Isaiah 54:1 Let your voice be loud in song, O woman without children; make melody and sounds of joy, you who did not give birth: for the children of her who had no husband are more than those of the married wife, says the Lord.	Esaïe 54:1 Réjouis-toi, stérile, toi qui n`enfantes plus! Fais éclater ton allégresse et ta joie, toi qui n`as plus de douleurs! Car les fils de la délaissée seront plus nombreux Que les fils de celle qui est mariée, dit l`Éternel.
Isaiah 54:2 Make wide the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your house be stretched out without limit: make your cords long, and your tent-pins strong.	Esaïe 54:2 Élargis l`espace de ta tente; Qu`on déploie les couvertures de ta demeure: Ne retiens pas! Allonge tes cordages, Et affermis tes pieux!
Isaiah 54:3 For I will make wide your limits on the right hand and on the left; and your seed will take the nations for a heritage, and make the waste towns full of people.	Esaïe 54:3 Car tu te répandras à droite et à gauche; Ta postérité envahira des nations, Et peuplera des villes désertes.
Isaiah 54:4 Have no fear; for you will not be shamed or without hope: you will not be put to shame, for the shame of your earlier days will go out of your memory, and you will no longer keep in mind the sorrows of your widowed years.	Esaïe 54:4 Ne crains pas, car tu ne seras point confondue; Ne rougis pas, car tu ne seras pas déshonorée; Mais tu oublieras la honte de ta jeunesse, Et tu ne te souviendras plus de l`opprobre de ton veuvage.
Isaiah 54:5 For your Maker is your husband; the Lord of armies is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is he who takes up your cause; he will be named the God of all the earth.	Esaïe 54:5 Car ton créateur est ton époux: L`Éternel des armées est son nom; Et ton rédempteur est le Saint d`Israël: Il se nomme Dieu de toute la terre;
Isaiah 54:6 For the Lord has made you come back to him, like a wife who has been sent away in grief of spirit; for one may not give up the wife of one's early days.	Esaïe 54:6 Car l`Éternel te rappelle comme une femme délaissée et au coeur attristé, Comme une épouse de la jeunesse qui a été répudiée, dit ton Dieu.
Isaiah 54:7 For a short time I gave you up; but with great mercies I will take you back again.	Esaïe 54:7 Quelques instants je t`avais abandonnée, Mais avec une grande affection je t`accueillerai;
Isaiah 54:8 In overflowing wrath my face was veiled from you for a minute, but I will have pity on you for ever, says the Lord who takes up your cause.	Esaïe 54:8 Dans un instant de colère, je t`avais un moment dérobé ma face, Mais avec un amour éternel j`aurai compassion de toi, Dit ton rédempteur, l`Éternel.
Isaiah 54:9 For this is like the days of Noah to me: for as I took an oath that the waters of Noah would never again go over the earth, so have I taken an oath that I will not again be angry with you, or say bitter words to you.	Esaïe 54:9 Il en sera pour moi comme des eaux de Noé: J`avais juré que les eaux de Noé ne se répandraient plus sur la terre; Je jure de même de ne plus m`irriter contre toi Et de ne plus te menacer.
Isaiah 54:10 For the mountains may be taken away, and the hills be moved out of their places, but my love will not be taken from you, or my agreement of peace broken, says the Lord, who has had mercy on you.	Esaïe 54:10 Quand les montagnes s`éloigneraient, Quand les collines chancelleraient, Mon amour ne s`éloignera point de toi, Et mon alliance de paix ne chancellera point, Dit l`Éternel, qui a compassion de toi.
Isaiah 54:11 O troubled one, storm-crushed, uncomforted! see, your stones will be framed in fair colours, and your bases will be sapphires.	Esaïe 54:11 Malheureuse, battue de la tempête, et que nul ne console! Voici, je garnirai tes pierres d`antimoine, Et je te donnerai des fondements de saphir;
Isaiah 54:12 I will make your towers of rubies, and your doors of carbuncles, and the wall round you will be of all sorts of beautiful stones.	Esaïe 54:12 Je ferai tes créneaux de rubis, Tes portes d`escarboucles, Et toute ton enceinte de pierres précieuses.
Isaiah 54:13 And all your builders will be made wise by the Lord; and great will be the peace of your children.	Esaïe 54:13 Tous tes fils seront disciples de l`Éternel, Et grande sera la postérité de tes fils.
Isaiah 54:14 All your rights will be made certain to you: have no fear of evil, and destruction will not come near you.	Esaïe 54:14 Tu seras affermie par la justice; Bannis l`inquiétude, car tu n`as rien à craindre, Et la frayeur, car elle n`approchera pas de toi.
Isaiah 54:15 See, they may be moved to war, but not by my authority: all those who come together to make an attack on you, will be broken against you.	Esaïe 54:15 Si l`on forme des complots, cela ne viendra pas de moi; Quiconque se liguera contre toi tombera sous ton pouvoir.
Isaiah 54:16 See, I have made the iron-worker, blowing on the burning coals, and making the instrument of war by his work; and I have made the waster for destruction.	Esaïe 54:16 Voici, j`ai créé l`ouvrier qui souffle le charbon au feu, Et qui fabrique une arme par son travail; Mais j`ai créé aussi le destructeur pour la briser.
Isaiah 54:17 No instrument of war which is formed against you will be of any use; and every tongue which says evil against you will be judged false. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness comes from me, says the Lord.	Esaïe 54:17 Toute arme forgée contre toi sera sans effet; Et toute langue qui s`élèvera en justice contre toi, Tu la condamneras. Tel est l`héritage des serviteurs de l`Éternel, Tel est le salut qui leur viendra de moi, Dit l`Éternel.
