Job 33	Hiob 33
Job 33:1 And now, O Job, give ear to my words, and take note of all I say.	Hiob 33:1 Höre doch, Hiob, meine Rede und merke auf alle meine Worte!
Job 33:2 See, now my mouth is open, my tongue gives out words.	Hiob 33:2 Siehe, ich tue meinen Mund auf, und meine Zunge redet in meinem Munde.
Job 33:3 My heart is overflowing with knowledge, my lips say what is true.	Hiob 33:3 Mein Herz soll recht reden, und meine Lippen sollen den reinen Verstand sagen.
Job 33:4 The spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Ruler of all gives me life.	Hiob 33:4 Der Geist Gottes hat mich gemacht, und der Odem des Allmächtigen hat mir das Leben gegeben.
Job 33:5 If you are able, give me an answer; put your cause in order, and come forward.	Hiob 33:5 Kannst du, so antworte mir; rüste dich gegen mich und stelle dich.
Job 33:6 See, I am the same as you are in the eyes of God; I was cut off from the same bit of wet earth.	Hiob 33:6 Siehe, ich bin Gottes ebensowohl als du, und aus Lehm bin ich auch gemacht.
Job 33:7 Fear of me will not overcome you, and my hand will not be hard on you.	Hiob 33:7 Siehe, du darfst vor mir nicht erschrecken, und meine Hand soll dir nicht zu schwer sein.
Job 33:8 But you said in my hearing, and your voice came to my ears:	Hiob 33:8 Du hast geredet vor meinen Ohren; die Stimme deiner Reden mußte ich hören:
Job 33:9 I am clean, without sin; I am washed, and there is no evil in me:	Hiob 33:9 "Ich bin rein, ohne Missetat, unschuldig und habe keine Sünde;
Job 33:10 See, he is looking for something against me; in his eyes I am as one of his haters;	Hiob 33:10 siehe, er hat eine Sache gegen mich gefunden, er achtet mich für einen Feind;
Job 33:11 He puts chains on my feet; he is watching all my ways.	Hiob 33:11 er hat meinen Fuß in den Stock gelegt und hat acht auf alle meine Wege."
Job 33:12 Truly, in saying this you are wrong; for God is greater than man.	Hiob 33:12 Siehe, darin hast du nicht recht, muß ich dir antworten; denn Gott ist mehr als ein Mensch.
Job 33:13 Why do you put forward your cause against him, saying, He gives no answer to any of my words?	Hiob 33:13 Warum willst du mit ihm zanken, daß er dir nicht Rechenschaft gibt alles seines Tuns?
Job 33:14 For God gives his word in one way, even in two, and man is not conscious of it:	Hiob 33:14 Denn in einer Weise redet Gott und wieder in einer anderen, nur achtet man's nicht.
Job 33:15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep comes on men, while they take their rest on their beds;	Hiob 33:15 Im Traum, im Nachtgesicht, wenn der Schlaf auf die Leute fällt, wenn sie schlafen auf dem Bette,
Job 33:16 Then he makes his secrets clear to men, so that they are full of fear at what they see;	Hiob 33:16 da öffnet er das Ohr der Leute und schreckt sie und züchtigt sie,
Job 33:17 In order that man may be turned from his evil works, and that pride may be taken away from him;	Hiob 33:17 daß er den Menschen von seinem Vornehmen wende und behüte ihn vor Hoffart
Job 33:18 To keep back his soul from the underworld, and his life from destruction.	Hiob 33:18 und verschone seine Seele vor dem Verderben und sein Leben, daß es nicht ins Schwert falle.
Job 33:19 Pain is sent on him as a punishment, while he is on his bed; there is no end to the trouble in his bones;	Hiob 33:19 Auch straft er ihn mit Schmerzen auf seinem Bette und alle seinen Gebeine heftig
Job 33:20 He has no desire for food, and his soul is turned away from delicate meat;	Hiob 33:20 und richtet ihm sein Leben so zu, daß ihm vor seiner Speise ekelt, und seine Seele, daß sie nicht Lust zu essen hat.
Job 33:21 His flesh is so wasted away, that it may not be seen, and his bones. ...	Hiob 33:21 Sein Fleisch verschwindet, daß man's nimmer sehen kann; und seine Gebeine werden zerschlagen, daß man sie nicht gerne ansieht,
Job 33:22 And his soul comes near to the underworld, and his life to the angels of death.	Hiob 33:22 daß seine Seele naht zum Verderben und sein Leben zu den Toten.
Job 33:23 If now there may be an angel sent to him, one of the thousands which there are to be between him and God, and to make clear to man what is right for him;	Hiob 33:23 So dann für ihn ein Engel als Mittler eintritt, einer aus tausend, zu verkündigen dem Menschen, wie er solle recht tun,
Job 33:24 And if he has mercy on him, and says, Let him not go down to the underworld, I have given the price for his life:	Hiob 33:24 so wird er ihm gnädig sein und sagen: "Erlöse ihn, daß er nicht hinunterfahre ins Verderben; denn ich habe eine Versöhnung gefunden."
Job 33:25 Then his flesh becomes young again, and he comes back to the days of his early strength;	Hiob 33:25 Sein Fleisch wird wieder grünen wie in der Jugend, und er wird wieder jung werden.
Job 33:26 He makes his prayer to God, and he has mercy on him; he sees God's face with cries of joy; he gives news of his righteousness to men;	Hiob 33:26 Er wird Gott bitten; der wird ihm Gnade erzeigen und wird ihn sein Antlitz sehen lassen mit Freuden und wird dem Menschen nach seiner Gerechtigkeit vergelten.
Job 33:27 He makes a song, saying, I did wrong, turning from the straight way, but he did not give me the reward of my sin.	Hiob 33:27 Er wird vor den Leuten bekennen und sagen: "Ich hatte gesündigt und das Recht verkehrt; aber es ist mir nicht vergolten worden.
Job 33:28 He kept my soul from the underworld, and my life sees the light in full measure.	Hiob 33:28 Er hat meine Seele erlöst, daß sie nicht führe ins Verderben, sondern mein Leben das Licht sähe."
Job 33:29 Truly, God does all these things to man, twice and three times,	Hiob 33:29 Siehe, das alles tut Gott zwei-oder dreimal mit einem jeglichen,
Job 33:30 Keeping back his soul from the underworld, so that he may see the light of life.	Hiob 33:30 daß er seine Seele zurückhole aus dem Verderben und erleuchte ihn mit dem Licht der Lebendigen.
Job 33:31 Take note O Job, give ear to me; keep quiet, while I say what is in my mind.	Hiob 33:31 Merke auf, Hiob, und höre mir zu und schweige, daß ich rede!
Job 33:32 If you have anything to say, give me an answer; for it is my desire that you may be judged free from sin.	Hiob 33:32 Hast du aber was zu sagen, so antworte mir; Sage an! ich wollte dich gerne rechtfertigen.
Job 33:33 If not, give attention to me, and keep quiet, and I will give you wisdom.	Hiob 33:33 Hast du aber nichts, so höre mir zu und schweige; ich will dich die Weisheit lehren.
