Proverbios 28:1 ^
HUYE el impío sin que nadie lo persiga: Mas el justo está confiado como un leoncillo.
Proverbs 28:1 ^
The evil man goes running away when no man is after him, but the upright are without fear, like the lion.
Proverbios 28:2 ^
Por la rebelión de la tierra sus príncipes son muchos: Mas por el hombre entendido y sabio permanecerá sin mutación.
Proverbs 28:2 ^
Because of the sin of the land, its troubles are increased; but by a man of wisdom and knowledge they will be put out like a fire.
Proverbios 28:3 ^
El hombre pobre y robador de los pobres, Es lluvia de avenida y sin pan.
Proverbs 28:3 ^
A man of wealth who is cruel to the poor is like a violent rain causing destruction of food.
Proverbios 28:4 ^
Los que dejan la ley, alaban á los impíos: Mas los que la guardan, contenderán con ellos.
Proverbs 28:4 ^
Those who have no respect for the law give praise to the evil-doer; but such as keep the law are against him.
Proverbios 28:5 ^
Los hombres malos no entienden el juicio: Mas los que buscan á Jehová, entienden todas las cosas.
Proverbs 28:5 ^
Evil men have no knowledge of what is right; but those who go after the Lord have knowledge of all things.
Proverbios 28:6 ^
Mejor es el pobre que camina en su integridad, Que el de perversos caminos, y rico.
Proverbs 28:6 ^
Better is the poor man whose ways are upright, than the man of wealth whose ways are not straight.
Proverbios 28:7 ^
El que guarda la ley es hijo prudente: Mas el que es compañero de glotones, avergüenza á su padre.
Proverbs 28:7 ^
He who keeps the law is a wise son, but he who keeps company with feasters puts shame on his father.
Proverbios 28:8 ^
El que aumenta sus riquezas con usura y crecido interés, Para que se dé á los pobres lo allega.
Proverbs 28:8 ^
He who makes his wealth greater by taking interest, only gets it together for him who has pity on the poor.
Proverbios 28:9 ^
El que aparta su oído para no oir la ley, Su oración también es abominable.
Proverbs 28:9 ^
As for the man whose ear is turned away from hearing the law, even his prayer is disgusting.
Proverbios 28:10 ^
El que hace errar á los rectos por el mal camino, Él caerá en su misma sima: Mas los perfectos heredarán el bien.
Proverbs 28:10 ^
Anyone causing the upright to go wandering in an evil way, will himself go down into the hole he has made; but the upright will have good things for their heritage.
Proverbios 28:11 ^
El hombre rico es sabio en su opinión: Mas el pobre entendido lo examinará.
Proverbs 28:11 ^
The man of wealth seems to himself to be wise, but the poor man who has sense has a low opinion of him.
Proverbios 28:12 ^
Cuando los justos se alegran, grande es la gloria; Mas cuando los impíos son levantados, es buscado el hombre.
Proverbs 28:12 ^
When the upright do well, there is great glory; but when evil-doers are lifted up, men do not let themselves be seen.
Proverbios 28:13 ^
El que encubre sus pecados, no prosperará: Mas el que los confiesa y se aparta, alcanzará misericordia.
Proverbs 28:13 ^
He who keeps his sins secret will not do well; but one who is open about them, and gives them up, will get mercy.
Proverbios 28:14 ^
Bienaventurado el hombre que siempre está temeroso: Mas el que endurece su corazón, caerá en mal.
Proverbs 28:14 ^
Happy is the man in whom is the fear of the Lord at all times; but he whose heart is hard will come into trouble.
Proverbios 28:15 ^
León rugiente y oso hambriento, Es el príncipe impío sobre el pueblo pobre.
Proverbs 28:15 ^
Like a loud-voiced lion and a wandering bear, is an evil ruler over a poor people.
Proverbios 28:16 ^
El príncipe falto de entendimiento multiplicará los agravios: Mas el que aborrece la avaricia, prolongará sus días.
Proverbs 28:16 ^
The prince who has no sense is a cruel ruler; but he who has no desire to get profit for himself will have long life.
Proverbios 28:17 ^
El hombre que hace violencia con sangre de persona, Huirá hasta el sepulcro, y nadie le detendrá.
Proverbs 28:17 ^
One who has been the cause of a man's death will go in flight to the underworld: let no man give him help.
Proverbios 28:18 ^
El que en integridad camina, será salvo; Mas el de perversos caminos caerá en alguno.
Proverbs 28:18 ^
He whose ways are upright will be safe, but sudden will be the fall of him whose ways are twisted.
Proverbios 28:19 ^
El que labra su tierra, se hartará de pan: Mas el que sigue los ociosos, se hartará de pobreza.
Proverbs 28:19 ^
By ploughing his land a man will have bread in full measure; but he who goes after good-for-nothing persons will be poor enough.
Proverbios 28:20 ^
El hombre de verdad tendrá muchas bendiciones: Mas el que se apresura á enriquecer, no será sin culpa.
Proverbs 28:20 ^
A man of good faith will have great blessing, but one attempting to get wealth quickly will not go free from punishment.
Proverbios 28:21 ^
Tener acepción de personas, no es bueno: Hasta por un bocado de pan prevaricará el hombre.
Proverbs 28:21 ^
It is not good to have respect for a man's position: for a man will do wrong for a bit of bread.
Proverbios 28:22 ^
Apresúrase á ser rico el hombre de mal ojo; Y no conoce que le ha de venir pobreza.
Proverbs 28:22 ^
He who is ever desiring wealth goes running after money, and does not see that need will come on him.
Proverbios 28:23 ^
El que reprende al hombre, hallará después mayor gracia Que el que lisonjea con la lengua.
Proverbs 28:23 ^
He who says words of protest to a man will later have more approval than one who says smooth words with his tongue.
Proverbios 28:24 ^
El que roba á su padre ó á su madre, y dice que no es maldad, Compañero es del hombre destruidor.
Proverbs 28:24 ^
He who takes from his father or his mother what is theirs by right, and says, It is no sin; is the same as a taker of life.
Proverbios 28:25 ^
El altivo de ánimo suscita contiendas: Mas el que en Jehová confía, medrará.
Proverbs 28:25 ^
He who is ever desiring profit is a cause of fighting; but he who puts his faith in the Lord will be made fat.
Proverbios 28:26 ^
El que confía en su corazón es necio; Mas el que camina en sabiduría, será salvo.
Proverbs 28:26 ^
He whose faith is in himself is foolish; but everyone walking wisely will be kept safe.
Proverbios 28:27 ^
El que da al pobre, no tendrá pobreza: Mas el que aparta sus ojos, tendrá muchas maldiciones.
Proverbs 28:27 ^
He who gives to the poor will never be in need, but great curses will be on him who gives no attention to them.
Proverbios 28:28 ^
Cuando los impíos son levantados, esconderáse el hombre: Mas cuando perecen, los justos se multiplican.
Proverbs 28:28 ^
When evil-doers are lifted up, men take cover; but when destruction overtakes them, the upright are increased.
