Numbers 8:1 And the Lord said to Moses,	Numeri 8:1 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:
Numbers 8:2 Say to Aaron, When you put the lights in their places, the seven lights will give light in front of the support.	Numeri 8:2 Rede mit Aaron und sprich zu ihm: Wenn du Lampen aufsetzt, sollst du sie also setzen, daß alle sieben vorwärts von dem Leuchter scheinen.
Numbers 8:3 And Aaron did so; he put the lights in their places so that they gave light in front of the support, as the Lord gave orders to Moses.	Numeri 8:3 Und Aaron tat also und setzte die Lampen auf, vorwärts von dem Leuchter zu scheinen, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.
Numbers 8:4 The support for the lights was of hammered gold work, from its base to its flowers it was of hammered work; from the design which the Lord had given to Moses, he made the support for the lights.	Numeri 8:4 Der Leuchter aber war getriebenes Gold, beide, sein Schaft und seine Blumen; nach dem Gesicht, das der HERR dem Mose gezeigt hatte, also machte er den Leuchter.
Numbers 8:5 And the Lord said to Moses,	Numeri 8:5 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:
Numbers 8:6 Take the Levites out from among the children of Israel and make them clean.	Numeri 8:6 Nimm die Leviten aus den Kindern Israel und reinige sie.
Numbers 8:7 And this is how you are to make them clean: let the holy water which takes away sin be put on them, and let the hair all over their bodies be cut off with a sharp blade, and let their clothing be washed and their bodies made clean.	Numeri 8:7 Also sollst du aber mit ihnen tun, daß du sie reinigst: du sollst Sündwasser auf sie sprengen, und sie sollen alle ihre Haare rein abscheren und ihre Kleider waschen, so sind sie rein.
Numbers 8:8 Then let them take a young ox and its meal offering, crushed grain mixed with oil, and take another ox for a sin-offering.	Numeri 8:8 Dann sollen sie nehmen einen jungen Farren und sein Speisopfer, Semmelmehl, mit Öl gemengt; und einen andern jungen Farren sollst du zum Sündopfer nehmen.
Numbers 8:9 And make the Levites come forward in front of the Tent of meeting, and let all the children of Israel come together:	Numeri 8:9 Und sollst die Leviten vor die Hütte des Stifts bringen und die ganze Gemeinde der Kinder Israel versammeln
Numbers 8:10 And you are to take the Levites before the Lord: and the children of Israel are to put their hands on them:	Numeri 8:10 und die Leviten vor den HERRN bringen; und die Kinder Israel sollen ihre Hände auf die Leviten legen,
Numbers 8:11 And Aaron is to give the Levites to the Lord as a wave offering from the children of Israel, so that they may do the Lord's work.	Numeri 8:11 und Aaron soll die Leviten vor dem HERRN weben als Webeopfer von den Kindern Israel, auf daß sie dienen mögen in dem Amt des HERRN.
Numbers 8:12 And the Levites are to put their hands on the heads of the oxen, and one of the oxen is to be offered for a sin-offering and the other for a burned offering to the Lord to take away the sin of the Levites.	Numeri 8:12 Und die Leviten sollen ihre Hände aufs Haupt der Farren legen, und einer soll zum Sündopfer, der andere zum Brandopfer dem HERRN gemacht werden, die Leviten zu versöhnen.
Numbers 8:13 Then the Levites are to be put before Aaron and his sons, to be offered as a wave offering to the Lord.	Numeri 8:13 Und sollst die Leviten vor Aaron und seine Söhne stellen und vor dem HERRN weben,
Numbers 8:14 So you are to make the Levites separate from the children of Israel, and the Levites will be mine.	Numeri 8:14 und sollst sie also aussondern von den Kindern Israel, daß sie mein seien.
Numbers 8:15 After that, the Levites will go in to do whatever has to be done in the Tent of meeting; you are to make them clean and give them as a wave offering.	Numeri 8:15 Darnach sollen sie hineingehen, daß sie dienen in der Hütte des Stifts. Also sollst du sie reinigen und weben;
Numbers 8:16 For they have been given to me from among the children of Israel; in place of every mother's first son, the first to come to birth in Israel, I have taken them for myself.	Numeri 8:16 denn sie sind mein Geschenk von den Kindern Israel, und ich habe sie mir genommen für alles, was die Mutter bricht, nämlich für die Erstgeburt aller Kinder Israel.
Numbers 8:17 For every mother's first son among the children of Israel is mine, the first male birth of man or beast: on the day when I sent death on all the first sons in the land of Egypt, I made them mine.	Numeri 8:17 Denn alle Erstgeburt unter den Kindern Israel ist mein, der Menschen und des Viehes, seit der Zeit ich alle Erstgeburt in Ägyptenland schlug und heiligte sie mir
Numbers 8:18 And in place of the first sons among the children of Israel, I have taken the Levites.	Numeri 8:18 und nahm die Leviten an für alle Erstgeburt unter den Kindern Israel
Numbers 8:19 And I have given them to Aaron and to his sons, from among the children of Israel, to undertake for them all the work of the Tent of meeting, and to take away sin from the children of Israel so that no evil may come on them when they come near the holy place.	Numeri 8:19 und gab sie zum Geschenk Aaron und seinen Söhnen aus den Kindern Israel, daß sie dienen im Amt der Kinder Israel in der Hütte des Stifts, die Kinder Israel zu versöhnen, auf daß nicht unter den Kindern Israel sei eine Plage, so sie sich nahen wollten zum Heiligtum.
Numbers 8:20 All these things Moses and Aaron and the children of Israel did to the Levites; as the Lord gave orders to Moses about the Levites, so the children of Israel did.	Numeri 8:20 Und Mose mit Aaron samt der ganzen Gemeinde der Kinder Israel taten mit den Leviten alles, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte.
Numbers 8:21 And the Levites were made clean from sin, and their clothing was washed, and Aaron gave them for a wave offering before the Lord; and Aaron took away their sin and made them clean.	Numeri 8:21 Und die Leviten entsündigten sich und wuschen ihre Kleider, und Aaron webte sie vor dem HERRN und versöhnte sie, daß sie rein wurden.
Numbers 8:22 And then the Levites went in to do their work in the Tent of meeting before Aaron and his sons: all the orders which the Lord had given Moses about the Levites were put into effect.	Numeri 8:22 Darnach gingen sie hinein, daß sie ihr Amt täten in der Hütte des Stifts vor Aaron und seinen Söhnen. Wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte über die Leviten, also taten sie mit ihnen.
Numbers 8:23 And the Lord said to Moses,	Numeri 8:23 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:
Numbers 8:24 This is the rule for the Levites: those of twenty-five years old and over are to go in and do the work of the Tent of meeting;	Numeri 8:24 Das ist's, was den Leviten gebührt: von fünfundzwanzig Jahren und darüber taugen sie zum Amt und Dienst in der Hütte des Stifts;
Numbers 8:25 But after they are fifty years old, they are to give up their work and do no more;	Numeri 8:25 aber von dem fünfzigsten Jahr an sollen sie ledig sein vom Amt des Dienstes und sollen nicht mehr dienen,
Numbers 8:26 But be with their brothers in the Tent of meeting, taking care of it but doing no work. This is what you are to do in connection with the Levites and their work.	Numeri 8:26 sondern ihren Brüdern helfen des Dienstes warten an der Hütte des Stifts; des Amts aber sollen sie nicht pflegen. Also sollst du mit den Leviten tun, daß ein jeglicher seines Dienstes warte.
