Psalms 56:1 To the chief music-maker; put to Jonath elem rehokim. Of David. Michtam. When the Philistines took him in Gath.Have mercy on me, O God, for man is attempting my destruction; every day he makes cruel attacks against me.	Salmi 56:1 Per il Capo de’ musici. Su: "Colomba de’ terebinti lontani". Inno di Davide quando i Filistei lo presero in Gat. Abbi pietà di me, o Dio, poiché gli uomini anelano a divorarmi; mi tormentano con una guerra di tutti i giorni;
Psalms 56:2 My haters are ever ready to put an end to me; great numbers are lifting themselves up against me.	Salmi 56:2 i miei nemici anelano del continuo a divorarmi, poiché sono molti quelli che m’assalgono con superbia.
Psalms 56:3 In the time of my fear, I will have faith in you.	Salmi 56:3 Nel giorno in cui temerò, io confiderò in te.
Psalms 56:4 In God will I give praise to his word; in God have I put my hope; I will have no fear of what flesh may do to me.	Salmi 56:4 Coll’aiuto di Dio celebrerò la sua parola; in Dio confido, e non temerò; che mi può fare il mortale?
Psalms 56:5 Every day they make wrong use of my words; all their thoughts are against me for evil.	Salmi 56:5 Torcon del continuo le mie parole; tutti i lor pensieri son vòlti a farmi del male.
Psalms 56:6 They come together, they are waiting in secret places, they take note of my steps, they are waiting for my soul.	Salmi 56:6 Si radunano, stanno in agguato, spiano i miei passi, come gente che vuole la mia vita.
Psalms 56:7 By evil-doing they will not get free from punishment. In wrath, O God, let the peoples be made low.	Salmi 56:7 Rendi loro secondo la loro iniquità! O Dio, abbatti i popoli nella tua ira!
Psalms 56:8 You have seen my wanderings; put the drops from my eyes into your bottle; are they not in your record?	Salmi 56:8 Tu conti i passi della mia vita errante; raccogli le mie lacrime negli otri tuoi; non sono esse nel tuo registro?
Psalms 56:9 When I send up my cry to you, my haters will be turned back; I am certain of this, for God is with me.	Salmi 56:9 Nel giorno ch’io griderò, i miei nemici indietreggeranno. Questo io so: che Dio è per me.
Psalms 56:10 In God will I give praise to his word; in the Lord will I give praise to his word.	Salmi 56:10 Coll’aiuto di Dio celebrerò la sua parola; coll’aiuto dell’Eterno celebrerò la sua parola.
Psalms 56:11 In God have I put my hope, I will have no fear of what man may do to me.	Salmi 56:11 In Dio confido e non temerò; che mi può far l’uomo?
Psalms 56:12 I keep the memory of my debt to you, O God; I will give you the offerings of praise.	Salmi 56:12 Tengo presenti i voti che t’ho fatti, o Dio; io t’offrirò sacrifizi di lode;
Psalms 56:13 Because you have taken my soul from the power of death; and kept my feet from falling, so that I may be walking before God in the light of life.	Salmi 56:13 poiché tu hai riscosso l’anima mia dalla morte, hai guardato i miei piedi da caduta, ond’io cammini, al cospetto di Dio, nella luce de’ viventi.
