Psalms 143:1 A Psalm. Of David. Let my prayer come to you, O Lord; give ear to my requests for your grace; keep faith with me, and give me an answer in your righteousness;	Psaumes 143:1 Psaume de David. Éternel, écoute ma prière, prête l`oreille à mes supplications! Exauce-moi dans ta fidélité, dans ta justice!
Psalms 143:2 Let not your servant come before you to be judged; for no man living is upright in your eyes.	Psaumes 143:2 N`entre pas en jugement avec ton serviteur! Car aucun vivant n`est juste devant toi.
Psalms 143:3 The evil man has gone after my soul; my life is crushed down to the earth: he has put me in the dark, like those who have long been dead.	Psaumes 143:3 L`ennemi poursuit mon âme, Il foule à terre ma vie; Il me fait habiter dans les ténèbres, Comme ceux qui sont morts depuis longtemps.
Psalms 143:4 Because of this my spirit is overcome; and my heart is full of fear.	Psaumes 143:4 Mon esprit est abattu au dedans de moi, Mon coeur est troublé dans mon sein.
Psalms 143:5 I keep in mind the early days of the past, giving thought to all your acts, even to the work of your hands.	Psaumes 143:5 Je me souviens des jours d`autrefois, Je médite sur toutes tes oeuvres, Je réfléchis sur l`ouvrage de tes mains.
Psalms 143:6 My hands are stretched out to you: my soul is turned to you, like a land in need of water. (Selah.)	Psaumes 143:6 J`étends mes mains vers toi; Mon âme soupire après toi, comme une terre desséchée. Pause.
Psalms 143:7 Be quick in answering me, O Lord, for the strength of my spirit is gone: let me see your face, so that I may not be like those who go down into the underworld.	Psaumes 143:7 Hâte-toi de m`exaucer, ô Éternel! Mon esprit se consume. Ne me cache pas ta face! Je serais semblable à ceux qui descendent dans la fosse.
Psalms 143:8 Let the story of your mercy come to me in the morning, for my hope is in you: give me knowledge of the way in which I am to go; for my soul is lifted up to you.	Psaumes 143:8 Fais-moi dès le matin entendre ta bonté! Car je me confie en toi. Fais-moi connaître le chemin où je dois marcher! Car j`élève à toi mon âme.
Psalms 143:9 O Lord, take me out of the hands of my haters; my soul is waiting for you.	Psaumes 143:9 Délivre-moi de mes ennemis, ô Éternel! Auprès de toi je cherche un refuge.
Psalms 143:10 Give me teaching so that I may do your pleasure; for you are my God: let your good Spirit be my guide into the land of righteousness.	Psaumes 143:10 Enseigne-moi à faire ta volonté! Car tu es mon Dieu. Que ton bon esprit me conduise sur la voie droite!
Psalms 143:11 Give me life, O Lord, because of your name; in your righteousness take my soul out of trouble.	Psaumes 143:11 A cause de ton nom, Éternel, rends-moi la vie! Dans ta justice, retire mon âme de la détresse!
Psalms 143:12 And in your mercy put an end to my haters, and send destruction on all those who are against my soul; for I am your servant.	Psaumes 143:12 Dans ta bonté, anéantis mes ennemis, Et fais périr tous les oppresseurs de mon âme! Car je suis ton serviteur.
