Mateo 4	Matthew 4
Mateo 4:1 Unya si Jesus gihatud sa Espiritu ngadto sa mga awaaw aron tintalon sa yawa.	Matthew 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
Mateo 4:2 Ug siya nagpuasa sulod sa kap-atan ka adlaw ug kap-atan ka gabii, ug tapus niini gibati niya ang kagutom.	Matthew 4:2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he afterward hungered.
Mateo 4:3 Ug ang maninintal miduol ug miingon kaniya, "Kay ikaw Anak man sa Dios, sugoa kining mga bato nga mahimong mga tinapay."	Matthew 4:3 And the tempter came and said unto him, If thou art the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.
Mateo 4:4 Apan kaniya mitubag siya nga nag-ingon, "Nahisulat na: `Ang tawo mabuhi dili sa tinapay lamang, kondili sa matag-pulong nga magagula sa baba sa Dios`"	Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Mateo 4:5 Unya gidala siya sa yawa ngadto sa siyudad nga balaan ug gitungtong siya sa kinahitas-an sa templo,	Matthew 4:5 Then the devil taketh him into the holy city; and he set him on the pinnacle of the temple,
Mateo 4:6 ug giingnan siya, "Kay ikaw Anak man sa Dios, umambak ikaw ngadto sa ubos; kay nahisulat man kini nga nagaingon: `Magahatag siyag sugo sa iyang mga manolunda mahitungod kanimo,` ug `Sa ilang mga kamot pagasapnayon ikaw nila, aron ang imong mga tiil dili mahipangdol sa bato.`	Matthew 4:6 and saith unto him, If thou art the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and, On their hands they shall bear thee up, Lest haply thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Mateo 4:7 Si Jesus miingon kaniya, "Usab nahisulat kini nga nagaingon, `Ayaw pagtintala ang Ginoo nga imong Dios.`"	Matthew 4:7 Jesus said unto him, Again it is written, Thou shalt not make trial of the Lord thy God.
Mateo 4:8 Unya gidala na usab siya sa yawa ngadto sa usa ka hataas kaayong bukid ug kaniya iyang gipakita ang tanang gingharian sa kalibutan ug ang ilang kahimayaan;	Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him unto an exceeding high mountain, and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
Mateo 4:9 ug iyang giingnan siya, "Kining tanan akong ihatag kanimo kon ikaw mohapa ug mosimba kanako."	Matthew 4:9 and he said unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
Mateo 4:10 Kaniya mitubag si Jesus nga nag-ingon, "Pahawa ka, Satanas! kay nahisulat kini nga nagaingon, `Maoy simbaha ang Ginoo nga imong Dios, ug siya lamang ang alagara.`"	Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Mateo 4:11 Unya ang yawa mipahawa kaniya, ug tan-awa, dihay mga manolunda nga miabut ug mialagad kaniya.	Matthew 4:11 Then the devil leaveth him; and behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
Mateo 4:12 Ug sa pagkadungog ni Jesus nga si Juan gidakop, siya mipahilit sa Galilea;	Matthew 4:12 Now when he heard that John was delivered up, he withdrew into Galilee;
Mateo 4:13 ug sa pagpahawa niya sa Nazaret, siya miadto ug mipuyo sa Capernaum sa daplin sa lanaw, sa kayutaan sa Zabulon ug Neftali,	Matthew 4:13 and leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the borders of Zebulun and Naphtali:
Mateo 4:14 aron matuman ang gisulti pinaagi sa profeta nga si Isaias, nga nagaingon:	Matthew 4:14 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying,
Mateo 4:15 "Ang yuta sa Zabulon ug yuta sa Neftali, sa dalan padulong sa dagat, tabok sa Jordan, Galilea sa mga Gentil--	Matthew 4:15 The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, Toward the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles,
Mateo 4:16 ang mga tawo nga nanagpuyo taliwala sa kangitngit nakakitag dakung kahayag, ug alang sa mga nanagpuyo sa dapit ug sa landong sa kamatayon, mibanag ang kahayag."	Matthew 4:16 The people that sat in darkness Saw a great light, And to them that sat in the region and shadow of death, To them did light spring up.
Mateo 4:17 Sukad niadtong higayona si Jesus misugod sa pagwali nga nag-ingon, "Pag-hinulsol kamo, kay ang gingharian sa langit haduol na."	Matthew 4:17 From that time began Jesus to preach, and to say, Repent ye; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mateo 4:18 Ug sa naglakaw siya sa ubay sa Lanaw sa Galilea, nakita niya ang duha ka mga magsoon nga lalaki, si Simon nga ginganlan si Pedro ug si Andres nga igsoon niya ni Pedro, nga nanglaya diha sa lanaw, kay mga mangingisda man sila.	Matthew 4:18 And walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw two brethren, Simon who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishers.
Mateo 4:19 Ug siya miingon kanila, "Sumunod kamo kanako, ug himoon ko kamong mga mangingisdag tawo."	Matthew 4:19 And he saith unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Mateo 4:20 Dihadiha gibiyaan nila ang ilang mga laya ug mikuyog kaniya.	Matthew 4:20 And they straightway left the nets, and followed him.
Mateo 4:21 Ug sa nagpadayon siya paglakaw sa unahan, nakita niya ang duha pa ka laing mga magsoon nga lalaki, si Santiago nga anak ni Zebedeo ug si Juan nga igsoon niya ni Santiago, diha sa sakayan uban kang Zebedeo nga ilang amahan, nga nanagpuna sa ilang mga pukot, ug sila iyang gitawag.	Matthew 4:21 And going on from thence he saw two other brethren, James the [son] of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.
Mateo 4:22 Dihadiha gibiyaan nila ang sakayan ug ang ilang amahan ug mikuyog kaniya.	Matthew 4:22 And they straightway left the boat and their father, and followed him.
Mateo 4:23 Ug ang tibuok Galilea gisuroy niya nga nagpanudlo sulod sa ilang mga sinagoga ug nagwali sa Maayong Balita mahitungod sa gingharian ug nag-ayo sa tanang balatian ug tanang sakit diha sa katawhan.	Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of disease and all manner of sickness among the people.
Mateo 4:24 Ug ang iyang kabantug mikaylap sa tibuok Siria, ug ngadto kaniya ilang gipanagdala ang tanang masakiton, ang mga gitakbuyan sa nagkalainlaing mga balatian ug mga kasakitan, ug ang mga giyawaan, mga palatulon, ug mga paralitico, ug iyang giayo sila.	Matthew 4:24 And the report of him went forth into all Syria: and they brought unto him all that were sick, holden with divers diseases and torments, possessed with demons, and epileptic, and palsied; and he healed them.
Mateo 4:25 Ug minunot kaniya ang dagkung mga panon sa katawhan gikan sa Galilea ug sa Decapolis ug sa Jerusalem ug sa Judea, ug gikan sa mga dapit tabok sa Jordan.	Matthew 4:25 And there followed him great multitudes from Galilee and Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judaea and [from] beyond the Jordan.
