Genesis 25:1 And Abraham took another wife named Keturah.	Genesis 25:1 Abraham nahm wieder ein Weib, die hieß Ketura.
Genesis 25:2 She became the mother of Zimran and Jokshan and Medan and Midian and Ishbak and Shuah.	Genesis 25:2 Die gebar ihm Simran und Joksan, Medan und Midian, Jesbak und Suah.
Genesis 25:3 And Jokshan became the father of Sheba and Dedan. And from Dedan came the Asshurim and Letushim and Leummim.	Genesis 25:3 Joksan aber zeugte Saba und Dedan. Die Kinder aber von Dedan waren: die Assuriter, die Letusiter und die Leumiter.
Genesis 25:4 And from Midian came Ephah and Epher and Hanoch and Abida and Eldaah. All these were the offspring of Keturah.	Genesis 25:4 Die Kinder Midians waren: Epha, Epher, Henoch, Abida und Eldaa. Diese alle sind Kinder der Ketura.
Genesis 25:5 Now Abraham gave all his property to Isaac;	Genesis 25:5 Und Abraham gab all sein Gut Isaak.
Genesis 25:6 But to the sons of his other women he gave offerings, and sent them away, while he was still living, into the east country.	Genesis 25:6 Aber den Kindern, die er von den Kebsweibern hatte, gab er Geschenke und ließ sie von seinen Sohn Isaak ziehen, dieweil er noch lebte, gegen Aufgang in das Morgenland.
Genesis 25:7 Now the years of Abraham's life were a hundred and seventy-five.	Genesis 25:7 Das aber ist Abrahams Alter, das er gelebt hat: hundertfünfundsiebzig Jahre.
Genesis 25:8 And Abraham came to his death, an old man, full of years; and he was put to rest with his people.	Genesis 25:8 Und er nahm ab und starb in einem ruhigen Alter, da er alt und lebenssatt war, und ward zu seinem Volk gesammelt.
Genesis 25:9 And Isaac and Ishmael, his sons, put him to rest in the hollow rock of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron, the son of Zohar the Hittite, near Mamre;	Genesis 25:9 Und es begruben ihn die Söhne Isaak und Ismael in der zwiefachen Höhle auf dem Acker Ephrons, des Sohnes Zohars, des Hethiters, die da liegt Mamre gegenüber,
Genesis 25:10 The same field which Abraham got from the children of Heth: there Abraham was put to rest with Sarah, his wife.	Genesis 25:10 in dem Felde, das Abraham von den Kindern Heth gekauft hatte. Da ist Abraham begraben mit Sara, seinem Weibe.
Genesis 25:11 Now after the death of Abraham, the blessing of God was with Isaac, his son.	Genesis 25:11 Und nach dem Tode Abrahams segnete Gott Isaak, seinen Sohn. Und er wohnte bei dem Brunnen des Lebendigen und Sehenden.
Genesis 25:12 Now these are the generations of Ishmael, the son of Abraham, whose mother was Hagar the Egyptian, the servant of Sarah:	Genesis 25:12 Dies ist das Geschlecht Ismaels, des Sohnes Abrahams, den ihm Hagar gebar, die Magd Saras aus Ägypten;
Genesis 25:13 These are the names of the sons of Ishmael by their generations: Ishmael's first son was Nebaioth; then Kedar and Adbeel and Mibsam	Genesis 25:13 und das sind die Namen der Kinder Ismaels, davon ihre Geschlechter genannt sind: der erstgeborene Sohn Ismaels, Nebajoth, -Kedar, Abdeel, Mibsam,
Genesis 25:14 And Mishma and Dumah and Massa,	Genesis 25:14 Misma, Duma, Massa,
Genesis 25:15 Hadad and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:	Genesis 25:15 Hadar, Thema, Jetur, Naphis und Kedma.
Genesis 25:16 These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names in their towns and their tent-circles; twelve chiefs with their peoples.	Genesis 25:16 Dies sind die Kinder Ismaels mit ihren Namen in ihren Höfen und Zeltdörfern, zwölf Fürsten über ihre Leute.
Genesis 25:17 And the years of Ishmael's life were a hundred and thirty-seven: and he came to his end, and was put to rest with his people.	Genesis 25:17 Und das ist das Alter Ismaels: hundert und siebenunddreißig Jahre. Und er nahm ab und starb und ward gesammelt zu seinem Volk.
Genesis 25:18 And their country was from Havilah to Shur which is east of Egypt: they took their place to the east of all their brothers.	Genesis 25:18 Und sie wohnten von Hevila an bis gen Sur vor Ägypten und bis wo man nach Assyrien geht. Er ließ sich aber nieder gegen alle seine Brüder.
Genesis 25:19 Now these are the generations of Abraham's son Isaac:	Genesis 25:19 Dies ist das Geschlecht Isaaks, des Sohnes Abrahams: Abraham zeugte Isaak.
Genesis 25:20 Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Aramaean of Paddan-aram, and the sister of Laban the Aramaean, to be his wife.	Genesis 25:20 Isaak aber war vierzig Jahre alt, da er Rebekka zum Weibe nahm, die Tochter Bethuels, des Syrers, von Mesopotamien, Labans, des Syrers Schwester.
Genesis 25:21 Isaac made prayer to the Lord for his wife because she had no children; and the Lord gave ear to his prayer, and Rebekah became with child.	Genesis 25:21 Isaak aber bat den HERRN für sein Weib, denn sie war unfruchtbar. Und der HERR ließ sich erbitten, und Rebekka, sein Weib, ward schwanger.
Genesis 25:22 And the children were fighting together inside her, and she said, If it is to be so, why am I like this? So she went to put her question to the Lord.	Genesis 25:22 Und die Kinder stießen sich miteinander in ihrem Leibe. Da sprach sie: Da mir's also sollte gehen, warum bin ich schwanger geworden? und sie ging hin, den HERRN zu fragen.
Genesis 25:23 And the Lord said to her, Two nations are in your body, and two peoples will come to birth from you: the one will be stronger than the other, and the older will be the servant of the younger.	Genesis 25:23 Und der HERR sprach zu ihr: Zwei Völker sind in deinem Leibe, und zweierlei Leute werden sich scheiden aus deinem Leibe; und ein Volk wird dem andern Überlegen sein, und der Ältere wird dem Jüngeren dienen.
Genesis 25:24 And when the time came for her to give birth, there were two children in her body.	Genesis 25:24 Da nun die Zeit kam, daß sie gebären sollte, siehe, da waren Zwillinge in ihrem Leibe.
Genesis 25:25 And the first came out red from head to foot like a robe of hair, and they gave him the name of Esau.	Genesis 25:25 Der erste, der herauskam, war rötlich, ganz rauh wie ein Fell; und sie nannten ihn Esau.
Genesis 25:26 And after him, his brother came out, gripping Esau's foot; and he was named Jacob: Isaac was sixty years old when she gave birth to them.	Genesis 25:26 Darnach kam heraus sein Bruder, der hielt mit seiner Hand die Ferse des Esau; und sie hießen ihn Jakob. Sechzig Jahre alt war Isaak, da sie geboren wurden.
Genesis 25:27 And the boys came to full growth; and Esau became a man of the open country, an expert bowman; but Jacob was a quiet man, living in tents.	Genesis 25:27 Und da nun die Knaben groß wurden, ward Esau ein Jäger und streifte auf dem Felde, Jakob aber ein sanfter Mann und blieb in seinen Hütten.
Genesis 25:28 Now Isaac's love was for Esau, because Esau's meat was greatly to his taste: but Rebekah had more love for Jacob.	Genesis 25:28 Und Isaak hatte Esau lieb und aß gern von seinem Weidwerk; Rebekka aber hatte Jakob lieb.
Genesis 25:29 And one day Jacob was cooking some soup when Esau came in from the fields in great need of food;	Genesis 25:29 Und Jakob kochte ein Gericht. Da kam Esau vom Felde und war müde
Genesis 25:30 And Esau said to Jacob, Give me a full meal of that red soup, for I am overcome with need for food: for this reason he was named Edom.	Genesis 25:30 und sprach zu Jakob: Laß mich kosten das rote Gericht; denn ich bin müde. Daher heißt er Edom.
Genesis 25:31 And Jacob said, First of all give me your birthright.	Genesis 25:31 Aber Jakob sprach: Verkaufe mir heute deine Erstgeburt.
Genesis 25:32 And Esau said, Truly, I am at the point of death: what profit is the birthright to me?	Genesis 25:32 Esau antwortete: Siehe, ich muß doch sterben; was soll mir denn die Erstgeburt?
Genesis 25:33 And Jacob said, First of all give me your oath; and he gave him his oath, handing over his birthright to Jacob.	Genesis 25:33 Jakob sprach: So schwöre mir heute. Und er schwur ihm und verkaufte also Jakob seine Erstgeburt.
Genesis 25:34 Then Jacob gave him bread and soup; and he took food and drink and went away, caring little for his birthright.	Genesis 25:34 Da gab ihm Jakob Brot und das Linsengericht, und er aß und trank und stand auf und ging davon. Also verachtete Esau seine Erstgeburt.
