| And the Lord said to Moses, | 耶 和 華 曉 諭 摩 西 說 、 |
| Make two silver horns of hammered work, to be used for getting the people together and to give the sign for the moving of the tents. | 你 要 用 銀 子 作 兩 枝 號 、 都 要 錘 出 來 的 、 用 以 招 聚 會 眾 、 並 叫 眾 營 起 行 。 |
| When they are sounded, all the people are to come together to you at the door of the Tent of meeting. | 吹 這 號 的 時 候 、 全 會 眾 要 到 你 那 裡 、 聚 集 在 會 幕 門 口 。 |
| If only one of them is sounded, then the chiefs, the heads of the thousands of Israel, are to come to you. | 若 單 吹 一 枝 、 眾 首 領 就 是 以 色 列 軍 中 的 統 領 、 要 聚 集 到 你 那 裡 。 |
| When a loud note is sounded, the tents placed on the east side are to go forward. | 吹 出 大 聲 的 時 候 、 東 邊 安 的 營 都 要 起 行 。 |
| At the sound of a second loud note, the tents on the south side are to go forward: the loud note will be the sign to go forward. | 二 次 吹 出 大 聲 的 時 候 、 南 邊 安 的 營 都 要 起 行 、 他 們 將 起 行 必 吹 出 大 聲 。 |
| But when all the people are to come together, the horn is to be sounded but not loudly. | 但 招 聚 會 眾 的 時 候 、 你 們 要 吹 號 、 卻 不 要 吹 出 大 聲 。 |
| The horns are to be sounded by the sons of Aaron, the priests; this is to be a law for you for ever, from generation to generation. | 亞 倫 子 孫 作 祭 司 的 要 吹 這 號 這 要 作 你 們 世 世 代 代 永 遠 的 定 例 。 |
| And if you go to war in your land against any who do you wrong, then let the loud note of the horn be sounded; and the Lord your God will keep you in mind and give you salvation from those who are against you. | 你 們 在 自 己 的 地 、 與 欺 壓 你 們 的 敵 人 打 仗 、 就 要 用 號 吹 出 大 聲 、 便 在 耶 和 華 你 們 的 神 面 前 得 蒙 紀 念 、 也 蒙 拯 救 脫 離 仇 敵 。 |
| And on days of joy and on your regular feasts and on the first day of every month, let the horns be sounded over your burned offerings and your peace-offerings; and they will put the Lord in mind of you: I am the Lord your God. | 在 你 們 快 樂 的 日 子 和 節 期 、 並 月 朔 、 獻 燔 祭 和 平 安 祭 、 也 要 吹 號 。 這 都 要 在 你 們 的 神 面 前 作 為 紀 念 ． 我 是 耶 和 華 你 們 的 神 。 |
| Now in the second year, on the twentieth day of the second month, the cloud was taken up from over the Tent of witness. | 第 二 年 二 月 二 十 日 、 雲 彩 從 法 櫃 的 帳 幕 收 上 去 。 |
| And the children of Israel went on their journey out of the waste land of Sinai; and the cloud came to rest in the waste land of Paran. | 以 色 列 人 就 按 站 往 前 行 、 離 開 西 乃 的 曠 野 、 雲 彩 停 住 在 巴 蘭 的 曠 野 。 |
| They went forward for the first time on their journey as the Lord had given orders by the hand of Moses. | 這 是 他 們 照 耶 和 華 藉 摩 西 所 吩 咐 的 、 初 次 往 前 行 。 |
| First the flag of the children of Judah went forward with their armies: and at the head of his army was Nahshon, the son of Amminadab. | 按 著 軍 隊 首 先 往 前 行 的 、 是 猶 大 營 的 纛 、 統 領 軍 隊 的 、 是 亞 米 拿 達 的 兒 子 拿 順 。 |
| And at the head of the army of the children of Issachar was Nethanel, the son of Zuar. | 統 領 以 薩 迦 支 派 軍 隊 的 、 是 蘇 押 的 兒 子 拿 坦 業 。 |
| And at the head of the army of the children of Zebulun was Eliab, the son of Helon. | 統 領 西 布 倫 支 派 軍 隊 的 是 希 倫 的 兒 子 以 利 押 。 |
| Then the House was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who were responsible for moving the House, went forward. | 帳 幕 拆 卸 、 革 順 的 子 孫 、 和 米 拉 利 的 子 孫 、 就 抬 著 帳 幕 先 往 前 行 。 |
| Then the flag of the children of Reuben went forward with their armies: and at the head of his army was Elizur, the son of Shedeur. | 按 著 軍 隊 往 前 行 的 是 流 便 營 的 纛 、 統 領 軍 隊 的 、 是 示 丟 珥 的 兒 子 以 利 蓿 。 |
| And at the head of the army of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai. | 統 領 西 緬 支 派 軍 隊 的 、 是 蘇 利 沙 代 的 兒 子 示 路 蔑 。 |
| At the head of the army of the children of Gad was Eliasaph, the son of Reuel. | 統 領 迦 得 支 派 軍 隊 的 、 是 丟 珥 的 兒 子 以 利 雅 薩 。 |
| Then the Kohathites went forward with the holy place; the others put up the House ready for their coming. | 哥 轄 人 抬 著 聖 物 先 往 前 行 、 他 們 未 到 以 前 抬 帳 幕 的 已 經 把 帳 幕 支 好 。 |
| Then the flag of the children of Ephraim went forward with their armies: and at the head of his army was Elishama, the son of Ammihud. | 按 著 軍 隊 往 前 行 的 是 以 法 蓮 營 的 纛 、 統 領 軍 隊 的 、 是 亞 米 忽 的 兒 子 以 利 沙 瑪 。 |
| At the head of the army of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur. | 統 領 瑪 拿 西 支 派 軍 隊 的 、 是 比 大 蓿 的 兒 子 迦 瑪 列 。 |
| At the head of the army of the children of Benjamin was Abidan, the son of Gideoni. | 統 領 便 雅 憫 支 派 軍 隊 的 是 基 多 尼 的 兒 子 亞 比 但 。 |
| And the flag of the children of Dan, whose tents were moved last of all, went forward with their armies: and at the head of his army was Ahiezer, the son of Ammishaddai. | 在 諸 營 末 後 的 是 但 營 的 纛 、 按 著 軍 隊 往 前 行 、 統 領 軍 隊 的 、 是 亞 米 沙 代 的 兒 子 亞 希 以 謝 。 |
| At the head of the army of the children of Asher was Pagiel, the son of Ochran. | 統 領 亞 設 支 派 軍 隊 的 是 俄 蘭 的 兒 子 帕 結 。 |
| And at the head of the army of the children of Naphtali was Ahira, the son of Enan. | 統 領 拿 弗 他 利 支 派 軍 隊 的 是 、 以 南 的 兒 子 亞 希 拉 。 |
| This was the order in which the children of Israel were journeying by armies; so they went forward. | 以 色 列 人 按 著 軍 隊 往 前 行 、 就 是 這 樣 。 |
| Then Moses said to Hobab, the son of his father-in-law Reuel the Midianite, We are journeying to that place of which the Lord has said, I will give it to you: so come with us, and it will be for your profit: for the Lord has good things in store for Israel. | 摩 西 對 他 岳 父 〔 或 作 內 兄 〕 米 甸 人 流 珥 的 兒 子 何 巴 說 、 我 們 要 行 路 往 耶 和 華 所 應 許 之 地 去 、 他 曾 說 、 我 要 將 這 地 賜 給 你 們 、 現 在 求 你 和 我 們 同 去 、 我 們 必 厚 待 你 、 因 為 耶 和 華 指 著 以 色 列 人 已 經 應 許 給 好 處 。 |
| But he said, I will not go with you, I will go back to the land of my birth and to my relations. | 何 巴 回 答 說 、 我 不 去 、 我 要 回 本 地 本 族 那 裡 去 。 |
| And he said, Do not go from us; for you will be eyes for us, guiding us to the right places in the waste land to put up our tents. | 摩 西 說 、 求 你 不 要 離 開 我 們 、 因 為 你 知 道 我 們 要 在 曠 野 安 營 、 你 可 以 當 作 我 們 的 眼 目 。 |
| And if you come with us, we will give you a part in whatever good the Lord does for us. | 你 若 和 我 們 同 去 、 將 來 耶 和 華 有 甚 麼 好 處 待 我 們 、 我 們 也 必 以 甚 麼 好 處 待 你 。 |
| So they went forward three days' journey from the mountain of the Lord; and the ark of the Lord's agreement went three days' journey before them, looking for a resting-place for them; | 以 色 列 人 離 開 耶 和 華 的 山 、 往 前 行 了 三 天 的 路 程 ． 耶 和 華 的 約 櫃 在 前 頭 行 了 三 天 的 路 程 、 為 他 們 尋 找 安 歇 的 地 方 。 |
| And by day the cloud of the Lord went over them, when they went forward from the place where they had put up their tents. | 他 們 拔 營 往 前 行 日 間 有 耶 和 華 的 雲 彩 在 他 們 以 上 。 |
| And when the ark went forward Moses said, Come up, O Lord, and let the armies of those who are against you be broken, and let your haters go in flight before you. | 約 櫃 往 前 行 的 時 候 、 摩 西 就 說 、 耶 和 華 阿 、 求 你 興 起 、 願 你 的 仇 敵 四 散 、 願 恨 你 的 人 從 你 面 前 逃 跑 。 |
| And when it came to rest, he said, Take rest, O Lord, and give a blessing to the families of Israel. | 約 櫃 停 住 的 時 候 、 他 就 說 、 耶 和 華 阿 、 求 你 回 到 以 色 列 的 千 萬 人 中 。 |
