Esaïe 50:1 Ainsi parle l`Éternel: Où est la lettre de divorce par laquelle j`ai répudié votre mère? Ou bien, auquel de mes créanciers vous ai-je vendus? Voici, c`est à cause de vos iniquités que vous avez été vendus, Et c`est à cause de vos péchés que votre mère a été répudiée.	Isaiah 50:1 This is the word of the Lord: Where is the statement which I gave your mother when I put her away? or to which of my creditors have I given you for money? It was for your sins that you were given into the hands of others, and for your evil-doing was your mother put away.
Esaïe 50:2 Je suis venu: pourquoi n`y avait-il personne? J`ai appelé: pourquoi personne n`a-t-il répondu? Ma main est-elle trop courte pour racheter? N`ai-je pas assez de force pour délivrer? Par ma menace, je dessèche la mer, Je réduis les fleuves en désert; Leurs poissons se corrompent, faute d`eau, Et ils périssent de soif.	Isaiah 50:2 Why, then, when I came, was there no man? and no one to give answer to my voice? has my hand become feeble, so that it is unable to take up your cause? or have I no power to make you free? See, at my word the sea becomes dry, I make the rivers a waste land: their fish are dead for need of water, and make an evil smell.
Esaïe 50:3 Je revêts les cieux d`obscurité, Et je fais d`un sac leur couverture.	Isaiah 50:3 By me the heavens are clothed with black, and I make haircloth their robe.
Esaïe 50:4 Le Seigneur, l`Éternel, m`a donné une langue exercée, Pour que je sache soutenir par la parole celui qui est abattu; Il éveille, chaque matin, il éveille mon oreille, Pour que j`écoute comme écoutent des disciples.	Isaiah 50:4 The Lord God has given me the tongue of those who are experienced, so that I may be able to give the word a special sense for the feeble: every morning my ear is open to his teaching, like those who are experienced:
Esaïe 50:5 Le Seigneur, l`Éternel, m`a ouvert l`oreille, Et je n`ai point résisté, Je ne me suis point retiré en arrière.	Isaiah 50:5 And I have not put myself against him, or let my heart be turned back from him.
Esaïe 50:6 J`ai livré mon dos à ceux qui me frappaient, Et mes joues à ceux qui m`arrachaient la barbe; Je n`ai pas dérobé mon visage Aux ignominies et aux crachats.	Isaiah 50:6 I was offering my back to those who gave me blows, and my face to those who were pulling out my hair: I did not keep my face covered from marks of shame.
Esaïe 50:7 Mais le Seigneur, l`Éternel, m`a secouru; C`est pourquoi je n`ai point été déshonoré, C`est pourquoi j`ai rendu mon visage semblable à un caillou, Sachant que je ne serais point confondu.	Isaiah 50:7 For the Lord God is my helper; I will not be put to shame: so I have made my face like a rock, and I am certain that he will give me my right.
Esaïe 50:8 Celui qui me justifie est proche: Qui disputera contre moi? Comparaissons ensemble! Qui est mon adversaire? Qu`il s`avance vers moi!	Isaiah 50:8 He who takes up my cause is near; who will go to law with me? let us come together before the judge: who is against me? let him come near to me.
Esaïe 50:9 Voici, le Seigneur, l`Éternel, me secourra: Qui me condamnera? Voici, ils tomberont tous en lambeaux comme un vêtement, La teigne les dévorera.	Isaiah 50:9 See, the Lord God is my helper; who will give a decision against me? truly, all of them will become old like a robe; they will be food for the worm.
Esaïe 50:10 Quiconque parmi vous craint l`Éternel, Qu`il écoute la voix de son serviteur! Quiconque marche dans l`obscurité et manque de lumière, Qu`il se confie dans le nom de l`Éternel, Et qu`il s`appuie sur son Dieu!	Isaiah 50:10 Who among you has the fear of the Lord, giving ear to the voice of his servant who has been walking in the dark and has no light? Let him put his faith in the name of the Lord, looking to his God for support.
Esaïe 50:11 Voici, vous tous qui allumez un feu, Et qui êtes armés de torches, Allez au milieu de votre feu et de vos torches enflammées! C`est par ma main que ces choses vous arriveront; Vous vous coucherez dans la douleur.	Isaiah 50:11 See, all you who make a fire, arming yourselves with burning branches: go in the flame of your fire, and among the branches you have put a light to. This will you have from my hand, you will make your bed in sorrow.
