John 17:1 Jesus said these things; then, lifting his eyes to heaven, he said, Father, the time has now come; give glory to your Son, so that the Son may give glory to you:	Jean 17:1 Après avoir ainsi parlé, Jésus leva les yeux au ciel, et dit: Père, l`heure est venue! Glorifie ton Fils, afin que ton Fils te glorifie,
John 17:2 Even as you gave him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all those whom you have given to him.	Jean 17:2 selon que tu lui as donné pouvoir sur toute chair, afin qu`il accorde la vie éternelle à tous ceux que tu lui as donnés.
John 17:3 And this is eternal life: to have knowledge of you, the only true God, and of him whom you have sent, even Jesus Christ.	Jean 17:3 Or, la vie éternelle, c`est qu`ils te connaissent, toi, le seul vrai Dieu, et celui que tu as envoyé, Jésus Christ.
John 17:4 I have given you glory on the earth, having done all the work which you gave me to do.	Jean 17:4 Je t`ai glorifié sur la terre, j`ai achevé l`oeuvre que tu m`as donnée à faire.
John 17:5 And now, Father, let me have glory with you, even that glory which I had with you before the world was.	Jean 17:5 Et maintenant toi, Père, glorifie-moi auprès de toi-même de la gloire que j`avais auprès de toi avant que le monde fût.
John 17:6 I have given knowledge of your name to the men whom you gave me out of the world: yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your words.	Jean 17:6 J`ai fait connaître ton nom aux hommes que tu m`as donnés du milieu du monde. Ils étaient à toi, et tu me les as donnés; et ils ont gardé ta parole.
John 17:7 Now it is clear to them that whatever you have given to me comes from you:	Jean 17:7 Maintenant ils ont connu que tout ce que tu m`as donné vient de toi.
John 17:8 Because I have given them the words which you gave to me; and they have taken them to heart, and have certain knowledge that I came from you, and they have faith that you sent me.	Jean 17:8 Car je leur ai donné les paroles que tu m`as données; et ils les ont reçues, et ils ont vraiment connu que je suis sorti de toi, et ils ont cru que tu m`as envoyé.
John 17:9 My prayer is for them: my prayer is not for the world, but for those whom you have given to me, because they are yours	Jean 17:9 C`est pour eux que je prie. Je ne prie pas pour le monde, mais pour ceux que tu m`as donnés, parce qu`ils sont à toi; -
John 17:10 (All mine are yours, and yours are mine) and I have glory in them.	Jean 17:10 et tout ce qui est à moi est à toi, et ce qui est à toi est à moi; -et je suis glorifié en eux.
John 17:11 And now I will be no longer in the world, but they are in the world and I come to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name which you have given to me, so that they may be one even as we are one.	Jean 17:11 Je ne suis plus dans le monde, et ils sont dans le monde, et je vais à toi. Père saint, garde en ton nom ceux que tu m`as donnés, afin qu`ils soient un comme nous.
John 17:12 While I was with them I kept them safe in your name which you have given to me: I took care of them and not one of them has come to destruction, but only the son of destruction, so that the Writings might come true.	Jean 17:12 Lorsque j`étais avec eux dans le monde, je les gardais en ton nom. J`ai gardé ceux que tu m`as donnés, et aucun d`eux ne s`est perdu, sinon le fils de perdition, afin que l`Écriture fût accomplie.
John 17:13 And now I come to you; and these things I say in the world so that they may have my joy complete in them.	Jean 17:13 Et maintenant je vais à toi, et je dis ces choses dans le monde, afin qu`ils aient en eux ma joie parfaite.
John 17:14 I have given your word to them; and they are hated by the world, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.	Jean 17:14 Je leur ai donné ta parole; et le monde les a haïs, parce qu`ils ne sont pas du monde, comme moi je ne suis pas du monde.
John 17:15 My prayer is not that you will take them out of the world, but that you will keep them from the Evil One.	Jean 17:15 Je ne te prie pas de les ôter du monde, mais de les préserver du mal.
John 17:16 They are not of the world any more than I am of the world.	Jean 17:16 Ils ne sont pas du monde, comme moi je ne suis pas du monde.
John 17:17 Make them holy by the true word: your word is the true word.	Jean 17:17 Sanctifie-les par ta vérité: ta parole est la vérité.
John 17:18 Even as you have sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.	Jean 17:18 Comme tu m`as envoyé dans le monde, je les ai aussi envoyés dans le monde.
John 17:19 And for them I make myself holy, so that they may be made truly holy.	Jean 17:19 Et je me sanctifie moi-même pour eux, afin qu`eux aussi soient sanctifiés par la vérité.
John 17:20 My prayer is not for them only, but for all who will have faith in me through their word;	Jean 17:20 Ce n`est pas pour eux seulement que je prie, mais encore pour ceux qui croiront en moi par leur parole,
John 17:21 May they all be one! Even as you, Father, are in me and I am in you, so let them be in us, so that all men may come to have faith that you sent me.	Jean 17:21 afin que tous soient un, comme toi, Père, tu es en moi, et comme je suis en toi, afin qu`eux aussi soient un en nous, pour que le monde croie que tu m`as envoyé.
John 17:22 And the glory which you have given to me I have given to them, so that they may be one even as we are one;	Jean 17:22 Je leur ai donné la gloire que tu m`as donnée, afin qu`ils soient un comme nous sommes un, -
John 17:23 I in them, and you in me, so that they may be made completely one, and so that it may become clear to all men that you have sent me and that they are loved by you as I am loved by you.	Jean 17:23 moi en eux, et toi en moi, -afin qu`ils soient parfaitement un, et que le monde connaisse que tu m`as envoyé et que tu les as aimés comme tu m`as aimé.
John 17:24 Father, it is my desire that these whom you have given to me may be by my side where I am, so that they may see my glory which you have given to me, because you had love for me before the world came into being.	Jean 17:24 Père, je veux que là où je suis ceux que tu m`as donnés soient aussi avec moi, afin qu`ils voient ma gloire, la gloire que tu m`as donnée, parce que tu m`as aimé avant la fondation du monde.
John 17:25 Father of righteousness, I have knowledge of you, though the world has not; and to these it is clear that you sent me;	Jean 17:25 Père juste, le monde ne t`a point connu; mais moi je t`ai connu, et ceux-ci ont connu que tu m`as envoyé.
John 17:26 And I have given to them knowledge of your name, and will give it, so that the love which you have for me may be in them and I in them.	Jean 17:26 Je leur ai fait connaître ton nom, et je le leur ferai connaître, afin que l`amour dont tu m`as aimé soit en eux, et que je sois en eux.
