Proverbs 29:1 He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck Shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.	Proverbi 29:1 L’uomo che, essendo spesso ripreso, irrigidisce il collo, sarà di subito fiaccato, senza rimedio.
Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are increased, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man beareth rule, the people sigh.	Proverbi 29:2 Quando i giusti son numerosi, il popolo si rallegra: ma quando domina l’empio, il popolo geme.
Proverbs 29:3 Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father; But he that keepeth company with harlots wasteth [his] substance.	Proverbi 29:3 L’uomo che ama la sapienza, rallegra suo padre; ma chi frequenta le meretrici dissipa i suoi beni.
Proverbs 29:4 The king by justice establisheth the land; But he that exacteth gifts overthroweth it.	Proverbi 29:4 Il re, con la giustizia, rende stabile il paese; ma chi pensa solo a imporre tasse, lo rovina.
Proverbs 29:5 A man that flattereth his neighbor Spreadeth a net for his steps.	Proverbi 29:5 L’uomo che lusinga il prossimo, gli tende una rete davanti ai piedi.
Proverbs 29:6 In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare; But the righteous doth sing and rejoice.	Proverbi 29:6 Nella trasgressione del malvagio v’è un’insidia; ma il giusto canta e si rallegra.
Proverbs 29:7 The righteous taketh knowledge of the cause of the poor; The wicked hath not understanding to know [it].	Proverbi 29:7 Il giusto prende conoscenza della causa de’ miseri, ma l’empio non ha intendimento né conoscenza.
Proverbs 29:8 Scoffers set a city in a flame; But wise men turn away wrath.	Proverbi 29:8 I beffardi soffian nel fuoco delle discordie cittadine, ma i savi calmano le ire.
Proverbs 29:9 If a wise man hath a controversy with a foolish man, Whether he be angry or laugh, there will be no rest.	Proverbi 29:9 Se un savio viene a contesa con uno stolto, quello va in collera e ride, e non c’è da intendersi.
Proverbs 29:10 The bloodthirsty hate him that is perfect; And as for the upright, they seek his life.	Proverbi 29:10 Gli uomini di sangue odiano chi è integro, ma gli uomini retti ne proteggono la vita.
Proverbs 29:11 A fool uttereth all his anger; But a wise man keepeth it back and stilleth it.	Proverbi 29:11 Lo stolto dà sfogo a tutta la sua ira, ma il savio rattiene la propria.
Proverbs 29:12 If a ruler hearkeneth to falsehood, All his servants are wicked.	Proverbi 29:12 Quando il sovrano dà retta alle parole menzognere, tutti i suoi ministri sono empi.
Proverbs 29:13 The poor man and the oppressor meet together; Jehovah lighteneth the eyes of them both.	Proverbi 29:13 Il povero e l’oppressore s’incontrano; l’Eterno illumina gli occhi d’ambedue.
Proverbs 29:14 The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, His throne shall be established for ever.	Proverbi 29:14 Il re che fa ragione ai miseri secondo verità, avrà il trono stabilito in perpetuo.
Proverbs 29:15 The rod and reproof give wisdom; But a child left to himself causeth shame to his mother.	Proverbi 29:15 La verga e la riprensione dànno sapienza; ma il fanciullo lasciato a sé stesso, fa vergogna a sua madre.
Proverbs 29:16 When the wicked are increased, transgression increaseth; But the righteous shall look upon their fall.	Proverbi 29:16 Quando abbondano gli empi, abbondano le trasgressioni; ma i giusti ne vedranno la ruina.
Proverbs 29:17 Correct thy son, and he will give thee rest; Yea, he will give delight unto thy soul.	Proverbi 29:17 Correggi il tuo figliuolo; egli ti darà conforto, e procurerà delizie all’anima tua.
Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint; But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.	Proverbi 29:18 Quando non c’è visioni, il popolo è senza freno; ma beato colui che osserva la legge!
Proverbs 29:19 A servant will not be corrected by words; For though he understand, he will not give heed.	Proverbi 29:19 Uno schiavo non si corregge a parole; anche se comprende, non ubbidisce.
Proverbs 29:20 Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? There is more hope of a fool than of him.	Proverbi 29:20 Hai tu visto un uomo precipitoso nel suo parlare? C’è più da sperare da uno stolto che da lui.
Proverbs 29:21 He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child Shall have him become a son at the last.	Proverbi 29:21 Se uno alleva delicatamente da fanciullo il suo servo, questo finirà per voler essere figliuolo.
Proverbs 29:22 An angry man stirreth up strife, And a wrathful man aboundeth in transgression.	Proverbi 29:22 L’uomo iracondo fa nascere contese, e l’uomo collerico abbonda in trasgressioni.
Proverbs 29:23 A man's pride shall bring him low; But he that is of a lowly spirit shall obtain honor.	Proverbi 29:23 L’orgoglio abbassa l’uomo, ma chi è umile di spirito ottiene gloria.
Proverbs 29:24 Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul; He heareth the adjuration and uttereth nothing.	Proverbi 29:24 Chi fa società col ladro odia l’anima sua; egli ode la esecrazione e non dice nulla.
Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man bringeth a snare; But whoso putteth his trust in Jehovah shall be safe.	Proverbi 29:25 La paura degli uomini costituisce un laccio, ma chi confida nell’Eterno è al sicuro.
Proverbs 29:26 Many seek the ruler's favor; But a man's judgment [cometh] from Jehovah.	Proverbi 29:26 Molti cercano il favore del principe, ma l’Eterno fa giustizia ad ognuno.
Proverbs 29:27 An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous; And he that is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.	Proverbi 29:27 L’uomo iniquo è un abominio per i giusti, e colui che cammina rettamente è un abominio per gli empi.
