Psalms 109:1 To the chief music-maker. Of David. A Psalm. God of my praise, let my prayer be answered;	Salmi 109:1 Per il Capo de’ musici. Salmo di Davide. O Dio della mia lode, non tacere,
Psalms 109:2 For the mouth of the sinner is open against me in deceit: his tongue has said false things against me.	Salmi 109:2 perché la bocca dell’empio e la bocca di frode si sono aperte contro di me; hanno parlato contro di me con lingua bugiarda.
Psalms 109:3 Words of hate are round about me; they have made war against me without cause.	Salmi 109:3 M’hanno assediato con parole d’odio, e m’hanno fatto guerra senza cagione.
Psalms 109:4 For my love they give me back hate; but I have given myself to prayer.	Salmi 109:4 Invece dell’amore che porto loro, mi sono avversari, ed io non faccio che pregare.
Psalms 109:5 They have put on me evil for good; hate in exchange for my love.	Salmi 109:5 Essi m’hanno reso male per bene, e odio per il mio amore.
Psalms 109:6 Put an evil man over him; and let one be placed at his right hand to say evil of him.	Salmi 109:6 Costituisci un empio su di lui, si tenga alla sua destra un avversario.
Psalms 109:7 When he is judged, let the decision go against him; and may his prayer become sin.	Salmi 109:7 Quando sarà giudicato, esca condannato, e la sua preghiera gli sia imputata come peccato.
Psalms 109:8 Let his life be short; let another take his position of authority.	Salmi 109:8 Siano i suoi giorni pochi: un altro prenda il suo ufficio.
Psalms 109:9 Let his children have no father, and his wife be made a widow.	Salmi 109:9 Siano i suoi figliuoli orfani e la sua moglie vedova.
Psalms 109:10 Let his children be wanderers, looking to others for their food; let them be sent away from the company of their friends.	Salmi 109:10 I suoi figliuoli vadan vagando e accattino, e cerchino il pane lungi dalle loro case in rovina.
Psalms 109:11 Let his creditor take all his goods; and let others have the profit of his work.	Salmi 109:11 Getti l’usuraio le sue reti su tutto ciò ch’egli ha, e gli stranieri faccian lor preda delle sue fatiche.
Psalms 109:12 Let no man have pity on him, or give help to his children when he is dead.	Salmi 109:12 Nessuno estenda a lui la sua benignità, e non vi sia chi abbia pietà de’ suoi orfani.
Psalms 109:13 Let his seed be cut off; in the coming generation let their name go out of memory.	Salmi 109:13 La sua progenie sia distrutta; nella seconda generazione sia cancellato il loro nome!
Psalms 109:14 Let the Lord keep in mind the wrongdoing of his fathers; and may the sin of his mother have no forgiveness.	Salmi 109:14 L’iniquità dei suoi padri sia ricordata dall’Eterno, e il peccato di sua madre non sia cancellato.
Psalms 109:15 Let them be ever before the eyes of the Lord, so that the memory of them may be cut off from the earth.	Salmi 109:15 Sian quei peccati del continuo davanti all’Eterno, e faccia egli sparire dalla terra la di lui memoria,
Psalms 109:16 Because he had no mercy, but was cruel to the low and the poor, designing the death of the broken-hearted.	Salmi 109:16 perch’egli non si è ricordato d’usar benignità, ma ha perseguitato il misero, il povero, il tribolato di cuore per ucciderlo.
Psalms 109:17 As he took pleasure in cursing, so let it come on him; and as he had no delight in blessing, let it be far from him.	Salmi 109:17 Egli ha amato la maledizione, e questa gli è venuta addosso; non si è compiaciuto nella benedizione, ed essa si tien lungi da lui.
Psalms 109:18 He put on cursing like a robe, and it has come into his body like water, and into his bones like oil.	Salmi 109:18 S’è vestito di maledizione come della sua veste, ed essa è penetrata come acqua, dentro di lui, e come olio, nelle sue ossa.
Psalms 109:19 Let it be to him as a robe which he puts on, let it be like a band which is round him at all times.	Salmi 109:19 Siagli essa come un vestito di cui si cuopra, come una cintura di cui sia sempre cinto!
Psalms 109:20 Let this be the reward given to my haters from the Lord, and to those who say evil of my soul.	Salmi 109:20 Tal sia, da parte dell’Eterno, la ricompensa dei miei avversari, e di quelli che proferiscono del male contro l’anima mia.
Psalms 109:21 But, O Lord God, give me your help, because of your name; take me out of danger, because your mercy is good.	Salmi 109:21 Ma tu, o Eterno, o Signore, opera in mio favore, per amor del tuo nome; poiché la tua misericordia è buona, liberami,
Psalms 109:22 For I am poor and in need, and my heart is wounded in me.	Salmi 109:22 perché io son misero e povero, e il mio cuore è piagato dentro di me.
Psalms 109:23 I am gone like the shade when it is stretched out: I am forced out of my place like a locust.	Salmi 109:23 Io me ne vo come l’ombra quando s’allunga, sono cacciato via come la locusta.
Psalms 109:24 My knees are feeble for need of food; there is no fat on my bones.	Salmi 109:24 Le mie ginocchia vacillano per i miei digiuni, e la mia carne deperisce e dimagra.
Psalms 109:25 As for me, they make sport of me; shaking their heads when they see me.	Salmi 109:25 Son diventato un obbrobrio per loro; quando mi vedono, scuotono il capo.
Psalms 109:26 Give me help, O Lord my God; in your mercy be my saviour;	Salmi 109:26 Aiutami, o Eterno, mio Dio, salvami secondo la tua benignità,
Psalms 109:27 So that they may see that it is the work of your hand; that you, Lord, have done it.	Salmi 109:27 e sappiano essi che questo è opera della tua mano, che sei tu, o Eterno, che l’hai fatto.
Psalms 109:28 They may give curses but you give blessing; when they come up against me, put them to shame; but let your servant be glad.	Salmi 109:28 Essi malediranno, ma tu benedirai; s’innalzeranno e resteran confusi, ma il tuo servitore si rallegrerà.
Psalms 109:29 Let my haters be clothed with shame, covering themselves with shame as with a robe.	Salmi 109:29 I miei avversari saranno vestiti di vituperio e avvolti nella loro vergogna come in un mantello!
Psalms 109:30 I will give the Lord great praise with my mouth; yes, I will give praise to him among all the people.	Salmi 109:30 Io celebrerò altamente l’Eterno con la mia bocca, lo loderò in mezzo alla moltitudine;
Psalms 109:31 For he is ever at the right hand of the poor, to take him out of the hands of those who go after his soul.	Salmi 109:31 poiché egli sta alla destra del povero per salvarlo da quelli che lo condannano a morte.
