Ezekiel 19:1 Take up now a song of grief for the ruler of Israel, and say,	Ezechiele 19:1 E tu pronunzia una lamentazione sui principi d’Israele, e di’:
Ezekiel 19:2 What was your mother? Like a she-lion among lions, stretched out among the young lions she gave food to her little ones.	Ezechiele 19:2 Che cos’era tua madre? Una leonessa. Fra i leoni stava accovacciata; in mezzo ai leoncelli, allevava i suoi piccini.
Ezekiel 19:3 And one of her little ones came to growth under her care, and became a young lion, learning to go after beasts for his food; and he took men for his meat.	Ezechiele 19:3 Allevò uno de’ suoi piccini, il quale divenne un leoncello, imparò a sbranar la preda, e divorò gli uomini.
Ezekiel 19:4 And the nations had news of him; he was taken in the hole they had made: and, pulling him with hooks, they took him into the land of Egypt.	Ezechiele 19:4 Ma le nazioni ne sentiron parlare, ed ei fu preso nella lor fossa; lo menaron, con de’ raffi alle mascelle, nel paese d’Egitto.
Ezekiel 19:5 Now when she saw that her hope was made foolish and gone, she took another of her little ones and made him into a young lion.	Ezechiele 19:5 E quando ella vide che aspettava invano e la sua speranza era delusa, prese un altro de’ suoi piccini, e ne fece un leoncello.
Ezekiel 19:6 And he went up and down among the lions and became a young lion, learning to go after beasts for his food; and he took men for his meat.	Ezechiele 19:6 Questo andava e veniva fra i leoni, e divenne un leoncello; imparò a sbranar la preda, e divorò gli uomini.
Ezekiel 19:7 And he sent destruction on their widows and made waste their towns; and the land and everything in it became waste because of the loud sound of his voice.	Ezechiele 19:7 Devastò i loro palazzi, desolò le loro città; il paese, con tutto quello che conteneva, fu atterrito al rumore dei suoi ruggiti.
Ezekiel 19:8 Then the nations came against him from the kingdoms round about: their net was stretched over him and he was taken in the hole they had made.	Ezechiele 19:8 Ma da tutte le provincie all’intorno le nazioni gli diedero addosso, gli tesero contro le loro reti, e fu preso nella loro fossa.
Ezekiel 19:9 They made him a prisoner with hooks, and took him to the king of Babylon; they put him in the strong place so that his voice might be sounding no longer on the mountains of Israel.	Ezechiele 19:9 Lo misero in una gabbia con dei raffi alle mascelle e lo menarono al re di Babilonia; lo menarono in una fortezza, perché la sua voce non fosse più udita sui monti d’Israele.
Ezekiel 19:10 Your mother was in comparison like a vine, planted by the waters: she was fertile and full of branches because of the great waters.	Ezechiele 19:10 Tua madre era, come te, simile a una vigna, piantata presso alle acque; era feconda, ricca di tralci, per l’abbondanza dell’acque.
Ezekiel 19:11 And she had a strong rod for a rod of authority for the rulers, and it became tall among the clouds and it was seen lifted up among the number of its branches.	Ezechiele 19:11 aveva de’ rami forti, da servire di scettri a sovrani; s’ergeva nella sua sublimità, fra il folto dei tralci; era appariscente per la sua elevatezza, per la moltitudine de’ suoi sarmenti.
Ezekiel 19:12 But she was uprooted in burning wrath, and made low on the earth; the east wind came, drying her up, and her branches were broken off; her strong rod became dry, the fire made a meal of it.	Ezechiele 19:12 Ma è stata divelta con furore, e gettata a terra; il vento orientale ne ha seccato il frutto, i rami forti ne sono stati rotti e seccati, il fuoco li ha divorati.
Ezekiel 19:13 And now she is planted in the waste land, in a dry and unwatered country.	Ezechiele 19:13 Ed ora è piantata nel deserto in un suolo arido ed assetato;
Ezekiel 19:14 And fire has gone out from her rod, causing the destruction of her branches, so that there is no strong rod in her to be the ruler's rod of authority. This is a song of grief, and it was for a song of grief.	Ezechiele 19:14 un fuoco è uscito dal suo ramo fronzuto, e ne ha divorato il frutto, sì che non v’è in essa più ramo forte né scettro per governare". Questa la lamentazione, ch’è diventata una lamentazione.
