Salmos 140:1 LIBRAME, oh Jehová, de hombre malo: Guárdame de hombre violento;	Psalms 140:1 To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David.O Lord, take me out of the power of the evil man; keep me safe from the violent man:
Salmos 140:2 Los cuales maquinan males en el corazón, Cada día urden contiendas.	Psalms 140:2 For their hearts are full of evil designs; and they are ever making ready causes of war.
Salmos 140:3 Aguzaron su lengua como la serpiente; Veneno de áspid hay debajo de sus labios. (Selah.)	Psalms 140:3 Their tongues are sharp like the tongue of a snake; the poison of snakes is under their lips. (Selah.)
Salmos 140:4 Guárdame, oh Jehová, de manos del impío, Presérvame del hombre injurioso; Que han pensado de trastornar mis pasos.	Psalms 140:4 O Lord, take me out of the hands of sinners; keep me safe from the violent man: for they are designing my downfall.
Salmos 140:5 Hanme escondido lazo y cuerdas los soberbios; Han tendido red junto á la senda; Me han puesto lazos. (Selah.)	Psalms 140:5 The men of pride have put secret cords for my feet; stretching nets in my way, so that they may take me with their tricks. (Selah.)
Salmos 140:6 He dicho á Jehová: Dios mío eres tú; Escucha, oh Jehová, la voz de mis ruegos.	Psalms 140:6 I have said to the Lord, You are my God: give ear, O Lord, to the voice of my prayer.
Salmos 140:7 Jehová Señor, fortaleza de mi salud, Tú pusiste á cubierto mi cabeza el día de las armas.	Psalms 140:7 O Lord God, the strength of my salvation, you have been a cover over my head in the day of the fight.
Salmos 140:8 No des, oh Jehová, al impío sus deseos; No saques adelante su pensamiento, que no se ensoberbezca. (Selah.)	Psalms 140:8 O Lord, give not the wrongdoer his desire; give him no help in his evil designs, or he may be uplifted in pride. (Selah.)
Salmos 140:9 En cuanto á los que por todas partes me rodean, La maldad de sus propios labios cubrirá su cabeza.	Psalms 140:9 As for those who come round me, let their heads be covered by the evil of their lips.
Salmos 140:10 Caerán sobre ellos brasas; Dios los hará caer en el fuego, En profundos hoyos de donde no salgan.	Psalms 140:10 Let burning flames come down on them: let them be put into the fire, and into deep waters, so that they may not get up again.
Salmos 140:11 El hombre deslenguado no será firme en la tierra: El mal cazará al hombre injusto para derribarle.	Psalms 140:11 Let not a man of evil tongue be safe on earth: let destruction overtake the violent man with blow on blow.
Salmos 140:12 Yo sé que hará Jehová el juicio del afligido, El juicio de los menesterosos.	Psalms 140:12 I am certain that the Lord will take care of the cause of the poor, and of the rights of those who are troubled.
Salmos 140:13 Ciertamente los justos alabarán tu nombre; Los rectos morarán en tu presencia.	Psalms 140:13 Truly, the upright will give praise to your name: the holy will have a place in your house.
