| And he went again into the Synagogue; and there was a man there whose hand was dead. | Y OTRA vez entró en la sinagoga; y había allí un hombre que tenía una mano seca. |
| And they were watching him to see if he would make him well on the Sabbath day, so that they might have something against him. | Y le acechaban si en sábado le sanaría, para acusarle. |
| And he said to the man, Get up and come forward. | Entonces dijo al hombre que tenía la mano seca: Levántate en medio. |
| And he said to them, Is it right to do good on the Sabbath or to do evil? to give life or to put to death? But they said nothing. | Y les dice: ¿Es lícito hacer bien en sábado, ó hacer mal? ¿salvar la vida, ó quitarla? Mas ellos callaban. |
| And looking round on them he was angry, being sad because of their hard hearts; and he said to the man, Put out your hand. And he put it out, and his hand was made well. | Y mirándolos alrededor con enojo, condoleciéndose de la ceguedad de su corazón, dice al hombre: Extiende tu mano. Y la extendió, y su mano fué restituída sana. |
| And the Pharisees went out, and straight away made designs with the Herodians about how they might put him to death. | Entonces saliendo los Fariseos, tomaron consejo con los Herodianos contra él, para matarle. |
| And Jesus went away with his disciples to the sea, and a great number from Galilee came after him: and from Judaea, | Mas Jesús se apartó á la mar con sus discípulos: y le siguió gran multitud de Galilea, y de Judea. |
| And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and the other side of Jordan, and the country about Tyre and Sidon, a great number, hearing what great things he did, came to him. | Y de Jerusalem, y de Idumea, y de la otra parte del Jordán. Y los de alrededor de Tiro y de Sidón, grande multitud, oyendo cuán grandes cosas hacía, vinieron á él. |
| And he made a request to his disciples to have a little boat ready for him, so that he might not be crushed by the people; | Y dijo á sus discípulos que le estuviese siempre apercibida la barquilla, por causa del gentío, para que no le oprimiesen. |
| For he had made such a great number well that all those who were diseased were falling down before him for the purpose of touching him. | Porque había sanado á muchos; de manera que caían sobre él cuantos tenían plagas, por tocarle. |
| And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw him, went down before him, crying out, and saying, You are the Son of God. | Y los espíritus inmundos, al verle, se postraban delante de él, y daban voces, diciendo: Tú eres el Hijo de Dios. |
| And he gave them special orders not to say who he was. | Mas él les reñía mucho que no le manifestasen. |
| And he went up into the mountain, and sent for those whom it was his pleasure to have with him: and they went to him. | Y subió al monte, y llamó á sí á los que él quiso; y vinieron á él. |
| And he took twelve to be with him, so that he might send them out as preachers, | Y estableció doce, para que estuviesen con él, y para enviarlos á predicar. |
| And give them the power of driving out evil spirits: | Y que tuviesen potestad de sanar enfermedades, y de echar fuera demonios: |
| To Simon he gave the second name of Peter; | A Simón, al cual puso por nombre Pedro; |
| And to James, the son of Zebedee, and John, the brother of James, he gave the second name of Boanerges, which is, Sons of thunder: | Y á Jacobo, hijo de Zebedeo, y á Juan hermano de Jacobo; y les apellidó Boanerges, que es, Hijos del trueno; |
| And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James, the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Zealot; | Y á Andrés, y á Felipe, y á Bartolomé, y á Mateo, y á Tomas, y á Jacobo hijo de Alfeo, y á Tadeo, y á Simón el Cananita, |
| And Judas Iscariot, who was false to him. | Y á Judas Iscariote, el que le entregó. Y vinieron á casa. |
| And he went into a house. And the people came together again, so that they were not even able to take bread. | Y agolpóse de nuevo la gente, de modo que ellos ni aun podían comer pan. |
| And when his friends had news of it, they went out to get him, saying, He is off his head. | Y como lo oyeron los suyos, vinieron para prenderle: porque decían: Está fuera de sí. |
| And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem, said, He has Beelzebub, and, By the ruler of evil spirits he sends evil spirits out of men. | Y los escribas que habían venido de Jerusalem, decían que tenía á Beelzebub, y que por el príncipe de los demonios echaba fuera los demonios. |
| And turning to them, he said to them in the form of a story, How is it possible for Satan to put out Satan? | Y habiéndolos llamado, les decía en parábolas: ¿Cómo puede Satanás echar fuera á Satanás? |
| If there is division in a kingdom, that kingdom will come to destruction; | Y si algún reino contra sí mismo fuere dividido, no puede permanecer el tal reino. |
| And if there is division in a house, that house will come to destruction; | Y si alguna casa fuere dividida contra sí misma, no puede permanecer la tal casa. |
| And if Satan is at war with himself, and there is division in him, he will not keep his place but will come to an end. | Y si Satanás se levantare contra sí mismo, y fuere dividido, no puede permanecer; antes tiene fin. |
| But no one is able to go into the house of the strong man and take his goods, without first putting cords round the strong man, and then he will take his goods. | Nadie puede saquear las alhajas del valiente entrando en su casa, si antes no atare al valiente y entonces saqueará su casa. |
| Truly, I say to you, The sons of men will have forgiveness for all their sins and for all the evil words they say: | De cierto os digo que todos los pecados serán perdonados á los hijos de los hombres, y las blasfemias cualesquiera con que blasfemaren; |
| But whoever says evil things against the Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness, but the evil he has done will be with him for ever: | Mas cualquiera que blasfemare contra el Espíritu Santo, no tiene jamás perdón, mas está expuesto á eterno juicio. |
| Because they said, He has an unclean spirit. | Porque decían: Tiene espíritu inmundo. |
| And his mother and brothers came and were outside, and sent for him, requesting to see him. | Vienen después sus hermanos y su madre, y estando fuera, enviaron á él llamándole. |
| And a great number were seated round him; and they said to him, See, your mother and your brothers are outside looking for you. | Y la gente estaba sentada alrededor de él, y le dijeron: He aquí, tu madre y tus hermanos te buscan fuera. |
| And he said in answer, Who are my mother and my brothers? | Y él les respondió, diciendo: ¿Quién es mi madre y mis hermanos? |
| And looking round at those who were seated about him, he said, See, my mother and my brothers! | Y mirando á los que estaban sentados alrededor de él, dijo: He aquí mi madre y hermanos. |
| Whoever does God's pleasure, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. | Porque cualquiera que hiciere la voluntad de Dios, éste es mi hermano, y mi hermana, y mi madre. |
