Psalms 107	Salmi 107
Psalms 107:1 O give praise to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.	Salmi 107:1 Celebrate l’Eterno, perch’egli è buono, perché la sua benignità dura in eterno!
Psalms 107:2 Let those whose cause the Lord has taken up say so, his people whom he has taken out of the hands of their haters;	Salmi 107:2 Così dicano i riscattati dall’Eterno, ch’egli ha riscattati dalla mano dell’avversario
Psalms 107:3 Making them come together out of all the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.	Salmi 107:3 e raccolti da tutti i paesi, dal levante e dal ponente, dal settentrione e dal mezzogiorno.
Psalms 107:4 They were wandering in the waste places; they saw no way to a resting-place.	Salmi 107:4 Essi andavano errando nel deserto per vie desolate; non trovavano città da abitare.
Psalms 107:5 Their souls became feeble for need of food and drink.	Salmi 107:5 Affamati e assetati, l’anima veniva meno in loro.
Psalms 107:6 Then they sent up their cry to the Lord in their sorrow, and he gave them salvation out of all their troubles;	Salmi 107:6 Allora gridarono all’Eterno nella loro distretta, ed ei li trasse fuori dalle loro angosce.
Psalms 107:7 Guiding them in the right way, so that they might come into the town of their resting-place.	Salmi 107:7 Li condusse per la diritta via perché giungessero a una città da abitare.
Psalms 107:8 Let men give praise to the Lord for his mercy, and for the wonders which he does for the children of men!	Salmi 107:8 Celebrino l’Eterno per la sua benignità, e per le sue maraviglie a pro dei figliuoli degli uomini!
Psalms 107:9 He gives its desire to the unresting soul, so that it is full of good things.	Salmi 107:9 Poich’egli ha saziato l’anima assetata, ed ha ricolmato di beni l’anima affamata.
Psalms 107:10 Those who were in the dark, in the black night, in chains of sorrow and iron;	Salmi 107:10 Altri dimoravano in tenebre e in ombra di morte, prigionieri nell’afflizione e nei ferri,
Psalms 107:11 Because they went against the words of God, and gave no thought to the laws of the Most High:	Salmi 107:11 perché s’erano ribellati alle parole di Dio e aveano sprezzato il consiglio dell’Altissimo;
Psalms 107:12 So that he made their hearts weighted down with grief; they were falling, and had no helper.	Salmi 107:12 ond’egli abbatté il cuor loro con affanno; essi caddero, e non ci fu alcuno che li soccorresse.
Psalms 107:13 Then they sent up their cry to the Lord in their sorrow, and he gave them salvation out of all their troubles.	Salmi 107:13 Allora gridarono all’Eterno nella loro distretta, e li salvò dalle loro angosce;
Psalms 107:14 He took them out of the dark and the black night, and all their chains were broken.	Salmi 107:14 li trasse fuori dalle tenebre e dall’ombra di morte, e ruppe i loro legami.
Psalms 107:15 Let men give praise to the Lord for his mercy, and for the wonders which he does for the children of men!	Salmi 107:15 Celebrino l’Eterno per la sua benignità, e per le sue maraviglie a pro dei figliuoli degli uomini!
Psalms 107:16 The doors of brass are broken by his arm, and the bands of iron are cut in two.	Salmi 107:16 Poich’egli ha rotte le porte di rame, e ha spezzato le sbarre di ferro.
Psalms 107:17 Foolish men, because of their sins, and because of their wrongdoing, are troubled;	Salmi 107:17 Degli stolti erano afflitti per la loro condotta ribelle e per le loro iniquità.
Psalms 107:18 They are disgusted by all food, and they come near to the doors of death.	Salmi 107:18 L’anima loro abborriva ogni cibo, ed eran giunti fino alle porte della morte.
Psalms 107:19 Then they send up their cry to the Lord in their sorrow, and he gives them salvation out of all their troubles.	Salmi 107:19 Allora gridarono all’Eterno nella loro distretta, e li salvò dalle loro angosce.
Psalms 107:20 He sent his word and made them well, and kept them safe from the underworld.	Salmi 107:20 Mandò la sua parola e li guarì, e li scampò dalla fossa.
Psalms 107:21 Let men give praise to the Lord for his mercy, and for the wonders which he does for the children of men!	Salmi 107:21 Celebrino l’Eterno per la sua benignità, e per le sue maraviglie a pro dei figliuoli degli uomini!
Psalms 107:22 Let them make offerings of praise, giving news of his works with cries of joy.	Salmi 107:22 Offrano sacrifizi di lode, e raccontino le sue opere con giubilo!
Psalms 107:23 Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in the great waters;	Salmi 107:23 Ecco quelli che scendon nel mare su navi, che trafficano sulle grandi acque;
Psalms 107:24 They see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.	Salmi 107:24 essi veggono le opere dell’Eterno e le sue maraviglie nell’abisso.
Psalms 107:25 For at his word comes up the storm-wind, lifting high the waves.	Salmi 107:25 Poich’egli comanda e fa levare il vento di tempesta, che solleva le onde del mare.
Psalms 107:26 The sailors go up to heaven, and down into the deep; their souls are wasted because of their trouble.	Salmi 107:26 Salgono al cielo, scendono negli abissi; l’anima loro si strugge per l’angoscia.
Psalms 107:27 They are turned here and there, rolling like a man who is full of wine; and all their wisdom comes to nothing.	Salmi 107:27 Traballano e barcollano come un ubriaco, e tutta la loro saviezza vien meno.
Psalms 107:28 Then they send up their cry to the Lord in their sorrow, and he gives them salvation out of all their troubles.	Salmi 107:28 Ma, gridando essi all’Eterno nella loro distretta, egli li trae fuori dalle loro angosce.
Psalms 107:29 He makes the storm into a calm, so that the waves are at peace.	Salmi 107:29 Egli muta la tempesta in quiete, e le onde si calmano.
Psalms 107:30 Then they are glad, because the sea is quiet, and he takes them to the harbour of their desire.	Salmi 107:30 Essi si rallegrano perché si sono calmate, ed ei li conduce al porto da loro desiderato.
Psalms 107:31 Let men give praise to the Lord for his mercy, and for the wonders which he does for the children of men!	Salmi 107:31 Celebrino l’Eterno per la sua benignità, e per le sue maraviglie a pro dei figliuoli degli uomini!
Psalms 107:32 Let them give glory to him in the meeting of the people, and praise among the chiefs.	Salmi 107:32 Lo esaltino nell’assemblea del popolo, e lo lodino nel consiglio degli anziani!
Psalms 107:33 He makes rivers into waste places, and springs of water into a dry land;	Salmi 107:33 Egli cambia i fiumi in deserto, e le fonti dell’acqua in luogo arido;
Psalms 107:34 He makes a fertile country into a salt waste, because of the sins of those who are living there.	Salmi 107:34 la terra fertile in pianura di sale, per la malvagità de’ suoi abitanti.
Psalms 107:35 He makes a waste land into a place of water, and a dry land into water-springs.	Salmi 107:35 Egli cambia il deserto in uno stagno, e la terra arida in fonti d’acqua.
Psalms 107:36 And there he gives the poor a resting-place, so that they may make themselves a town;	Salmi 107:36 Egli fa quivi abitar gli affamati ed essi fondano una città da abitare.
Psalms 107:37 And put seed in the fields and make vine-gardens, to give them fruit.	Salmi 107:37 Vi seminano campi e vi piantano vigne, e ne raccolgono frutti abbondanti.
Psalms 107:38 He gives them his blessing so that they are increased greatly, and their cattle do not become less.	Salmi 107:38 Egli li benedice talché moltiplicano grandemente, ed egli non lascia scemare il loro bestiame.
Psalms 107:39 And when they are made low, and crushed by trouble and sorrow,	Salmi 107:39 Ma poi sono ridotti a pochi, umiliati per l’oppressione, per l’avversità e gli affanni.
Psalms 107:40 He puts an end to the pride of kings, and sends them wandering in the waste lands where there is no way.	Salmi 107:40 Egli spande lo sprezzo sui principi, e li fa errare per deserti senza via;
Psalms 107:41 But he puts the poor man on high from his troubles, and gives him families like a flock.	Salmi 107:41 ma innalza il povero traendolo dall’afflizione, e fa moltiplicar le famiglie a guisa di gregge.
Psalms 107:42 The upright see it and are glad: the mouth of the sinner is stopped.	Salmi 107:42 Gli uomini retti lo vedono e si rallegrano, ed ogni iniquità ha la bocca chiusa.
Psalms 107:43 Let the wise give thought to these things, and see the mercies of the Lord.	Salmi 107:43 Chi è savio osservi queste cose, e consideri la benignità dell’Eterno.
