箴言 5
|
| My son, attend unto my wisdom; Incline thine ear to my understanding: | 我 兒 、 要 留 心 我 智 慧 的 話 語 、 側 耳 聽 我 聰 明 的 言 詞 ． |
| That thou mayest preserve discretion, And that thy lips may keep knowledge. | 為 要 使 你 謹 守 謀 略 、 嘴 唇 保 存 知 識 。 |
| For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, And her mouth is smoother than oil: | 因 為 淫 婦 的 嘴 滴 下 蜂 蜜 、 他 的 口 比 油 更 滑 ． |
| But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a two-edged sword. | 至 終 卻 苦 似 茵 蔯 、 快 如 兩 刃 的 刀 。 |
| Her feet go down to death; Her steps take hold on Sheol; | 他 的 腳 、 下 入 死 地 ． 他 腳 步 、 踏 住 陰 間 ． |
| So that she findeth not the level path of life: Her ways are unstable, [and] she knoweth [it] not. | 以 致 他 找 不 著 生 命 平 坦 的 道 ． 他 的 路 變 遷 不 定 、 自 己 還 不 知 道 。 |
| Now therefore, [my] sons, hearken unto me, And depart not from the words of my mouth. | 眾 子 阿 、 現 在 要 聽 從 我 、 不 可 離 棄 我 口 中 的 話 。 |
| Remove thy way far from her, And come not nigh the door of her house; | 你 所 行 的 道 要 離 他 遠 、 不 可 就 近 他 的 房 門 ． |
| Lest thou give thine honor unto others, And thy years unto the cruel; | 恐 怕 將 你 的 尊 榮 給 別 人 、 將 你 的 歲 月 給 殘 忍 的 人 ． |
| Lest strangers be filled with thy strength, And thy labors [be] in the house of an alien, | 恐 怕 外 人 滿 得 你 的 力 量 、 你 勞 碌 得 來 的 、 歸 入 外 人 的 家 ． |
| And thou mourn at thy latter end, When thy flesh and thy body are consumed, | 終 久 你 皮 肉 和 身 體 消 毀 、 你 就 悲 歎 、 |
| And say, How have I hated instruction, And my heart despised reproof; | 說 、 我 怎 麼 恨 惡 訓 誨 、 心 中 藐 視 責 備 、 |
| Neither have I obeyed the voice of my teachers, Nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me! | 也 不 聽 從 我 師 傅 的 話 、 又 不 側 耳 聽 那 教 訓 我 的 人 。 |
| I was well-nigh in all evil In the midst of the assembly and congregation. | 我 在 聖 會 裡 、 幾 乎 落 在 諸 般 惡 中 。 |
| Drink waters out of thine own cistern, And running waters out of thine own well. | 你 要 喝 自 己 池 中 的 水 、 飲 自 己 井 裡 的 活 水 。 |
| Should thy springs be dispersed abroad, And streams of water in the streets? | 你 的 泉 源 豈 可 漲 溢 在 外 ． 你 的 河 水 豈 可 流 在 街 上 ． |
| Let them be for thyself alone, And not for strangers with thee. | 惟 獨 歸 你 一 人 、 不 可 與 外 人 同 用 。 |
| Let thy fountain be blessed; And rejoice in the wife of thy youth. | 要 使 你 的 泉 源 蒙 福 ． 要 喜 悅 你 幼 年 所 娶 的 妻 。 |
| [As] a loving hind and a pleasant doe, Let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; And be thou ravished always with her love. | 他 如 可 愛 的 麀 鹿 、 可 喜 的 母 鹿 ． 願 他 的 胸 懷 、 使 你 時 時 知 足 ． 他 的 愛 情 、 使 你 常 常 戀 慕 。 |
| For why shouldest thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, And embrace the bosom of a foreigner? | 我 兒 、 你 為 何 戀 慕 淫 婦 、 為 何 抱 外 女 的 胸 懷 ． |
| For the ways of man are before the eyes of Jehovah; And he maketh level all his paths. | 因 為 人 所 行 的 道 、 都 在 耶 和 華 眼 前 ． 他 也 修 平 人 一 切 的 路 。 |
| His own iniquities shall take the wicked, And he shall be holden with the cords of his sin. | 惡 人 必 被 自 己 的 罪 孽 捉 住 ． 他 必 被 自 己 的 罪 惡 如 繩 索 纏 繞 。 |
| He shall die for lack of instruction; And in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray. | 他 因 不 受 訓 誨 、 就 必 死 亡 ． 又 因 愚 昧 過 甚 、 必 走 差 了 路 。 |
