Isaias 17:1 Ang palas-anon sa Damasco. Ania karon, ang Damasco gikuhaan sa pagka ciudad, ug kini mahimong usa ka tipun-og nga guba.	Isaiah 17:1 The word about Damascus. See, they have made Damascus a town no longer; it has become a waste place.
Isaias 17:2 Ang mga ciudad sa Aroer ginabiyaan; sila mahimong mga dapit alang sa mga panon, nga manlubog, ug walay makapahadlok kanila.	Isaiah 17:2 Her towns are unpeopled for ever; there the flocks take their rest in peace, without fear.
Isaias 17:3 Ug ang Ephraim hunongan sa iyang kuta, ug sa gingharian gikan sa Damasco, ug sa salin sa Siria; sila mahasama sa himaya sa mga anak sa Israel, nagaingon si Jehova sa mga panon.	Isaiah 17:3 The strong tower has gone from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus: the rest of Aram will come to destruction, and be made like the glory of the children of Israel, says the Lord of armies.
Isaias 17:4 Ug mahinabo nianang adlawa, nga ang himaya ni Jacob magakunhod, ug ang katambok sa iyang unod magakaniwang.	Isaiah 17:4 And it will be in that day that the glory of Jacob will be made small, and the strength of his body will become feeble.
Isaias 17:5 Ug maingon nga ang mag-aani magapupo sa nagatindog nga lugas, ug ang iyang mga bukton magaani sa mga puso: oo, mahisama sa usa ka tawo nga magahagdaw sa mga puso sa walog sa Rephaim.	Isaiah 17:5 And it will be like a man cutting the growth of his grain, pulling together the heads of the grain with his arm; even as when they get in the grain in the valley of Rephaim.
Isaias 17:6 Apan adunay mahibilin nga mga halagdawon, ingon sa pag-uyog sa kahoy nga olivo, duruha kon totolo ka mga bunga sa tumoy sa labing hataas nga sanga, upat kun lima sa labing halayo nga mga sanga sa usa ka kahoy nga mabungaon, nagaingon si Jehova, ang Dios sa Israel.	Isaiah 17:6 But it will be like a man shaking an olive-tree, something will still be there, two or three berries on the top of the highest branch, four or five on the outside branches of a fertile tree, says the Lord, the God of Israel.
Isaias 17:7 Nianang adlawa ang mga tawo motan-aw sa ilang Magbubuhat, ug ang ilang mga mata makabaton ug pagtahud sa Balaan sa Israel.	Isaiah 17:7 In that day a man's heart will be turned to his Maker, and his eyes to the Holy One of Israel.
Isaias 17:8 Ug sila dili na motan-aw sa mga halaran, ang buhat sa ilang mga kamot; ni magatahud pa sila niadtong gihimo sa ilang mga tudlo, bisan sa Asherim, kun sa mga larawan-sa-adlaw.	Isaiah 17:8 He will not be looking to the altars, the work of his hands, or to the wood pillars or to the sun-images which his fingers have made.
Isaias 17:9 Nianang adlawa ang ilang mga ciudad mga malig-on mahasama sa biniyaang dapit sa kakahoyan ug sa kinatumyan sa bukid, nga mga biniyaan gikan sa atubangan sa mga anak sa Israel; ug kini mahimo nga usa ka kamingawan.	Isaiah 17:9 In that day your towns will be like the waste places of the Hivites and the Amorites which the children of Israel took for a heritage, and they will come to destruction.
Isaias 17:10 Kay hikalimtan mo ang Dios sa imong kaluwasan, ug ikaw wala magatagad sa bato sa imong kusog; tungod niini nagatanum ka ug matahum nga mga tanum ug nagapugas niana sa mga binhi nga lumalangyaw.	Isaiah 17:10 For you have not given honour to the God of your salvation, and have not kept in mind the Rock of your strength; for this cause you made a garden of Adonis, and put in it the vine-cuttings of a strange god;
Isaias 17:11 Sa adlaw sa imong pagtanum gikuralan mo kini, ug sa buntag gipabulak mo ang imong binhi; apan ang ting-ani mokalagiw sa adlaw sa kasakitan ug sa kasub-anan nga makawala sa paglaum.	Isaiah 17:11 In the day of your planting you were watching its growth, and in the morning your seed was flowering: but its fruit is wasted away in the day of grief and bitter sorrow.
Isaias 17:12 Ah, ang kagubot sa daghang katawohan, nga nagadaguok sama sa dinaguok sa mga dagat; ug ang dinalaganay sa mga nasud, nga nagahaganas sama sa paghaganas sa mabaskug nga mga tubig.	Isaiah 17:12 Ah! the voice of peoples, like the loud sounding of the seas, and the thundering of great nations rushing on like the bursting out of waters!
Isaias 17:13 Ang mga nasud modalagan sama sa paghaganas sa daghang mga tubig: apan iyang pagabadlongon sila, ug sila mangalagiw sa halayo, ug pagabugtawon ingon sa tahop sa kabukiran sa atubangan sa hangin, ug sama sa nagatuyok nga abug sa atubangan sa bagyo.	Isaiah 17:13 But he will put a stop to them, and make them go in flight far away, driving them like the waste of the grain on the tops of the mountains before the wind, and like the circling dust before the storm.
Isaias 17:14 Sa pagkagabii na, ania karon, ang kalisang; ug sa dili pa mabuntag sila mangahanaw. Kini mao ang ilang bahin nga nagasakmit kanato, ug ang palad niadtong nagatulis kanato.	Isaiah 17:14 In the evening there is fear, and in the morning they are gone. This is the fate of those who take our goods, and the reward of those who violently take our property for themselves.
