Job 18:1 ^
Then Bildad the Shuhite made answer and said,
Job 18:1 ^
Y RESPONDIO Bildad Suhita, y dijo:
Job 18:2 ^
How long will it be before you have done talking? Get wisdom, and then we will say what is in our minds.
Job 18:2 ^
¿Cuándo pondréis fin á las palabras? Entended, y después hablemos.
Job 18:3 ^
Why do we seem as beasts in your eyes, and as completely without knowledge?
Job 18:3 ^
¿Por qué somos tenidos por bestias, Y en vuestros ojos somos viles?
Job 18:4 ^
But come back, now, come: you who are wounding yourself in your passion, will the earth be given up because of you, or a rock be moved out of its place?
Job 18:4 ^
Oh tú, que despedazas tu alma con tu furor, ¿Será dejada la tierra por tu causa, Y serán traspasadas de su lugar las peñas?
Job 18:5 ^
For the light of the sinner is put out, and the flame of his fire is not shining.
Job 18:5 ^
Ciertamente la luz de los impíos será apagada, Y no resplandecerá la centella de su fuego.
Job 18:6 ^
The light is dark in his tent, and the light shining over him is put out.
Job 18:6 ^
La luz se oscurecerá en su tienda, Y apagaráse sobre él su lámpara.
Job 18:7 ^
The steps of his strength become short, and by his design destruction overtakes him.
Job 18:7 ^
Los pasos de su pujanza serán acortados, Y precipitarálo su mismo consejo.
Job 18:8 ^
His feet take him into the net, and he goes walking into the cords.
Job 18:8 ^
Porque red será echada en sus pies, Y sobre red andará.
Job 18:9 ^
His foot is taken in the net; he comes into its grip.
Job 18:9 ^
Lazo prenderá su calcañar: Afirmaráse la trampa contra él.
Job 18:10 ^
The twisted cord is put secretly in the earth to take him, and the cord is placed in his way.
Job 18:10 ^
Su cuerda está escondida en la tierra, Y su torzuelo sobre la senda.
Job 18:11 ^
He is overcome by fears on every side, they go after him at every step.
Job 18:11 ^
De todas partes lo asombrarán temores, Y haránle huir desconcertado.
Job 18:12 ^
His strength is made feeble for need of food, and destruction is waiting for his falling footstep.
Job 18:12 ^
Su fuerza será hambrienta, Y á su lado estará aparejado quebrantamiento.
Job 18:13 ^
His skin is wasted by disease, and his body is food for the worst of diseases.
Job 18:13 ^
El primogénito de la muerte comerá los ramos de su piel, Y devorará sus miembros.
Job 18:14 ^
He is pulled out of his tent where he was safe, and he is taken away to the king of fears.
Job 18:14 ^
Su confianza será arrancada de su tienda, Y harále esto llevar al rey de los espantos.
Job 18:15 ^
In his tent will be seen that which is not his, burning stone is dropped on his house.
Job 18:15 ^
En su tienda morará como si no fuese suya: Piedra azufre será esparcida sobre su morada.
Job 18:16 ^
Under the earth his roots are dry, and over it his branch is cut off.
Job 18:16 ^
Abajo se secarán sus raíces, Y arriba serán cortadas sus ramas.
Job 18:17 ^
His memory is gone from the earth, and in the open country there is no knowledge of his name.
Job 18:17 ^
Su memoria perecerá de la tierra, Y no tendrá nombre por las calles.
Job 18:18 ^
He is sent away from the light into the dark; he is forced out of the world.
Job 18:18 ^
De la luz será lanzado á las tinieblas, Y echado fuera del mundo.
Job 18:19 ^
He has no offspring or family among his people, and in his living-place there is no one of his name.
Job 18:19 ^
No tendrá hijo ni nieto en su pueblo, Ni quien le suceda en sus moradas.
Job 18:20 ^
At his fate those of the west are shocked, and those of the east are overcome with fear.
Job 18:20 ^
Sobre su día se espantarán los por venir, Como ocupó el pavor á los que fueron antes.
Job 18:21 ^
Truly, these are the houses of the sinner, and this is the place of him who has no knowledge of God.
Job 18:21 ^
Ciertamente tales son las moradas del impío, Y este será el lugar del que no conoció á Dios.
