Psalms 1	Salmos 1
Psalms 1:1 Happy is the man who does not go in the company of sinners, or take his place in the way of evil-doers, or in the seat of those who do not give honour to the Lord.	Salmos 1:1 Bem-aventurado o homem que não anda segundo o conselho dos ímpios, nem se detém no caminho dos pecadores, nem se assenta na roda dos escarnecedores;
Psalms 1:2 But whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and whose mind is on his law day and night.	Salmos 1:2 antes tem seu prazer na lei do Senhor, e na sua lei medita de dia e noite.
Psalms 1:3 He will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, which gives its fruit at the right time, whose leaves will ever be green; and he will do well in all his undertakings.	Salmos 1:3 Pois será como a árvore plantada junto às correntes de águas, a qual dá o seu fruto na estação própria, e cuja folha não cai; e tudo quanto fizer prosperará.
Psalms 1:4 The evil-doers are not so; but are like the dust from the grain, which the wind takes away.	Salmos 1:4 Não são assim os ímpios, mas são semelhantes à moinha que o vento espalha.
Psalms 1:5 For this cause there will be no mercy for sinners when they are judged, and the evil-doers will have no place among the upright,	Salmos 1:5 Pelo que os ímpios não subsistirão no juízo, nem os pecadores na congregação dos justos;
Psalms 1:6 Because the Lord sees the way of the upright, but the end of the sinner is destruction.	Salmos 1:6 porque o Senhor conhece o caminho dos justos, mas o caminho dos ímpios conduz à ruína.
