Esra 8:1 Dies sind die Häupter ihrer Vaterhäuser und ihr Geschlecht, die mit mir heraufzogen von Babel zu den Zeiten, da der König Arthahsastha regierte:	Ezra 8:1 Now these are the heads of families who were listed of those who went up with me from Babylon, when Artaxerxes was king.
Esra 8:2 Von den Kindern Pinhas: Gersom; von den Kinder Ithamar: Daniel; von den Kindern David: Hattus,	Ezra 8:2 Of the sons of Phinehas, Gershom; of the sons of Ithamar, Daniel; of the sons of David, Hattush;
Esra 8:3 von den Kindern Sechanja; von den Kindern Pareos: Sacharja und mit ihm Mannsbilder, gerechnet hundertfünfzig;	Ezra 8:3 Of the sons of Shecaniah; of the sons of Parosh, Zechariah; and with him were listed a hundred and fifty males.
Esra 8:4 von den Kindern Pahath-Moab: Eljoenai, der Sohn Serahjas, und mit ihm zweihundert Mannsbilder;	Ezra 8:4 Of the sons of Pahath-moab, Eliehoenai, the son of Zerahiah; and with him two hundred males.
Esra 8:5 von den Kindern Satthu: Sechanja, der Sohn Jahasiels, und mit ihm dreihundert Mannsbilder;	Ezra 8:5 Of the sons of Shecaniah, the son of Jahaziel; and with him three hundred males.
Esra 8:6 von den Kindern Adin: Ebed, der Sohn Jonathan, und mit ihm fünfzig Mannsbilder;	Ezra 8:6 And of the sons of Adin, Ebed, the son of Jonathan; and with him fifty males.
Esra 8:7 von den Kindern Elam: Jesaja, der Sohn Athaljas, und mit ihm siebzig Mannsbilder;	Ezra 8:7 And of the sons of Elam, Jeshaiah; the son of Athaliah; and with him seventy males.
Esra 8:8 von den Kindern Sephatja: Sebadja, der Sohn Michaels und mit ihm achtzig Mannsbilder;	Ezra 8:8 And of the sons of Shephatiah, Zebadiah, the son of Michael; and with him eighty males.
Esra 8:9 von den Kindern Joab: Obadja, der Sohn Jehiels, und mit ihm zweihundertachtzehn Mannsbilder;	Ezra 8:9 Of the sons of Joab, Obadiah, the son of Jehiel; and with him two hundred and eighteen males.
Esra 8:10 von den Kindern Bani: Selomith, der Sohn Josiphjas, und mit ihm hundertsechzig Mannsbilder;	Ezra 8:10 And of the sons of Shelomith, the son of Josiphiah; and with him a hundred and sixty males.
Esra 8:11 von den Kindern Bebai: Sacharja, der Sohn Bebais, und mit ihm achtundzwanzig Mannsbilder;	Ezra 8:11 And of the sons of Bebai, Zechariah, the son of Bebai; and with him twenty-eight males.
Esra 8:12 von den Kindern Asgad: Johanan, der Sohn Hakkatans, und mit ihm hundertundzehn Mannsbilder;	Ezra 8:12 And of the sons of Azgad, Johanan, the son of Hakkatan; and with him a hundred and ten males.
Esra 8:13 von den Kindern Adonikams die letzten, und hießen also: Eliphelet, Jeiel und Semaja, und mit ihnen sechzig Mannsbilder;	Ezra 8:13 And of the sons of Adonikam, the last, whose names were Eliphelet, Jeuel, and Shemaiah; and with them sixty males.
Esra 8:14 von den Kindern Bigevai: Uthai und Sabbud und mit ihnen siebzig Mannsbilder.	Ezra 8:14 And of the sons of Bigvai, Uthai and Zabbud; and with them seventy males.
Esra 8:15 Und ich versammelte sie ans Wasser, das gen Ahava kommt; und wir bleiben drei Tage daselbst. Und da ich achthatte aufs Volk und die Priester, fand ich keine Leviten daselbst.	Ezra 8:15 And I made them come together by the river flowing to Ahava; and we were there in tents for three days: and after viewing the people and the priests I saw that no sons of Levi were there.
Esra 8:16 Da sandte ich hin Elieser, Ariel, Semaja, Elnathan, Jarib, Elnathan, Nathan, Sacharja und Mesullam, die Obersten, und Jojarib und Elnathan, die Lehrer,	Ezra 8:16 Then I sent for Eliezer and Ariel and Shemaiah and Elnathan Jarib and Elnathan and Nathan and Zechariah and Meshullam, all responsible men; and for Joiarib and Elnathan, who were wise men.
Esra 8:17 und sandte sie aus zu Iddo, dem Obersten, gen Kasphia, daß sie uns holten Diener für das Haus unsers Gottes. Und ich gab ihnen ein, was sie reden sollten mit Iddo und seinen Brüdern, den Tempelknechten, zu Kasphia.	Ezra 8:17 And I sent them to Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and gave them orders what to say to Iddo and his brothers the Nethinim at the place Casiphia, so that they might come back to us with men to do the work of the house of our God.
Esra 8:18 Und sie brachten uns, nach der guten Hand unsres Gottes über uns, einen klugen Mann aus den Kindern Maheli, des Sohnes Levis, des Sohnes Israels, und Serebja mit seinen Söhnen und Brüdern, achtzehn,	Ezra 8:18 And by the help of our God they got for us Ish-sechel, one of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah with his sons and brothers, eighteen;
Esra 8:19 und Hasabja und mit ihm Jesaja von den Kindern Merari mit seinen Brüdern und ihren Söhnen, zwanzig,	Ezra 8:19 And Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brothers and their sons, twenty;
Esra 8:20 und von den Tempelknechten, die David und die Fürsten gaben, zu dienen den Leviten, zweihundertundzwanzig, alle mit Namen genannt.	Ezra 8:20 And of the Nethinim, to whom David and the captains had given the work of helping the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinim, all of them specially named.
Esra 8:21 Und ich ließ daselbst am Wasser bei Ahava ein Fasten ausrufen, daß wir uns demütigten vor unserm Gott, zu suchen von ihm einen richtigen Weg für uns und unsre Kinder und alle unsre Habe.	Ezra 8:21 Then I gave orders for a time of going without food, there by the river Ahava, so that we might make ourselves low before our God in prayer, requesting from him a straight way for us and for our little ones and for all our substance.
Esra 8:22 Denn ich schämte mich vom König Geleit und Reiter zu fordern, uns wider die Feinde zu helfen auf dem Wege. Denn wir hatten dem König gesagt: Die Hand unsres Gottes ist zum Besten über alle, die ihn suchen, und seine Stärke und Zorn über alle, die ihn verlassen.	Ezra 8:22 For I would not, for shame, make request to the king for a band of armed men and horsemen to give us help against those who might make attacks on us on the way: for we had said to the king, The hand of our God is on his servants for good, but his power and his wrath are against all those who are turned away from him.
Esra 8:23 Also fasteten wir und suchten solches von unserm Gott, und er hörte uns.	Ezra 8:23 So we went without food, requesting our God for this: and his ear was open to our prayer.
Esra 8:24 Und ich sonderte zwölf aus von den obersten Priestern, dazu Serebja und Hasabja und mit ihnen ihrer Brüder zehn,	Ezra 8:24 So I put on one side twelve of the chiefs of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brothers with them,
Esra 8:25 und wog ihnen dar das Silber und Gold und die Gefäße zur Hebe für das Haus unsres Gottes, welche der König und seine Ratsherren und Fürsten und ganz Israel, das vorhanden war, zur Hebe gegeben hatten.	Ezra 8:25 And gave to them by weight the silver and the gold and the vessels, all the offering for the house of our God which the king and his wise men and his captains and all Israel there present had given:
Esra 8:26 Und wog ihnen dar unter ihre Hand sechshundertundfünfzig Zentner Silber und an silbernen Gefäßen hundert zentner und an Gold hundert Zentner,	Ezra 8:26 Measuring into their hands six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels, a hundred talents' weight, and a hundred talents of gold,
Esra 8:27 zwanzig goldene Becher, tausend Goldgulden wert, und zwei eherne, köstliche Gefäße, lauter wie Gold.	Ezra 8:27 And twenty gold basins, of a thousand darics, and two vessels of the best bright brass, equal in value to gold.
Esra 8:28 Und sprach zu ihnen: Ihr seid heilig dem HERRN, so sind die Gefäße auch heilig; dazu das frei gegebene Silber und Gold dem HERRN, eurer Väter Gott.	Ezra 8:28 And I said to them, You are holy to the Lord and the vessels are holy: and the silver and the gold are an offering freely given to the Lord, the God of your fathers.
Esra 8:29 So wacht und bewahrt es, bis daß ihr's darwägt vor den Obersten Priestern und Leviten und den Obersten der Vaterhäuser in Israel zu Jerusalem in die Kammer des Hauses des HERRN.	Ezra 8:29 Take care of them and keep them, till you put them on the scales before the chiefs of the priests and the Levites and the chiefs of the families of Israel, in Jerusalem, in the rooms of the house of the Lord.
Esra 8:30 Da nahmen die Priester und Leviten das gewogene Silber und Gold und die Gefäße, daß sie es brächten gen Jerusalem zum Hause unsres Gottes.	Ezra 8:30 So the priests and the Levites took the weight of silver and gold and the vessels, to take them to Jerusalem into the house of our God.
Esra 8:31 Also brachen wir auf von dem Wasser Ahava am zwölften Tage des ersten Monats, daß wir gen Jerusalem zögen. Und die Hand unsres Gottes war über uns und errettete uns von der Hand der Feinde und derer, die uns nachstellten auf dem Wege.	Ezra 8:31 Then we went away from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go to Jerusalem; and the hand of our God was on us, and he gave us salvation from our haters and those who were waiting to make an attack on us by the way.
Esra 8:32 Und wir kamen gen Jerusalem und blieben daselbst drei Tage.	Ezra 8:32 And we came to Jerusalem and were there for three days.
Esra 8:33 Aber am vierten Tage wurden dargewogen das Silber und Gold und die Gefäße ins Haus unsres Gottes unter die Hand des Priesters Meremoth, des Sohnes Urias, und mit ihm Eleasar, dem Sohn Pinehas, und mit ihnen Josabad, dem Sohn Jesuas, und Noadja, dem Sohn Binnuis, den Leviten,	Ezra 8:33 And on the fourth day, the silver and the gold and the vessels were measured out by weight in the house of our God into the hands of Meremoth, the son of Uriah, the priest; and with him was Eleazar, the son of Phinehas; and with them were Jozabad, the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah, the son of Binnui, the Levites;
Esra 8:34 nach Zahl und Gewicht eines jeglichen; und das Gewicht ward zu der Zeit alles aufgeschrieben.	Ezra 8:34 All was handed over by number and by weight: and the weight was put on record at that time.
Esra 8:35 Und die Kinder der Gefangenschaft, die aus der Gefangenschaft gekommen waren, opferten Brandopfer dem Gott Israels: zwölf Farren für das ganze Israel, sechsundneunzig Widder, siebenundsiebzig Lämmer, zwölf Böcke zum Sündopfer, alles zum Brandopfer dem HERRN.	Ezra 8:35 And those who had been prisoners, who had come back from a strange land, made burned offerings to the God of Israel, twelve oxen for all Israel, ninety-six male sheep, seventy-seven lambs, twelve he-goats for a sin-offering: all this was a burned offering to the Lord.
Esra 8:36 Und sie überantworteten des Königs Befehle den Amtleuten des Königs und den Landpflegern diesseit des Wassers. Und diese halfen dem Volk und dem Hause Gottes.	Ezra 8:36 And they gave the king's orders to the king's captains and the rulers across the river, and they gave the people and the house of God the help which was needed.
