà tornare su lui i suoi obbrobri.
