Ezekiel 23:1 The word of the Lord came to me again, saying,	Ezechiele 23:1 E la parola dell’Eterno mi fu rivolta in questi termini:
Ezekiel 23:2 Son of man, there were two women, daughters of one mother:	Ezechiele 23:2 "Figliuol d’uomo, c’erano due donne, figliuole d’una medesima madre,
Ezekiel 23:3 They were acting like loose women in Egypt; when they were young their behaviour was loose: there their breasts were crushed, even the points of their young breasts were crushed.	Ezechiele 23:3 le quali si prostituirono in Egitto; si prostituirono nella loro giovinezza; là furon premute le loro mammelle, e la fu compresso il loro vergine seno.
Ezekiel 23:4 Their names were Oholah, the older, and Oholibah, her sister: and they became mine, and gave birth to sons and daughters. As for their names, Samaria is Oholah, and Jerusalem, Oholibah.	Ezechiele 23:4 I loro nomi sono: quello della maggiore, Ohola; quella della sorella, Oholiba. Esse divennero mie, e mi partorirono figliuoli e figliuole; e questi sono i loro veri nomi: Ohola è Samaria, Oholiba è Gerusalemme.
Ezekiel 23:5 And Oholah was untrue to me when she was mine; she was full of desire for her lovers, even for the Assyrians, her neighbours,	Ezechiele 23:5 E, mentre era mia, Ohola si prostituì, e s’appassionò per i suoi amanti,
Ezekiel 23:6 Who were clothed in blue, captains and rulers, all of them young men to be desired, horsemen seated on horses.	Ezechiele 23:6 gli Assiri, ch’eran suoi vicini, vestiti di porpora, governatori e magistrati, tutti bei giovani, cavalieri montati sui loro cavalli.
Ezekiel 23:7 And she gave her unclean love to them, all of them the noblest men of Assyria: and she made herself unclean with the images of all who were desired by her.	Ezechiele 23:7 Ella si prostituì con loro, ch’eran tutti il fior fiore de’ figliuoli d’Assiria, e si contaminò con tutti quelli per i quali s’appassionava, con tutti i loro idoli.
Ezekiel 23:8 And she has not given up her loose ways from the time when she was in Egypt; for when she was young they were her lovers, and by them her young breasts were crushed, and they let loose on her their unclean desire.	Ezechiele 23:8 Ed ella non abbandonò le prostituzioni che commetteva con gli Egiziani, quando questi giacevano con lei nella sua giovinezza, quando comprimevano il suo vergine seno e sfogavano su lei la loro lussuria.
Ezekiel 23:9 For this cause I gave her up into the hands of her lovers, into the hands of the Assyrians on whom her desire was fixed.	Ezechiele 23:9 Perciò io l’abbandonai in balìa de’ suoi amanti, in balìa de’ figliuoli d’Assiria, per i quali s’era appassionata.
Ezekiel 23:10 By these her shame was uncovered: they took her sons and daughters and put her to death with the sword: and she became a cause of wonder to women; for they gave her the punishment which was right.	Ezechiele 23:10 Essi scoprirono la sua nudità, presero i suoi figliuoli e le sue figliuole, e la uccisero con la spada. Ed ella diventò famosa fra le donne, e su di lei furono eseguiti dei giudizi.
Ezekiel 23:11 And her sister Oholibah saw this, but her desire was even more unmeasured, and her loose behaviour was worse than that of her sister.	Ezechiele 23:11 E la sua sorella vide questo, e nondimeno si corruppe più di lei ne’ suoi amori, e le sue prostituzioni sorpassarono le prostituzioni della sua sorella.
Ezekiel 23:12 She was full of desire for the Assyrians, captains and rulers, her neighbours, clothed in blue, horsemen going on horses, all of them young men to be desired.	Ezechiele 23:12 S’appassionò per i figliuoli d’Assiria, ch’eran suoi vicini, governatori e magistrati, vestiti pomposamente, cavalieri montati sui loro cavalli, tutti giovani e belli.
Ezekiel 23:13 And I saw that she had become unclean; the two of them went the same way.	Ezechiele 23:13 E io vidi ch’ella si contaminava; ambedue seguivano la medesima via;
Ezekiel 23:14 And her loose behaviour became worse; for she saw men pictured on a wall, pictures of the Chaldaeans painted in bright red,	Ezechiele 23:14 ma questa superò l’altra nelle sue prostituzioni; vide degli uomini disegnati sui muri, delle immagini di Caldei dipinte in rosso,
Ezekiel 23:15 With bands round their bodies and with head-dresses hanging round their heads, all of them looking like rulers, like the Babylonians, the land of whose birth is Chaldaea.	Ezechiele 23:15 con delle cinture ai fianchi, con degli ampi turbanti in capo, dall’aspetto di capitani, tutti quanti, ritratti de’ figliuoli di Babilonia, della Caldea, loro terra natia;
Ezekiel 23:16 And when she saw them she was full of desire for them, and sent servants to them in Chaldaea.	Ezechiele 23:16 e, come li vide, s’appassionò per loro e mandò ad essi de’ messaggeri, in Caldea.
Ezekiel 23:17 And the Babylonians came to her, into the bed of love, and made her unclean with their loose desire, and she became unclean with them, and her soul was turned from them.	Ezechiele 23:17 E i figliuoli di Babilonia vennero a lei, al letto degli amori, e la contaminarono con le loro fornicazioni; ed ella si contaminò con essi; poi, l’anima sua s’alienò da loro.
Ezekiel 23:18 So her loose behaviour was clearly seen and her shame uncovered: then my soul was turned from her as it had been turned from her sister.	Ezechiele 23:18 Ella mise a nudo le sue prostituzioni, mise a nudo la sua vergogna, e l’anima mia s’alienò da lei, come l’anima mia s’era alienata dalla sua sorella.
Ezekiel 23:19 But still she went on the more with her loose behaviour, keeping in mind the early days when she had been a loose woman in the land of Egypt.	Ezechiele 23:19 Nondimeno, ella moltiplicò le sue prostituzioni, ricordandosi dei giorni della sua giovinezza quando s’era prostituita nel paese d’Egitto;
Ezekiel 23:20 And she was full of desire for her lovers, whose flesh is like the flesh of asses and whose seed is like the seed of horses.	Ezechiele 23:20 e s’appassionò per quei fornicatori dalle membra d’asino, dall’ardor di stalloni.
Ezekiel 23:21 And she made the memory of the loose ways of her early years come back to mind, when her young breasts were crushed by the Egyptians.	Ezechiele 23:21 Così tu tornasti alle turpitudini della tua giovinezza, quando gli egiziani ti premevan le mammelle a motivo del tuo vergine seno.
Ezekiel 23:22 For this cause, O Oholibah, this is what the Lord has said: See, I will make your lovers come up against you, even those from whom your soul is turned away in disgust; and I will make them come up against you on every side;	Ezechiele 23:22 Perciò, Oholiba, così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: ecco, io susciterò contro di te i tuoi amanti, dai quali l’anima tua s’è alienata, li farò venire contro di te da tutte le parti:
Ezekiel 23:23 The Babylonians and all the Chaldaeans, Pekod and Shoa and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them: young men to be desired, captains and rulers all of them, and chiefs, her neighbours, all of them on horseback.	Ezechiele 23:23 i figliuoli di Babilonia e tutti i Caldei, principi, ricchi e grandi, e tutti i figliuoli d’Assiria con loro, giovani e belli, tutti governatori e magistrati, capitani e consiglieri, tutti montati sui loro cavalli.
Ezekiel 23:24 And they will come against you from the north on horseback, with war-carriages and a great band of peoples; they will put themselves in order against you with breastplate and body-cover and metal head-dress round about you: and I will make them your judges, and they will give their decision against you as seems right to them.	Ezechiele 23:24 Essi vengono contro di te con armi, carri e ruote, e con una folla di popoli; con targhe, scudi, ed elmi si schierano contro di te d’ogn’intorno; io rimetto in mano loro il giudizio, ed essi ti giudicheranno secondo le loro leggi.
Ezekiel 23:25 And my bitter feeling will be working against you, and they will take you in hand with passion; they will take away your nose and your ears, and the rest of you will be put to the sword: they will take your sons and daughters, and the rest of you will be burned up in the fire.	Ezechiele 23:25 Io darò corso alla mia gelosia contro di te, ed essi ti tratteranno con furore: ti taglieranno il naso e gli orecchi, e ciò che rimarrà di te cadrà per la spada; prenderanno i tuoi figliuoli e le tue figliuole e ciò che rimarrà di te sarà divorato dal fuoco.
Ezekiel 23:26 And they will take all your clothing off you and take away your ornaments.	Ezechiele 23:26 E ti spoglieranno delle tue vesti, e porteran via gli oggetti di cui t’adorni.
Ezekiel 23:27 So I will put an end to your evil ways and your loose behaviour which came from the land of Egypt: and your eyes will never be lifted up to them again, and you will have no more memory of Egypt.	Ezechiele 23:27 E io farò cessare la tua lussuria e la tua prostituzione cominciata nel paese d’Egitto, e tu non alzerai più gli occhi verso di loro, e non ti ricorderai più dell’Egitto.
Ezekiel 23:28 For this is what the Lord has said: See, I will give you up into the hands of those who are hated by you, into the hands of those from whom your soul is turned away in disgust:	Ezechiele 23:28 Poiché così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: Ecco, io ti do in mano di quelli che tu hai in odio, in mano di quelli, dai quali l’anima tua s’è alienata.
Ezekiel 23:29 And they will take you in hand with hate, and take away all the fruit of your work, and let you be unveiled and without clothing: and the shame of your loose behaviour will be uncovered, your evil designs and your loose ways.	Ezechiele 23:29 Essi ti tratteranno con odio, porteran via tutto il frutto del tuo lavoro, e ti lasceranno nuda e scoperta; e così saran messe allo scoperto la vergogna della tua impudicizia, la tua lussuria e le tue prostituzioni.
Ezekiel 23:30 They will do these things to you because you have been untrue to me, and have gone after the nations, and have become unclean with their images.	Ezechiele 23:30 Queste cose ti saran fatte, perché ti sei prostituita correndo dietro alle nazioni, perché ti sei contaminata coi loro idoli.
Ezekiel 23:31 You have gone in the way of your sister; and I will give her cup into your hand.	Ezechiele 23:31 Tu hai camminato per la via della tua sorella, e io ti metto in mano la sua coppa.
Ezekiel 23:32 This is what the Lord has said: You will take a drink from your sister's cup, which is deep and wide: you will be laughed at and looked down on, more than you are able to undergo.	Ezechiele 23:32 Così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: Tu berrai la coppa della tua sorella: coppa profonda ed ampia, sarai esposta alle risa ed alle beffe; la coppa è di gran capacità.
Ezekiel 23:33 You will be broken and full of sorrow, with the cup of wonder and destruction, with the cup of your sister Samaria.	Ezechiele 23:33 Tu sarai riempita d’ebbrezza e di dolore: e la coppa della desolazione e della devastazione, è la coppa della tua sorella Samaria.
Ezekiel 23:34 And after drinking it and draining it out, you will take the last drops of it to the end, pulling off your breasts: for I have said it, says the Lord.	Ezechiele 23:34 E tu la berrai, la vuoterai, ne morderai i pezzi, e te ne squarcerai il seno; poiché son io quegli che ho parlato, dice il Signore, l’Eterno.
Ezekiel 23:35 So this is what the Lord has said: Because you have not kept me in your memory, and because your back has been turned to me, you will even undergo the punishment of your evil designs and your loose ways.	Ezechiele 23:35 Perciò così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: Poiché tu m’hai dimenticato e m’hai buttato dietro le spalle, porta dunque anche tu, la pena della tua scelleratezza e delle tue prostituzioni".
Ezekiel 23:36 Then the Lord said to me: Son of man, will you be the judge of Oholibah? then make clear to her the disgusting things she has done.	Ezechiele 23:36 E l’Eterno mi disse: "Figliuol d’uomo non giudicherai tu Ohola e Oholiba? Dichiara loro dunque le loro abominazioni!
Ezekiel 23:37 For she has been false to me, and blood is on her hands, and with her images she has been untrue; and more than this, she made her sons, whom she had by me, go through the fire to them to be burned up.	Ezechiele 23:37 Poiché han commesso adulterio, han del sangue sulle mani; han commesso adulterio coi loro idoli, e gli stessi figliuoli che m’avean partorito, li ha fatti passare per il fuoco perché servissero loro di pasto.
Ezekiel 23:38 Further, this is what she has done to me: she has made my holy place unclean and has made my Sabbaths unclean.	Ezechiele 23:38 E anche questo m’hanno fatto: in quel medesimo giorno han contaminato il mio santuario, e han profanato i miei sabati.
Ezekiel 23:39 For when she had made an offering of her children to her images, she came into my holy place to make it unclean; see, this is what she has done inside my house.	Ezechiele 23:39 Dopo aver immolato i loro figliuoli ai loro idoli, in quello stesso giorno son venute nel mio santuario per profanarlo; ecco, quello che hanno fatto in mezzo alla mia casa.
Ezekiel 23:40 And she even sent for men to come from far away, to whom a servant was sent, and they came: for whom she was washing her body and painting her eyes and making herself fair with ornaments.	Ezechiele 23:40 E, oltre a questo, hanno mandato a cercare uomini che vengon da lontano; ad essi hanno invitato de’ messaggeri, ed ecco che son venuti. Per loro ti sei lavata, ti sei imbellettata gli occhi, ti sei parata d’ornamenti;
Ezekiel 23:41 And she took her seat on a great bed, with a table put ready before it on which she put my perfume and my oil.	Ezechiele 23:41 ti sei assisa sopra un letto sontuoso, davanti al quale era disposta una tavola; e su quella hai messo il mio profumo e il mio olio.
Ezekiel 23:42 ... and they put jewels on her hands and beautiful crowns on her head.	Ezechiele 23:42 E là s’udiva il rumore d’una folla sollazzante, e oltre alla gente presa tra la folla degli uomini, sono stati introdotti degli ubriachi venuti dal deserto, che han messo de’ braccialetti hai polsi delle due sorelle, e de’ magnifici diademi sul loro capo.
Ezekiel 23:43 Then I said ... now she will go on with her loose ways.	Ezechiele 23:43 E io ho detto di quella invecchiata negli adulteri: Anche ora commettono prostituzioni con lei!… proprio con lei!
Ezekiel 23:44 And they went in to her, as men go to a loose woman: so they went in to Oholibah, the loose woman.	Ezechiele 23:44 E si viene ad essa, come si va da una prostituta! Così si viene da Ohola e Oholiba, da queste donne scellerate.
Ezekiel 23:45 And upright men will be her judges, judging her as false wives and women who take lives are judged; because she has been untrue to me and blood is on her hands.	Ezechiele 23:45 Ma degli uomini giusti le giudicheranno, come si giudican le adultere, come si giudican le donne che spandono il sangue; perché sono adultere, e hanno del sangue sulle mani.
Ezekiel 23:46 For this is what the Lord has said: I will make a great meeting of the people come together against her, and will send on her shaking fear and take everything from her.	Ezechiele 23:46 Perciò così parla il Signore, l’Eterno: Sarà fatta salire contro di loro una moltitudine, ed esse saranno date in balìa del terrore e del saccheggio.
Ezekiel 23:47 And the meeting, after stoning her with stones, will put an end to her with their swords; they will put her sons and daughters to death and have her house burned up with fire.	Ezechiele 23:47 E quella moltitudine le lapiderà, e le farà a pezzi con la spada; ucciderà i loro figliuoli e le loro figliuole, e darà alle fiamme le loro case.
Ezekiel 23:48 And I will put an end to evil in all the land, teaching all women not to do as you have done.	Ezechiele 23:48 E io farò cessare la scelleratezza nel paese, e tutte le donne saranno ammaestrate a non commetter più turpitudini come le vostre.
Ezekiel 23:49 And I will send on you the punishment of your evil ways, and you will be rewarded for your sins with your images: and you will be certain that I am the Lord.	Ezechiele 23:49 E la vostra scelleratezza vi sarà fatta ricadere addosso, e voi porterete la pena della vostra idolatria, e conoscerete che io sono il Signore, l’Eterno".
