Psalms 33:1 Be glad in the Lord, O doers of righteousness; for praise is beautiful for the upright.	Salmi 33:1 Giubilate, o giusti, nell’Eterno; la lode s’addice agli uomini retti.
Psalms 33:2 Give praise to the Lord on the corded instrument; make melody to him with instruments of music.	Salmi 33:2 Celebrate l’Eterno con la cetra; salmeggiate a lui col saltèro a dieci corde.
Psalms 33:3 Make a new song to him; playing expertly with a loud noise.	Salmi 33:3 Cantategli un cantico nuovo, sonate maestrevolmente con giubilo.
Psalms 33:4 For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his works are certain.	Salmi 33:4 Poiché la parola dell’Eterno è diritta e tutta l’opera sua è fatta con fedeltà.
Psalms 33:5 His delight is in righteousness and wisdom; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.	Salmi 33:5 Egli ama la giustizia e l’equità; la terra è piena della benignità dell’Eterno.
Psalms 33:6 By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the army of heaven by the breath of his mouth.	Salmi 33:6 I cieli furon fatti dalla parola dell’Eterno, e tutto il loro esercito dal soffio della sua bocca.
Psalms 33:7 He makes the waters of the sea come together in a mass; he keeps the deep seas in store-houses.	Salmi 33:7 Egli adunò le acque del mare come in un mucchio; egli ammassò gli abissi in serbatoi.
Psalms 33:8 Let the earth be full of the fear of the Lord; let all the people of the world be in holy fear of him.	Salmi 33:8 Tutta la terra tema l’Eterno; lo paventino tutti gli abitanti del mondo.
Psalms 33:9 For he gave the word, and it was done; by his order it was fixed for ever.	Salmi 33:9 Poich’egli parlò, e la cosa fu; egli comandò e la cosa sorse.
Psalms 33:10 The Lord undoes the designs of the nations; he makes the thoughts of the peoples without effect.	Salmi 33:10 L’Eterno dissipa il consiglio delle nazioni, egli annulla i disegni dei popoli.
Psalms 33:11 The Lord's purpose is eternal, the designs of his heart go on through all the generations of man.	Salmi 33:11 Il consiglio dell’Eterno sussiste in perpetuo, i disegni del suo cuore durano d’età in età.
Psalms 33:12 Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he has taken for his heritage.	Salmi 33:12 Beata la nazione il cui Dio è l’Eterno; beato il popolo ch’egli ha scelto per sua eredità.
Psalms 33:13 The Lord is looking down from heaven; he sees all the sons of men;	Salmi 33:13 L’Eterno guarda dal cielo; egli vede tutti i figliuoli degli uomini:
Psalms 33:14 From his house he keeps watch on all who are living on the earth;	Salmi 33:14 dal luogo ove dimora, osserva tutti gli abitanti della terra;
Psalms 33:15 He makes all their hearts; their works are clear to him.	Salmi 33:15 egli, che ha formato il cuore di loro tutti, che considera tutte le opere loro.
Psalms 33:16 A king's salvation is not in the power of his army; a strong man does not get free by his great strength.	Salmi 33:16 Il re non è salvato per grandezza d’esercito; il prode non scampa per la sua gran forza.
Psalms 33:17 A horse is a false hope; his great power will not make any man free from danger.	Salmi 33:17 Il cavallo è cosa fallace per salvare; esso non può liberare alcuno col suo grande vigore.
Psalms 33:18 See, the eye of the Lord is on those in whose hearts is the fear of him, on those whose hope is in his mercy;	Salmi 33:18 Ecco, l’occhio dell’Eterno è su quelli che lo temono, su quelli che sperano nella sua benignità,
Psalms 33:19 To keep their souls from death; and to keep them living in time of need.	Salmi 33:19 per liberare l’anima loro dalla morte e per conservarli in vita in tempo di fame.
Psalms 33:20 Our souls are waiting for the Lord; he is our help and our salvation.	Salmi 33:20 L’anima nostra aspetta l’Eterno; egli è il nostro aiuto e il nostro scudo.
Psalms 33:21 For in him our hearts have joy; in his holy name is our hope.	Salmi 33:21 In lui, certo, si rallegrerà il cuor nostro, perché abbiam confidato nel nome della sua santità.
Psalms 33:22 Let your mercy be on us, O Lord, as we are waiting for you.	Salmi 33:22 La tua benignità, o Eterno, sia sopra noi, poiché noi abbiamo sperato in te.
