Deuteronomium 21:1 Wenn man einen Erschlagenen findet in dem Lande, das dir der HERR, dein Gott, geben wird einzunehmen, und er liegt im Felde und man weiß nicht, wer ihn erschlagen hat,	Deuteronomy 21:1 If one be found slain in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, and it be not known who hath smitten him;
Deuteronomium 21:2 so sollen deine Ältesten und Richter hinausgehen und von dem Erschlagenen messen bis an die Städte, die umher liegen.	Deuteronomy 21:2 then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities which are round about him that is slain:
Deuteronomium 21:3 Welche Stadt die nächste ist, deren Älteste sollen eine junge Kuh von den Rindern nehmen, mit der man nicht gearbeitet und die noch nicht am Joch gezogen hat,	Deuteronomy 21:3 and it shall be, that the city which is nearest unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take a heifer of the herd, which hath not been wrought with, and which hath not drawn in the yoke;
Deuteronomium 21:4 und sollen sie hinabführen in einen kiesigen Grund, der weder bearbeitet noch besät ist, und daselbst im Grund ihr den Hals brechen.	Deuteronomy 21:4 and the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a valley with running water, which is neither plowed nor sown, and shall break the heifer's neck there in the valley.
Deuteronomium 21:5 Da sollen herzukommen die Priester, die Kinder Levi; denn der HERR, dein Gott, hat sie erwählt, daß sie ihm dienen und in seinem Namen segnen, und nach ihrem Mund sollen alle Sachen und alle Schäden gerichtet werden.	Deuteronomy 21:5 And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them Jehovah thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of Jehovah; and according to their word shall every controversy and every stroke be.
Deuteronomium 21:6 Und alle Ältesten der Stadt sollen herzutreten zu dem Erschlagenen und ihre Hände waschen über die junge Kuh, der im Grunde der Hals gebrochen ist,	Deuteronomy 21:6 And all the elders of that city, who are nearest unto the slain man, shall wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley;
Deuteronomium 21:7 und sollen antworten und sagen: Unsre Hände haben dies Blut nicht vergossen, so haben's auch unsre Augen nicht gesehen.	Deuteronomy 21:7 and they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen it.
Deuteronomium 21:8 Sei gnädig deinem Volk Israel, das du, HERR, erlöst hast; lege nicht das unschuldige Blut auf dein Volk Israel! So werden sie über dem Blut versöhnt sein.	Deuteronomy 21:8 Forgive, O Jehovah, thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and suffer not innocent blood [to remain] in the midst of thy people Israel. And the blood shall be forgiven them.
Deuteronomium 21:9 Also sollst du das unschuldige Blut von dir tun, daß du tust, was recht ist vor den Augen des HERRN.	Deuteronomy 21:9 So shalt thou put away the innocent blood from the midst of thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the eyes of Jehovah.
Deuteronomium 21:10 Wenn du in einen Streit ziehst wider deine Feinde, und der HERR, dein Gott, gibt sie dir in deine Hände, daß du ihre Gefangenen wegführst,	Deuteronomy 21:10 When thou goest forth to battle against thine enemies, and Jehovah thy God delivereth them into thy hands, and thou carriest them away captive,
Deuteronomium 21:11 und siehst unter den Gefangenen ein schönes Weib und hast Lust zu ihr, daß du sie zum Weibe nehmest,	Deuteronomy 21:11 and seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and thou hast a desire unto her, and wouldest take her to thee to wife;
Deuteronomium 21:12 so führe sie in dein Haus und laß sie ihr Haar abscheren und ihre Nägel beschneiden	Deuteronomy 21:12 then thou shalt bring her home to thy house; and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails;
Deuteronomium 21:13 und die Kleider ablegen, darin sie gefangen ist, und laß sie sitzen in deinem Hause und beweinen einen Monat lang ihren Vater und ihre Mutter; darnach gehe zu ihr und nimm sie zur Ehe und laß sie dein Weib sein.	Deuteronomy 21:13 and she shall put the raiment of her captivity from off her, and shall remain in thy house, and bewail her father and her mother a full month: and after that thou shalt go in unto her, and be her husband, and she shall be thy wife.
Deuteronomium 21:14 Wenn du aber nicht mehr Lust zu ihr hast, so sollst du sie gehen lassen, wohin sie will, und nicht um Geld verkaufen noch versetzen, darum daß du sie gedemütigt hast.	Deuteronomy 21:14 And it shall be, if thou have no delight in her, then thou shalt let her go whither she will; but thou shalt not sell her at all for money, thou shalt not deal with her as a slave, because thou hast humbled her.
Deuteronomium 21:15 Wenn jemand zwei Weiber hat, eine, die er liebhat, und eine, die er haßt, und sie ihm Kinder gebären, beide, die liebe und die unwerte, daß der Erstgeborene von der unwerten ist,	Deuteronomy 21:15 If a man have two wives, the one beloved, and the other hated, and they have borne him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the first-born son be hers that was hated;
Deuteronomium 21:16 und die Zeit kommt, daß er seinen Kindern das Erbe austeile, so kann er nicht den Sohn der liebsten zum erstgeborenen Sohn machen für den erstgeborenen Sohn der unwerten,	Deuteronomy 21:16 then it shall be, in the day that he causeth his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved the first-born before the son of the hated, who is the first-born:
Deuteronomium 21:17 sondern er soll den Sohn der unwerten für den ersten Sohn erkennen, daß er ihm zwiefältig gebe von allem, was vorhanden ist; denn derselbe ist der Erstling seiner Kraft, und der Erstgeburt Recht ist sein.	Deuteronomy 21:17 but he shall acknowledge the first-born, the son of the hated, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath; for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the first-born is his.
Deuteronomium 21:18 Wenn jemand einen eigenwilligen und ungehorsamen Sohn hat, der seines Vaters und seiner Mutter Stimme nicht gehorcht und, wenn sie ihn züchtigen, ihnen nicht gehorchen will,	Deuteronomy 21:18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, that will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and, though they chasten him, will not hearken unto them;
Deuteronomium 21:19 so sollen ihn Vater und Mutter greifen und zu den Ältesten der Stadt führen und zu dem Tor des Orts,	Deuteronomy 21:19 then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;
Deuteronomium 21:20 und zu den Ältesten der Stadt sagen: Dieser unser Sohn ist eigenwillig und ungehorsam und gehorcht unsrer Stimme nicht und ist ein Schlemmer und ein Trunkenbold.	Deuteronomy 21:20 and they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.
Deuteronomium 21:21 So sollen ihn steinigen alle Leute der Stadt, daß er sterbe, und sollst also das Böse von dir tun, daß es ganz Israel höre und sich fürchte.	Deuteronomy 21:21 And all the men of his city shall stone him to death with stones: so shalt thou put away the evil from the midst of thee; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.
Deuteronomium 21:22 Wenn jemand eine Sünde getan hat, die des Todes würdig ist, und wird getötet, und man hängt ihn an ein Holz,	Deuteronomy 21:22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree;
Deuteronomium 21:23 so soll sein Leichnam nicht über Nacht an dem Holz bleiben, sondern du sollst ihn desselben Tages begraben, denn ein Gehenkter ist verflucht bei Gott, auf daß du dein Land nicht verunreinigst, das dir der HERR, dein Gott, gibt zum Erbe.	Deuteronomy 21:23 his body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt surely bury him the same day; for he that is hanged is accursed of God; that thou defile not thy land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
