| And the Lord said to Moses, | Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach: |
| On the first day of the first month you are to put up the House of the Tent of meeting. | Du sollst die Wohnung der Hütte des Stifts aufrichten am ersten Tage des ersten Monats. |
| And inside it put the ark of the law, hanging the veil before it. | und sollst darein setzen die Lade des Zeugnisses und vor die Lade den Vorhang hängen. |
| And put the table inside, placing all the things on it in order; and put in the support for the lights, and let its lights be burning. | Und sollst den Tisch darbringen und ihn zubereiten und den Leuchter darstellen und die Lampen darauf setzen. |
| And put the gold altar for burning perfumes in front of the ark of the law, hanging the curtain over the doorway of the House. | Und sollst den goldenen Räucheraltar setzen vor die Lade des Zeugnisses und das Tuch in der Tür der Wohnung aufhängen. |
| And put the altar of burned offerings before the doorway of the House of the Tent of meeting. | Den Brandopferaltar aber sollst du setzen heraus vor die Tür der Wohnung der Hütte des Stifts, |
| And let the washing-vessel, with water in it, be put between the Tent of meeting and the altar. | und das Handfaß zwischen die Hütte des Stifts und den Altar, und Wasser darein tun, |
| And put up the hangings forming the open space all round it, with the curtain over its doorway. | und den Vorhof stellen umher, und das Tuch in der Tür des Vorhofs aufhängen. |
| And take the holy oil and put it on the House and everything in it, and make it and everything in it holy: | Und sollst die Salbe nehmen, und die Wohnung und alles, was darin ist, salben; und sollst sie weihen mit allem ihrem Geräte, daß sie heilig sei. |
| And put oil on the altar of burned offering, and make it and all its vessels holy; this altar is to be most holy. | Und sollst den Brandopferaltar salben mit allem seinem Geräte, und weihen, daß er hochheilig sei. |
| And put oil on the washing-vessel and its base, and make them holy. | Sollst auch das Handfaß und seinen Fuß salben und weihen. |
| Then let Aaron and his sons come to the door of the Tent of meeting; and after washing them with water, | Und sollst Aaron und seine Söhne vor die Tür der Hütte des Stifts führen und mit Wasser waschen, |
| You are to put on Aaron the holy robes; and you are to put oil on him, and make him holy, so that he may be my priest. | und Aaron die heiligen Kleider anziehen und ihn salben und weihen, daß er mein Priester sei; |
| And take his sons with him and put coats on them; | und seine Söhne auch herzuführen und ihnen die engen Röcke anziehen, |
| And put oil on them as you did on their father, so that they may be my priests: the putting on of oil will make them priests for ever, from generation to generation. | und sie salben, wie du ihren Vater gesalbt hast, daß sie meine Priester seien. Und diese Salbung sollen sie haben zum ewigen Priestertum bei ihren Nachkommen. |
| And Moses did this; as the Lord gave him orders, so he did. | Und Mose tat alles, wie ihm der HERR geboten hatte. |
| So on the first day of the first month in the second year the House was put up. | Also ward die Wohnung aufgerichtet im zweiten Jahr, am ersten Tage des ersten Monats. |
| Moses put up the House; placing its bases in position and lifting up its uprights, putting in the rods and planting the pillars in their places; | Und da Mose sie aufrichtete, setzte er die Füße und die Bretter und Riegel und richtete die Säulen auf |
| Stretching the outer tent over it, and covering it, as the Lord had given him orders. | und breitete die Hütte aus über der Wohnung und legte die Decke der Hütte obendarauf, wie der HERR ihm geboten hatte, |
| And he took the law and put it inside the ark, and put the rods at its side and the cover over it; | und nahm das Zeugnis und legte es in die Lade und tat die Stangen an die Lade und tat den Gnadenstuhl oben auf die Lade |
| And he took the ark into the House, hanging up the veil before it as the Lord had given him orders. | und brachte die Lade in die Wohnung und hing den Vorhang vor die Lade des Zeugnisses, wie ihm der HERR geboten hatte, |
| And he put the table in the Tent of meeting, on the north side outside the veil. | und setzte den Tisch in die Hütte des Stifts, an die Seite der Wohnung gegen Mitternacht, außen vor den Vorhang, |
| And he put the bread on it in order before the Lord, as the Lord had said. | und richtete Brot darauf zu vor dem HERRN, wie ihm der HERR geboten hatte, |
| The support for the lights he put in the Tent of meeting, opposite the table, on the south side: | und setzte den Leuchter auch hinein, gegenüber dem Tisch, an die Seite der Wohnung gegen Mittag, |
| Lighting the lights before the Lord, as the Lord had given him orders. | und tat Lampen darauf vor dem HERRN, wie ihm der HERR geboten hatte, |
| And he put the gold altar in the Tent of meeting, in front of the veil: | und setzte den goldenen Altar hinein vor den Vorhang |
| Burning sweet perfumes on it, as the Lord had given him orders. | und räucherte darauf mit gutem Räuchwerk, wie ihm der HERR geboten hatte, |
| And he put up the curtain at the doorway of the House. | und hing das Tuch in die Tür der Wohnung. |
| And at the door of the House of the Tent of meeting, he put the altar of burned offerings, offering on it the burned offering and the meal offering, as the Lord had given him orders. | Aber den Brandopferaltar setzte er vor die Tür der Wohnung der Hütte des Stifts und opferte darauf Brandopfer und Speisopfer, wie ihm der HERR geboten hatte. |
| And between the altar and the Tent of meeting he put the vessel with water in it for washing. | Und das Handfaß setzte er zwischen die Hütte des Stifts und den Altar und tat Wasser darein zum Waschen. |
| In it the hands and feet of Moses and Aaron and his sons were washed, | Und Mose, Aaron und seine Söhne wuschen ihre Hände und Füße darin. |
| Whenever they went into the Tent of meeting, and when they came near the altar, as the Lord had given orders to Moses. | Denn sie müssen sich waschen, wenn sie in die Hütte des Stifts gehen oder hinzutreten zum Altar, wie ihm der HERR geboten hatte. |
| And he put up the hangings forming the open space round the House and the altar, and put the curtain over the doorway. So Moses made the work complete. | Und er richtete den Vorhof auf um die Wohnung und um den Altar her und hing den Vorhang in das Tor des Vorhofs. Also vollendete Mose das ganze Werk. |
| Then the cloud came down covering the Tent of meeting, and the House was full of the glory of the Lord; | Da bedeckte die Wolke die Hütte des Stifts, und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN füllte die Wohnung. |
| So that Moses was not able to go into the Tent of meeting, because the cloud was resting on it, and the House was full of the glory of the Lord. | Und Mose konnte nicht in die Hütte des Stifts gehen, weil die Wolke darauf blieb und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN die Wohnung füllte. |
| And whenever the cloud was taken up from the House, the children of Israel went forward on their journey: | Und wenn die Wolke sich aufhob von der Wohnung, so zogen die Kinder Israel, solange sie reisten. |
| But while the cloud was there, they made no move till it was taken up. | Wenn sich aber die Wolke nicht aufhob, so zogen sie nicht bis an den Tag, da sie sich aufhob. |
| For the cloud of the Lord was resting on the House by day, and at night there was fire in the cloud, before the eyes of all the people of Israel, and so it was through all their journeys. | Denn die Wolke des HERRN war des Tages auf der Wohnung, und des Nachts war sie feurig vor den Augen des ganzen Hauses Israel, solange sie reisten. |
