Isaiah 38:1 In those days Hezekiah was ill and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, came to him, and said to him, The Lord says, Put your house in order; for your death is near.	Isaías 38:1 EN aquellos días cayó Ezechîas enfermo para morir. Y vino á él Isaías profeta, hijo de Amoz, y díjole: Jehová dice así: Ordena tu casa, porque tú morirás, y no vivirás.
Isaiah 38:2 And Hezekiah, turning his face to the wall, made his prayer to the Lord, saying,	Isaías 38:2 Entonces volvió Ezechîas su rostro á la pared, é hizo oración á Jehová.
Isaiah 38:3 O Lord, keep in mind how I have been true to you with all my heart, and have done what is good in your eyes. And Hezekiah gave way to bitter weeping.	Isaías 38:3 Y dijo: Oh Jehová, ruégote te acuerdes ahora que he andado delante de ti en verdad y con íntegro corazón, y que he hecho lo que ha sido agradable delante de tus ojos. Y lloró Ezechîas con gran lloro.
Isaiah 38:4 Then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah, saying,	Isaías 38:4 Entonces fué palabra de Jehová á Isaías, diciendo:
Isaiah 38:5 Go to Hezekiah, and say, The Lord, the God of David, your father, says, Your prayer has come to my ears, and I have seen your weeping: see, I will give you fifteen more years of life.	Isaías 38:5 Ve, y di á Ezechîas: Jehová Dios de David tu padre dice así: Tu oración he oído, y visto tus lágrimas: he aquí que yo añado á tus días quince años.
Isaiah 38:6 And I will keep you and this town safe from the hands of the king of Assyria: and I will keep watch over this town.	Isaías 38:6 Y te libraré, y á esta ciudad, de mano del rey de Asiria; y á esta ciudad ampararé.
Isaiah 38:7 And Isaiah said, This is the sign the Lord will give you, that he will do what he has said:	Isaías 38:7 Y esto te será señal de parte de Jehová, que Jehová hará esto que ha dicho:
Isaiah 38:8 See, I will make the shade which has gone down on the steps of Ahaz with the sun, go back ten steps. So the shade went back the ten steps by which it had gone down.	Isaías 38:8 He aquí que yo vuelvo atrás la sombra de los grados, que ha descendido en el reloj de Achâz por el sol, diez grados. Y el sol fué tornado diez grados atrás, por los cuales había ya descendido.
Isaiah 38:9 The writing of Hezekiah, king of Judah, after he had been ill, and had got better from his disease.	Isaías 38:9 Escritura de Ezechîas rey de Judá, de cuando enfermó y sanó de su enfermedad.
Isaiah 38:10 I said, In the quiet of my days I am going down into the underworld: the rest of my years are being taken away from me.	Isaías 38:10 Yo dije: En el medio de mis días iré á las puertas del sepulcro: Privado soy del resto de mis años.
Isaiah 38:11 I said, I will not see the Lord, even the Lord in the land of the living: I will not see man again or those living in the world.	Isaías 38:11 Dije: No veré á JAH, á JAH en la tierra de los que viven: Ya no veré más hombre con los moradores del mundo.
Isaiah 38:12 My resting-place is pulled up and taken away from me like a herdsman's tent: my life is rolled up like a linen-worker's thread; I am cut off from the cloth on the frame: from day even to night you give me up to pain.	Isaías 38:12 Mi morada ha sido movida y traspasada de mí, como tienda de pastor. Como el tejedor corté mi vida; cortaráme con la enfermedad; Me consumirás entre el día y la noche.
Isaiah 38:13 I am crying out with pain till the morning; it is as if a lion was crushing all my bones.	Isaías 38:13 Contaba yo hasta la mañana. Como un león molió todos mis huesos: De la mañana á la noche me acabarás.
Isaiah 38:14 I make cries like a bird; I give out sounds of grief like a dove: my eyes are looking up with desire; O Lord, I am crushed, take up my cause.	Isaías 38:14 Como la grulla y como la golondrina me quejaba; Gemía como la paloma: alzaba en lo alto mis ojos: Jehová, violencia padezco; confórtame.
Isaiah 38:15 What am I to say? seeing that it is he who has done it: all my time of sleeping I am turning from side to side without rest.	Isaías 38:15 ¿Qué diré? El que me lo dijo, él mismo lo ha hecho. Andaré recapacitando en la amargura de mi alma todos los años de mi vida.
Isaiah 38:16 O Lord, for this cause I am waiting for you, give rest to my spirit: make me well again, and let me come back to life.	Isaías 38:16 Oh Señor, sobre ellos vivirán tus piedades, Y á todos diré consistir en ellas la vida de mi espíritu; Pues tú me restablecerás, y me harás que viva.
Isaiah 38:17 See, in place of peace my soul had bitter sorrow. but you have kept back my soul from the underworld; for you have put all my sins out of your memory.	Isaías 38:17 He aquí amargura grande me sobrevino en la paz: Mas á ti plugo librar mi vida del hoyo de corrupción. Porque echaste tras tus espaldas todos mis pecados.
Isaiah 38:18 For the underworld is not able to give you praise, death gives you no honour: for those who go down into the underworld there is no hope in your mercy.	Isaías 38:18 Porque el sepulcro no te celebrará, ni te alabará la muerte; Ni los que descienden al hoyo esperarán tu verdad.
Isaiah 38:19 The living, the living man, he will give you praise, as I do this day: the father will give the story of your mercy to his children.	Isaías 38:19 El que vive, el que vive, éste te confesará, como yo hoy: El padre hará notoria tu verdad á los hijos.
Isaiah 38:20 O Lord, quickly be my saviour; so we will make my songs to corded instruments all the days of our lives in the house of the Lord.	Isaías 38:20 Jehová para salvarme; Por tanto cantaremos nuestros salmos En la casa de Jehová todos los días de nuestra vida.
Isaiah 38:21 And Isaiah said, Let them take a cake of figs, and put it on the diseased place, and he will get well.	Isaías 38:21 Y había dicho Isaías: Tomen masa de higos, y pónganla en la llaga, y sanará.
Isaiah 38:22 And Hezekiah said, What is the sign that I will go up to the house of the Lord?	Isaías 38:22 Había asimismo dicho Ezechîas: ¿Qué señal tendré de que he de subir á la casa de Jehová?
