Isaiah 29:1 Ho Ariel, Ariel, the city where David encamped! add ye year to year; let the feasts come round:	Isaia 29:1 Guai ad Ariel, ad Ariel, città dove accampò Davide! Aggiungete anno ad anno, compiano le feste il loro ciclo!
Isaiah 29:2 then will I distress Ariel, and there shall be mourning and lamentation; and she shall be unto me as Ariel.	Isaia 29:2 Poi stringerò Ariel da presso; vi saranno lamenti e gemiti, ed ella mi sarà come un Ariel.
Isaiah 29:3 And I will encamp against thee round about, and will lay siege against thee with posted troops, and I will raise siege works against thee.	Isaia 29:3 Io porrò il mio campo attorno a te come un cerchio, io ti ricingerò di fortilizi, eleverò contro di te opere d’assedio.
Isaiah 29:4 And thou shalt be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust; and thy voice shall be as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.	Isaia 29:4 Sarai abbassata, parlerai da terra, e la tua parola uscirà sommessamente dalla polvere; la tua voce salirà dal suolo come quella d’uno spettro, e la tua parola sorgerà dalla polvere come un bisbiglio.
Isaiah 29:5 But the multitude of thy foes shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones as chaff that passeth away: yea, it shall be in an instant suddenly.	Isaia 29:5 Ma la moltitudine dei tuoi nemici diventerà come polvere minuta, e la folla di que’ terribili, come pula che vola; e ciò avverrà ad un tratto, in un attimo.
Isaiah 29:6 She shall be visited of Jehovah of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with whirlwind and tempest, and the flame of a devouring fire.	Isaia 29:6 Sarà una visitazione dell’Eterno degli eserciti con tuoni, terremoti e grandi rumori, con turbine, tempesta, con fiamma di fuoco divorante.
Isaiah 29:7 And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her stronghold, and that distress her, shall be as a dream, a vision of the night.	Isaia 29:7 E la folla di tutte le nazioni che, marciano contro ad Ariel, di tutti quelli che attaccano lei e la sua cittadella, e la stringono da presso, sarà come un sogno, come una visione notturna.
Isaiah 29:8 And it shall be as when a hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.	Isaia 29:8 E come un affamato sogna ed ecco che mangia, poi si sveglia ed ha lo stomaco vuoto, e come una che ha sete sogna che beve, poi si sveglia ed eccolo stanco ed assetato, così avverrà della folla di tutte le nazioni che marciano contro al monte Sion.
Isaiah 29:9 Tarry ye and wonder; take your pleasure and be blind: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.	Isaia 29:9 Stupitevi pure… sarete stupiti! Chiudete pure gli occhi… diventerete ciechi! Costoro sono ubriachi, ma non di vino; barcollano, ma non per bevande spiritose.
Isaiah 29:10 For Jehovah hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes, the prophets; and your heads, the seers, hath he covered.	Isaia 29:10 E’ l’Eterno che ha sparso su voi uno spirito di torpore; ha chiuso i vostri occhi (i profeti), ha velato i vostri capi (i veggenti).
Isaiah 29:11 And all vision is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee; and he saith, I cannot, for it is sealed:	Isaia 29:11 Tutte le visioni profetiche son divenute per voi come le parole d’uno scritto sigillato che si desse a uno che sa leggere, dicendogli: "Ti prego, leggi questo!" il quale risponderebbe: "Non posso perch’è sigillato!"
Isaiah 29:12 and the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee; and he saith, I am not learned.	Isaia 29:12 Ovvero come uno scritto che si desse ad uno che non sa leggere, dicendogli: "Ti prego, leggi questo!" il quale risponderebbe: "Non so leggere".
Isaiah 29:13 And the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw nigh [unto me], and with their mouth and with their lips to honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment of men which hath been taught [them];	Isaia 29:13 Il Signore ha detto: Giacché questo popolo s’avvicina a me colla bocca e mi onora con le labbra, mentre il suo cuore è lungi da me e il timore che ha di me non è altro che un comandamento imparato dagli uomini,
Isaiah 29:14 therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.	Isaia 29:14 ecco ch’io continuerò a fare tra questo popolo delle maraviglie, maraviglie su maraviglie; e la saviezza dei suoi savi perirà, e l’intelligenza degl’intelligenti di esso sparirà.
Isaiah 29:15 Woe unto them that hide deep their counsel from Jehovah, and whose works are in the dark, and that say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?	Isaia 29:15 Guai a quelli che si ritraggono lungi dall’Eterno in luoghi profondi per nascondere i loro disegni, che fanno le opere loro nelle tenebre, e dicono: "Chi ci vede? chi ci conosce?"
Isaiah 29:16 Ye turn things upside down! Shall the potter be esteemed as clay; that the thing made should say of him that made it, He made me not; or the thing formed say of him that formed it, He hath no understanding?	Isaia 29:16 Che perversità è la vostra! Il vasaio sarà egli reputato al par dell’argilla sì che l’opera dica dell’operaio: "Ei non m’ha fatto?" sì che il vaso dica al vasaio: "Non ci capisce nulla?"
Isaiah 29:17 Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest?	Isaia 29:17 Ancora un brevissimo tempo e il Libano sarà mutato in un frutteto, e il frutteto sarà considerato come una foresta.
Isaiah 29:18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity and out of darkness.	Isaia 29:18 In quel giorno, i sordi udranno le parole del libro, e, liberati dall’oscurità e dalle tenebre, gli occhi dei ciechi vedranno;
Isaiah 29:19 The meek also shall increase their joy in Jehovah, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.	Isaia 29:19 gli umili avranno abbondanza di gioia nell’Eterno, e i più poveri tra gli uomini esulteranno nel Santo d’Israele.
Isaiah 29:20 For the terrible one is brought to nought, and the scoffer ceaseth, and all they that watch for iniquity are cut off;	Isaia 29:20 Poiché il violento sarà scomparso, il beffardo non sarà più, e saran distrutti tutti quelli che vegliano per commettere iniquità,
Isaiah 29:21 that make a man an offender in [his] cause, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just with a thing of nought.	Isaia 29:21 che condannano un uomo per una parola, che tendon tranelli a chi difende le cause alla porta, e violano il diritto del giusto per un nulla.
Isaiah 29:22 Therefore thus saith Jehovah, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.	Isaia 29:22 Perciò così dice l’Eterno alla casa di Giacobbe, l’Eterno che riscattò Abrahamo: Giacobbe non avrà più da vergognarsi, e la sua faccia non impallidirà più.
Isaiah 29:23 But when he seeth his children, the work of my hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name; yea, they shall sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall stand in awe of the God of Israel.	Isaia 29:23 Poiché quando i suoi figliuoli vedranno in mezzo a loro l’opera delle mie mani, santificheranno il mio nome, santificheranno il Santo di Giacobbe, e temeranno grandemente l’Iddio d’Israele;
Isaiah 29:24 They also that err in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmur shall receive instruction.	Isaia 29:24 i traviati di spirito impareranno la saviezza, e i mormoratori accetteranno l’istruzione.
