Proverbs 19:1 Better is the poor man whose ways are upright, than the man of wealth whose ways are twisted.	Die Spruche 19:1 Ein Armer, der in seiner Frömmigkeit wandelt, ist besser denn ein Verkehrter mit seinen Lippen, der doch ein Narr ist.
Proverbs 19:2 Further, without knowledge desire is not good; and he who is over-quick in acting goes out of the right way.	Die Spruche 19:2 Wo man nicht mit Vernunft handelt, da geht's nicht wohl zu; und wer schnell ist mit Füßen, der tut sich Schaden.
Proverbs 19:3 By his foolish behaviour a man's ways are turned upside down, and his heart is bitter against the Lord.	Die Spruche 19:3 Die Torheit eines Menschen verleitet seinen Weg, und doch tobt sein Herz wider den HERRN.
Proverbs 19:4 Wealth makes a great number of friends; but the poor man is parted from his friend.	Die Spruche 19:4 Gut macht viele Freunde; aber der Arme wird von seinen Freunden verlassen.
Proverbs 19:5 A false witness will not go without punishment, and the breather out of deceit will not go free.	Die Spruche 19:5 Ein falscher Zeuge bleibt nicht ungestraft; und wer Lügen frech redet, wird nicht entrinnen.
Proverbs 19:6 Great numbers will make attempts to get the approval of a ruler: and every man is the special friend of him who has something to give.	Die Spruche 19:6 Viele schmeicheln der Person des Fürsten; und alle sind Freunde des, der Geschenke gibt.
Proverbs 19:7 All the brothers of the poor man are against him: how much more do his friends go far from him! ...	Die Spruche 19:7 Den Armen hassen alle seine Brüder; wie viel mehr halten sich seine Freunde von ihm fern! Und wer sich auf Worte verläßt, dem wird nichts.
Proverbs 19:8 He who gets wisdom has love for his soul: he who keeps good sense will get what is truly good.	Die Spruche 19:8 Wer klug wird, liebt sein Leben; und der Verständige findet Gutes.
Proverbs 19:9 A false witness will not go without punishment, and the breather out of deceit will be cut off.	Die Spruche 19:9 Ein falscher Zeuge bleibt nicht ungestraft; und wer frech Lügen redet, wird umkommen.
Proverbs 19:10 Material comfort is not good for the foolish; much less for a servant to be put over rulers.	Die Spruche 19:10 Dem Narren steht nicht wohl an, gute Tage haben, viel weniger einem Knecht, zu herrschen über Fürsten.
Proverbs 19:11 A man's good sense makes him slow to wrath, and the overlooking of wrongdoing is his glory.	Die Spruche 19:11 Wer geduldig ist, der ist ein kluger Mensch, und ist ihm eine Ehre, daß er Untugend überhören kann.
Proverbs 19:12 The king's wrath is like the loud cry of a lion, but his approval is like dew on the grass.	Die Spruche 19:12 Die Ungnade des Königs ist wie das Brüllen eines jungen Löwen; aber seine Gnade ist wie der Tau auf dem Grase.
Proverbs 19:13 A foolish son is the destruction of his father; and the bitter arguments of a wife are like drops of rain falling without end.	Die Spruche 19:13 Ein törichter Sohn ist seines Vaters Herzeleid, und ein zänkisches Weib ein stetiges Triefen.
Proverbs 19:14 House and wealth are a heritage from fathers, but a wife with good sense is from the Lord.	Die Spruche 19:14 Haus und Güter vererben die Eltern; aber ein vernünftiges Weib kommt vom HERRN.
Proverbs 19:15 Hate of work sends deep sleep on a man: and he who has no industry will go without food.	Die Spruche 19:15 Faulheit bringt Schlafen, und eine lässige Seele wird Hunger leiden.
Proverbs 19:16 He who keeps the law keeps his soul; but death will be the fate of him who takes no note of the word.	Die Spruche 19:16 Wer das Gebot bewahrt, der bewahrt sein Leben; wer aber seines Weges nicht achtet, wird sterben.
Proverbs 19:17 He who has pity on the poor gives to the Lord, and the Lord will give him his reward.	Die Spruche 19:17 Wer sich des Armen erbarmt, der leihet dem HERRN; der wird ihm wieder Gutes vergelten.
Proverbs 19:18 Give your son training while there is hope; let not your heart be purposing his death.	Die Spruche 19:18 Züchtige deinen Sohn, solange Hoffnung da ist; aber laß deine Seele nicht bewegt werden, ihn zu töten.
Proverbs 19:19 A man of great wrath will have to take his punishment: for if you get him out of trouble you will have to do it again.	Die Spruche 19:19 Großer Grimm muß Schaden leiden; denn willst du ihm steuern, so wird er noch größer.
Proverbs 19:20 Let your ear be open to suggestion and take teaching, so that at the end you may be wise.	Die Spruche 19:20 Gehorche dem Rat, und nimm Zucht an, daß du hernach weise seiest.
Proverbs 19:21 A man's heart may be full of designs, but the purpose of the Lord is unchanging.	Die Spruche 19:21 Es sind viel Anschläge in eines Mannes Herzen; aber der Rat des HERRN besteht.
Proverbs 19:22 The ornament of a man is his mercy, and a poor man is better than one who is false.	Die Spruche 19:22 Ein Mensch hat Lust an seiner Wohltat; und ein Armer ist besser denn ein Lügner.
Proverbs 19:23 The fear of the Lord gives life: and he who has it will have need of nothing; no evil will come his way.	Die Spruche 19:23 Die Furcht des HERRN fördert zum Leben, und wird satt bleiben, daß kein Übel sie heimsuchen wird.
Proverbs 19:24 The hater of work puts his hand deep into the basin, and will not even take it to his mouth again.	Die Spruche 19:24 Der Faule verbirgt seine Hand im Topf und bringt sie nicht wieder zum Munde.
Proverbs 19:25 When blows overtake the man of pride, the simple will get sense; say sharp words to the wise, and knowledge will be made clear to him.	Die Spruche 19:25 Schlägt man den Spötter, so wird der Unverständige klug; straft man einen Verständigen, so wird er vernünftig.
Proverbs 19:26 He who is violent to his father, driving away his mother, is a son causing shame and a bad name.	Die Spruche 19:26 Wer Vater verstört und Mutter verjagt, der ist ein schändliches und verfluchtes Kind.
Proverbs 19:27 A son who no longer gives attention to teaching is turned away from the words of knowledge.	Die Spruche 19:27 Laß ab, mein Sohn, zu hören die Zucht, und doch abzuirren von vernünftiger Lehre.
Proverbs 19:28 A good-for-nothing witness makes sport of the judge's decision: and the mouth of evil-doers sends out evil like a stream.	Die Spruche 19:28 Ein loser Zeuge spottet des Rechts, und der Gottlosen Mund verschlingt das Unrecht.
Proverbs 19:29 Rods are being made ready for the man of pride, and blows for the back of the foolish.	Die Spruche 19:29 Den Spöttern sind Strafen bereitet, und Schläge auf der Narren Rücken.
