Numbers 31:1 Then the Lord said to Moses,	Números 31:1 Y Jehova habló á Moisés, diciendo:
Numbers 31:2 Give the Midianites punishment for the wrong they did to the children of Israel: and after that you will go to rest with your people.	Números 31:2 Haz la venganza de los hijos de Israel sobre los Madianitas; después serás recogido á tus pueblos.
Numbers 31:3 So Moses said to the people, Let men from among you be armed for war to put into effect against Midian the Lord's punishment on them.	Números 31:3 Entonces Moisés habló al pueblo, diciendo: Armaos algunos de vosotros para la guerra, é irán contra Madián, y harán la venganza de Jehová en Madián.
Numbers 31:4 From every tribe of Israel send a thousand to the war.	Números 31:4 Mil de cada tribu de todas las tribus de los hijos de Israel, enviaréis á la guerra.
Numbers 31:5 So from the thousands of Israel a thousand were taken from every tribe, twelve thousand men armed for war.	Números 31:5 Así fueron dados de los millares de Israel, mil por cada tribu, doce mil á punto de guerra.
Numbers 31:6 And Moses sent them out to war, a thousand from every tribe, and with them Phinehas, the son of Eleazar the priest, taking in his hands the vessels of the holy place and the horns for sounding the note of war.	Números 31:6 Y Moisés los envió á la guerra: mil por cada tribu envió: y Phinees, hijo de Eleazar sacerdote, fué á la guerra con los santos instrumentos, con las trompetas en su mano para tocar.
Numbers 31:7 And they made war on Midian, as the Lord gave orders to Moses; and they put to death every male.	Números 31:7 Y pelearon contra Madián, como Jehová lo mandó á Moisés, y mataron á todo varón.
Numbers 31:8 They put the kings of Midian to death with the rest, Evi and Reken and Zur and Hur and Reba, the five kings of Midian: and Balaam, the son of Beor, they put to death with the sword.	Números 31:8 Mataron también, entre los muertos de ellos, á los reyes de Madián: Evi, y Recem, y Zur, y Hur, y Reba, cinco reyes de Madián; á Balaam también, hijo de Beor, mataron á cuchillo.
Numbers 31:9 The women of Midian with their little ones the children of Israel took prisoner; and all their cattle and flocks and all their goods they took for themselves;	Números 31:9 Y llevaron cautivas los hijos de Israel las mujeres de los Madianitas, y sus chiquitos y todas sus bestias, y todos sus ganados; y arrebataron toda su hacienda.
Numbers 31:10 And after burning all their towns and all their tent-circles,	Números 31:10 Y abrasaron con fuego todas sus ciudades, aldeas y castillos.
Numbers 31:11 They went away with the goods they had taken, man and beast.	Números 31:11 Y tomaron todo el despojo, y toda la presa, así de hombres como de bestias.
Numbers 31:12 And the prisoners and the goods and everything they had taken, they took to Moses and Eleazar the priest and the people of Israel, to the tent-circle in the lowlands of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.	Números 31:12 Y trajeron á Moisés, y á Eleazar el sacerdote, y á la congregación de los hijos de Israel, los cautivos y la presa y los despojos, al campo en los llanos de Moab, que están junto al Jordán de Jericó.
Numbers 31:13 Then Moses and Eleazar the priest and the chiefs of the people went out to them before they had come into the tent-circle.	Números 31:13 Y salieron Moisés y Eleazar el sacerdote, y todos los príncipes de la congregación, á recibirlos fuera del campo.
Numbers 31:14 And Moses was angry with the chiefs of the army, the captains of thousands and the captains of hundreds who had come back from the war.	Números 31:14 Y enojóse Moisés contra los capitanes del ejército, contra los tribunos y centuriones que volvían de la guerra;
Numbers 31:15 And Moses said to them, Why have you kept all the women safe?	Números 31:15 Y díjoles Moisés: ¿Todas las mujeres habéis reservado?
Numbers 31:16 It was these who, moved by Balaam, were the cause of Israel's sin against the Lord in the question of Peor, because of which disease came on the people of the Lord.	Números 31:16 He aquí ellas fueron á los hijos de Israel, por consejo de Balaam, para causar prevaricación contra Jehová en el negocio de Peor; por lo que hubo mortandad en la congregación de Jehová.
Numbers 31:17 So now put every male child to death, and every woman who has had sex relations with a man.	Números 31:17 Matad pues ahora todos los varones entre los niños: matad también toda mujer que haya conocido varón carnalmente.
Numbers 31:18 But all the female children who have had no sex relations with men, you may keep for yourselves.	Números 31:18 Y todas las niñas entre las mujeres, que no hayan conocido ayuntamiento de varón, os reservaréis vivas.
Numbers 31:19 You yourselves will have to keep outside the tent-circle for seven days, anyone of you who has put any person to death or come near a dead body; and on the third day and on the seventh day make yourselves and your prisoners clean.	Números 31:19 Y vosotros quedaos fuera del campo siete días: y todos los que hubieren matado persona, y cualquiera que hubiere tocado muerto, os purificaréis al tercero y al séptimo día, vosotros y vuestros cautivos.
Numbers 31:20 And every bit of clothing, and anything made of leather or goats' hair or wood, you are to make clean.	Números 31:20 Asimismo purificaréis todo vestido, y toda prenda de pieles, y toda obra de pelos de cabra, y todo vaso de madera.
Numbers 31:21 Then Eleazar the priest said to the men of war who had been to the fight, This is the rule of the law which the Lord has given to Moses:	Números 31:21 Y Eleazar el sacerdote dijo á los hombres de guerra que venían de la guerra: Esta es la ordenanza de la ley que Jehová ha mandado á Moisés:
Numbers 31:22 But gold and silver and brass and iron and tin and lead,	Números 31:22 Ciertamente el oro, y la plata, metal, hierro, estaño, y plomo,
Numbers 31:23 And anything which may be heated, is to go through the fire and be made clean; but in addition it is to be put in the water of cleaning: and anything which may not go through the fire is to be put in the water.	Números 31:23 Todo lo que resiste el fuego, por fuego lo haréis pasar, y será limpio, bien que en las aguas de purificación habrá de purificarse: mas haréis pasar por agua todo lo que no aguanta el fuego.
Numbers 31:24 And on the seventh day, after washing your clothing, you will be clean, and then you may come into the tent-circle.	Números 31:24 Además lavaréis vuestros vestidos el séptimo día, y así seréis limpios; y después entraréis en el campo.
Numbers 31:25 And the Lord said to Moses,	Números 31:25 Y Jehová habló á Moisés, diciendo:
Numbers 31:26 Get an account of everything which was taken in the war, of man and of beast, you and Eleazar the priest and the heads of families of the people:	Números 31:26 Toma la cuenta de la presa que se ha hecho, así de las personas como de las bestias, tú y el sacerdote Eleazar, y las cabezas de los padres de la congregación:
Numbers 31:27 And let division be made of it into two parts, one for the men of war who went out to the fight, and one for all the people:	Números 31:27 Y partirás por mitad la presa entre los que pelearon, los que salieron á la guerra, y toda la congregación.
Numbers 31:28 And from the men of war who went out let there be offered to the Lord one out of every five hundred, from the persons, and from the oxen and asses and sheep:	Números 31:28 Y apartarás para Jehová el tributo de los hombres de guerra, que salieron á la guerra: de quinientos uno, así de las personas como de los bueyes, de los asnos, y de las ovejas:
Numbers 31:29 Take this from their part and give it to Eleazar the priest as an offering to be lifted up to the Lord.	Números 31:29 De la mitad de ellos lo tomarás; y darás á Eleazar el sacerdote la ofrenda de Jehová.
Numbers 31:30 And from the part given to the children of Israel, take one out of every fifty, from the persons, and from the oxen and asses and sheep, and give it to the Levites who have the care of the House of the Lord.	Números 31:30 Y de la mitad perteneciente á los hijos de Israel tomarás uno de cincuenta, de las personas, de los bueyes, de los asnos, y de las ovejas, de todo animal; y los darás á los Levitas, que tienen la guarda del tabernáculo de Jehová.
Numbers 31:31 So Eleazar and Moses did as the Lord had given orders to Moses.	Números 31:31 E hicieron Moisés y Eleazar el sacerdote como Jehová mandó á Moisés.
Numbers 31:32 Now the beasts taken, in addition to what the fighting-men took for themselves, were six hundred and seventy-five thousand sheep,	Números 31:32 Y fué la presa, el resto de la presa que tomaron los hombres de guerra, seiscientas y setenta y cinco mil ovejas,
Numbers 31:33 And seventy-two thousand oxen,	Números 31:33 Y setenta y dos mil bueyes,
Numbers 31:34 And sixty-one thousand asses;	Números 31:34 Y setenta y un mil asnos;
Numbers 31:35 And thirty-two thousand persons, that is, women who had never had sex relations with a man.	Números 31:35 Y en cuanto á personas, de mujeres que no habían conocido ayuntamiento de varón, en todas trenita y dos mil.
Numbers 31:36 And the half given as their part to the men who went to the war, was three hundred and thirty-seven thousand, five hundred sheep,	Números 31:36 Y la mitad, la parte de los que habían salido á la guerra, fué el número de trescientas treinta y siete mil y quinientas ovejas.
Numbers 31:37 Of which the Lord's part was six hundred and seventy-five.	Números 31:37 Y el tributo para Jehová de la ovejas, fué seiscientas setenta y cinco.
Numbers 31:38 The number of oxen was thirty-six thousand, of which the Lord's part was seventy-two;	Números 31:38 Y de los bueyes, treinta y seis mil: y de ellos el tributo para Jehová, setenta y dos.
Numbers 31:39 The number of asses was thirty thousand, five hundred, of which the Lord's part was sixty-one.	Números 31:39 Y de los asnos, treinta mil y quinientos: y de ellos el tributo para Jehová, setenta y uno.
Numbers 31:40 And the number of persons was sixteen thousand, of which the Lord's part was thirty-two persons.	Números 31:40 Y de las personas, diez y seis mil: y de ellas el tributo para Jehová, trteinta y dos personas.
Numbers 31:41 And Moses gave the Lord's part, lifted up as an offering, to Eleazar the priest, as the Lord had given orders to Moses.	Números 31:41 Y dió Moisés el tributo, por elevada ofrenda á Jehová, á Eleazar el sacerdote, como Jehová lo mandó á Moisés.
Numbers 31:42 And from the half given to the children of Israel, which Moses had kept separate from that given to the fighting-men,	Números 31:42 Y de la mitad para los hijos de Israel, que apartó Moisés de los hombres que habían ido á la guerra;
Numbers 31:43 (Now the people's half was three hundred and thirty-seven thousand, five hundred sheep,	Números 31:43 (La mitad para la congregación fué: de las ovejas, trescientas treinta y siete mil y quinientas;
Numbers 31:44 And thirty-six thousand oxen,	Números 31:44 Y de los bueyes, treinta y seis mil;
Numbers 31:45 And thirty thousand, five hundred asses,	Números 31:45 Y de los asnos, treinta mil y quinientos;
Numbers 31:46 And sixteen thousand persons;)	Números 31:46 Y de las personas, diez y seis mil:)
Numbers 31:47 Even from the children of Israel's half, Moses took one out of every fifty, men and beasts, and gave them to the Levites who had the care of the House of the Lord; as the Lord gave orders to Moses.	Números 31:47 De la mitad, pues, para los hijos de Israel tomó Moisés uno de cada cincuenta, así de las personas como de los animales, y diólos á los Levitas, que tenían la guarda del tabernáculo de Jehová; como Jehová lo había mandado á Moisés.
Numbers 31:48 Then the men in authority over the thousands of the army, the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, came to Moses,	Números 31:48 Y llegaron á Moisés los jefes de los millares de aquel ejército, los tribunos y centuriones;
Numbers 31:49 And said to him, Your servants have taken note of the number of all the fighting-men under our orders, and every one is present;	Números 31:49 Y dijeron á Moisés: Tus siervos han tomado razón de los hombres de guerra que están en nuestro poder, y ninguno ha faltado de nosotros.
Numbers 31:50 And we have here an offering for the Lord from what every man took in the war, ornaments of gold, leg-chains and arm-rings, finger-rings, ear-rings, and neck-ornaments, to make our souls free from sin before the Lord.	Números 31:50 Por lo cual hemos ofrecido á Jehová ofrenda, cada uno de lo que ha hallado, vasos de oro, brazaletes, manillas, anillos, zarcillos, y cadenas, para hacer expiación por nuestras almas delante de Jehová.
Numbers 31:51 So Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold from them, even all the worked ornaments.	Números 31:51 Y Moisés y el sacerdote Eleazar recibieron el oro de ellos, alhajas, todas elaboradas.
Numbers 31:52 And the gold which the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds gave, as an offering to be lifted up before the Lord, came to sixteen thousand, seven hundred and fifty shekels.	Números 31:52 Y todo el oro de la ofrenda que ofrecieron á Jehová de los tribunos y centuriones, fué diez y seis mil setecientos y cincuenta siclos.
Numbers 31:53 (For every man of the army had taken goods for himself in the war.)	Números 31:53 Los hombres del ejército habían pillado cada uno para sí.
Numbers 31:54 Then Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold given by the captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, and took it into the Tent of meeting, to be a sign in memory of the children of Israel before the Lord.	Números 31:54 Recibieron, pues, Moisés y el sacerdote Eleazar, el oro de los tribunos y centuriones, y trajéronlo al tabernáculo del testimonio, por memoria de los hijos de Israel delante de Jehová.
