Psalms 137:1 By the rivers of Babylon we were seated, weeping at the memory of Zion,	Salmi 137:1 Là presso i fiumi di Babilonia, sedevamo ed anche piangevamo ricordandoci di Sion.
Psalms 137:2 Hanging our instruments of music on the trees by the waterside.	Salmi 137:2 Ai salici delle sponde avevamo appese le nostre cetre.
Psalms 137:3 For there those who had taken us prisoners made request for a song; and those who had taken away all we had gave us orders to be glad, saying, Give us one of the songs of Zion.	Salmi 137:3 Poiché là quelli che ci avevan menati in cattività ci chiedevano dei canti, quelli che ci predavano, delle canzoni d’allegrezza, dicendo: Cantateci delle canzoni di Sion!
Psalms 137:4 How may we give the Lord's song in a strange land?	Salmi 137:4 Come potremmo noi cantare le canzoni dell’Eterno in terra straniera?
Psalms 137:5 If I keep not your memory, O Jerusalem, let not my right hand keep the memory of its art.	Salmi 137:5 Se io ti dimentico, o Gerusalemme, dimentichi la mia destra le sue funzioni,
Psalms 137:6 If I let you go out of my thoughts, and if I do not put Jerusalem before my greatest joy, let my tongue be fixed to the roof of my mouth.	Salmi 137:6 resti la mia lingua attaccata al palato se io non mi ricordo di te, se non metto Gerusalemme al disopra d’ogni mia allegrezza.
Psalms 137:7 O Lord, keep in mind against the children of Edom the day of Jerusalem; how they said, Let it be uncovered, uncovered even to its base.	Salmi 137:7 Ricordati, o Eterno, dei figliuoli di Edom, che nel giorno di Gerusalemme dicevano: Spianatela, spianatela, fin dalle fondamenta!
Psalms 137:8 O daughter of Babylon, whose fate is destruction; happy is the man who does to you what you have done to us.	Salmi 137:8 O figliuola di Babilonia, che devi esser distrutta, beati chi ti darà la retribuzione del male che ci hai fatto!
Psalms 137:9 Happy is the man who takes your little ones, crushing them against the rocks.	Salmi 137:9 Beato chi piglierà i tuoi piccoli bambini e li sbatterà contro la roccia!
