Proverbs 5:1 My son, attend unto my wisdom; Incline thine ear to my understanding:	Châm Ngôn 5:1 Hỡi con, hãy chăm chỉ về sự khôn ngoan ta, Khá nghiêng tai qua nghe lời thông sáng ta;
Proverbs 5:2 That thou mayest preserve discretion, And that thy lips may keep knowledge.	Châm Ngôn 5:2 Để con gìn giữ sự dẽ dặt, Và môi con bảo tồn sự tri thức.
Proverbs 5:3 For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, And her mouth is smoother than oil:	Châm Ngôn 5:3 Vì môi kẻ dâm phụ đặt ra mật, Và miệng nó dịu hơn dầu;
Proverbs 5:4 But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a two-edged sword.	Châm Ngôn 5:4 Nhưng rốt lại đắng như ngải cứu, Bén như gươm hai lưỡi.
Proverbs 5:5 Her feet go down to death; Her steps take hold on Sheol;	Châm Ngôn 5:5 Chơn nó xuống chốn chết; Bước nó đụng đến âm phủ.
Proverbs 5:6 So that she findeth not the level path of life: Her ways are unstable, [and] she knoweth [it] not.	Châm Ngôn 5:6 Nó không tìm đặng con đường bằng thẳng của sự sống; Các lối nó lầm lạc, song nó chẳng biết đến.
Proverbs 5:7 Now therefore, [my] sons, hearken unto me, And depart not from the words of my mouth.	Châm Ngôn 5:7 Vậy bây giờ, hỡi các con, hãy nghe ta; Chớ lìa bỏ các lời của miệng ta.
Proverbs 5:8 Remove thy way far from her, And come not nigh the door of her house;	Châm Ngôn 5:8 Hãy dời đường con cách xa khỏi nó, Đừng lại gần cửa nhà nó;
Proverbs 5:9 Lest thou give thine honor unto others, And thy years unto the cruel;	Châm Ngôn 5:9 E con trao sự danh dự mình cho kẻ khác, Và năm tuổi con cho kẻ hung bạo.
Proverbs 5:10 Lest strangers be filled with thy strength, And thy labors [be] in the house of an alien,	Châm Ngôn 5:10 E người lạ được no nê hóa tài con, Và công lao con về nhà kẻ ngoại;
Proverbs 5:11 And thou mourn at thy latter end, When thy flesh and thy body are consumed,	Châm Ngôn 5:11 Kẻo đến cuối cùng con phải rên siết, Vì thịt và thân thể con đã bị hao mòn,
Proverbs 5:12 And say, How have I hated instruction, And my heart despised reproof;	Châm Ngôn 5:12 Rồi con nói rằng: Cớ sao tôi ghét lời khuyên dạy, Và lòng tôi khinh bỉ sự quở trách?
Proverbs 5:13 Neither have I obeyed the voice of my teachers, Nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!	Châm Ngôn 5:13 Nhơn sao tôi không vâng theo tiếng giáo sư tôi, Và chẳng nghiêng tai qua lời của người dạy dỗ tôi?
Proverbs 5:14 I was well-nigh in all evil In the midst of the assembly and congregation.	Châm Ngôn 5:14 Tại giữa dân sự và hội chúng, Tôi thiếu điều bị sa vào các thứ tai họa.
Proverbs 5:15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, And running waters out of thine own well.	Châm Ngôn 5:15 Hãy uống nước hồ con chứa, Và nước chảy trong giếng con.
Proverbs 5:16 Should thy springs be dispersed abroad, And streams of water in the streets?	Châm Ngôn 5:16 Các nguồn của con há nên tràn ra ngoài đường, Và các suối của con tuôn nơi phố chợ sao?
Proverbs 5:17 Let them be for thyself alone, And not for strangers with thee.	Châm Ngôn 5:17 Nó khá về một mình con, Chớ thông dụng nó với người ngoại.
Proverbs 5:18 Let thy fountain be blessed; And rejoice in the wife of thy youth.	Châm Ngôn 5:18 Nguyện nguồn mạch con được phước; Con hãy lấy làm vui thích nơi vợ con cưới buổi đang thì,
Proverbs 5:19 [As] a loving hind and a pleasant doe, Let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; And be thou ravished always with her love.	Châm Ngôn 5:19 Như nai cái đáng thương, và hoàng dương có duyên tốt, Nguyện nương long nàng làm thỏa lòng con luôn luôn, Và ái tình nàng khiến cho con say mê mãi mãi.
Proverbs 5:20 For why shouldest thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, And embrace the bosom of a foreigner?	Châm Ngôn 5:20 Hỡi con, lẽ nào con mê mệt người dâm phụ, Và nâng niu lòng của người ngoại?
Proverbs 5:21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of Jehovah; And he maketh level all his paths.	Châm Ngôn 5:21 Vì các đường của loài người ở trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va; Ngài ban bằng các lối của họ.
Proverbs 5:22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked, And he shall be holden with the cords of his sin.	Châm Ngôn 5:22 Kẻ hung dữ sẽ bị gian ác mình bắt phải, Và bị dây tội lỗi mình vấn buộc lấy.
Proverbs 5:23 He shall die for lack of instruction; And in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.	Châm Ngôn 5:23 Nó sẽ chết vì thiếu lời khuyên dạy, Và bị lầm lạc vì ngu dại quá.
