Psalmen 73	Psalms 73
Psalmen 73:1 Israel hat dennoch Gott zum Trost, wer nur reines Herzens ist.	Psalms 73:1 Truly, God is good to Israel, even to such as are clean in heart.
Psalmen 73:2 Ich aber hätte schier gestrauchelt mit meinen Füßen; mein Tritt wäre beinahe geglitten.	Psalms 73:2 But as for me, my feet had almost gone from under me; I was near to slipping;
Psalmen 73:3 Denn es verdroß mich der Ruhmredigen, da ich sah, daß es den Gottlosen so wohl ging.	Psalms 73:3 Because of my envy of the men of pride, when I saw the well-being of the wrongdoers.
Psalmen 73:4 Denn sie sind in keiner Gefahr des Todes, sondern stehen fest wie ein Palast.	Psalms 73:4 For they have no pain; their bodies are fat and strong.
Psalmen 73:5 Sie sind nicht in Unglück wie andere Leute und werden nicht wie andere Menschen geplagt.	Psalms 73:5 They are not in trouble as others are; they have no part in the unhappy fate of men.
Psalmen 73:6 Darum muß ihr Trotzen köstlich Ding sein, und ihr Frevel muß wohl getan heißen.	Psalms 73:6 For this reason pride is round them like a chain; they are clothed with violent behaviour as with a robe.
Psalmen 73:7 Ihre Person brüstet sich wie ein fetter Wanst; sie tun, was sie nur gedenken.	Psalms 73:7 Their eyes are bursting with fat; they have more than their heart's desire.
Psalmen 73:8 Sie achten alles für nichts und reden übel davon und reden und lästern hoch her.	Psalms 73:8 Their thoughts are deep with evil designs; their talk from their seats of power is of cruel acts.
Psalmen 73:9 Was sie reden, daß muß vom Himmel herab geredet sein; was sie sagen, das muß gelten auf Erden.	Psalms 73:9 Their mouth goes up to heaven; their tongues go walking through the earth.
Psalmen 73:10 Darum fällt ihnen ihr Pöbel zu und laufen ihnen zu mit Haufen wie Wasser	Psalms 73:10 For this reason they are full of bread; and water is ever flowing for them.
Psalmen 73:11 und sprechen: "Was sollte Gott nach jenen fragen? Was sollte der Höchste ihrer achten?"	Psalms 73:11 And they say, How will the Lord see this? is there knowledge in the Most High?
Psalmen 73:12 Siehe, das sind die Gottlosen; die sind glücklich in der Welt und werden reich.	Psalms 73:12 Truly, such are the sinners; they do well at all times, and their wealth is increased.
Psalmen 73:13 Soll es denn umsonst sein, daß mein Herz unsträflich lebt und ich meine Hände in Unschuld wasche,	Psalms 73:13 As for me, I have made my heart clean to no purpose, washing my hands in righteousness;
Psalmen 73:14 ich bin geplagt täglich, und meine Strafe ist alle Morgen da?	Psalms 73:14 For I have been troubled all the day; every morning have I undergone punishment.
Psalmen 73:15 Ich hätte auch schier so gesagt wie sie; aber siehe, damit hätte ich verdammt alle meine Kinder, die je gewesen sind.	Psalms 73:15 If I would make clear what it is like, I would say, You are false to the generation of your children.
Psalmen 73:16 Ich dachte ihm nach, daß ich's begreifen möchte; aber es war mir zu schwer,	Psalms 73:16 When my thoughts were turned to see the reason of this, it was a weariness in my eyes;
Psalmen 73:17 bis daß ich ging in das Heiligtum Gottes und merkte auf ihr Ende.	Psalms 73:17 Till I went into God's holy place, and saw the end of the evil-doers.
Psalmen 73:18 Ja, du setzest sie aufs Schlüpfrige und stürzest sie zu Boden.	Psalms 73:18 You put their feet where there was danger of slipping, so that they go down into destruction.
Psalmen 73:19 Wie werden sie so plötzlich zunichte! Sie gehen unter und nehmen ein Ende mit Schrecken.	Psalms 73:19 How suddenly are they wasted! fears are the cause of their destruction.
Psalmen 73:20 Wie ein Traum, wenn einer erwacht, so machst du, HERR, ihr Bild in der Stadt verschmäht.	Psalms 73:20 As a dream when one is awake, they are ended; they are like an image gone out of mind when sleep is over.
Psalmen 73:21 Da es mir wehe tat im Herzen und mich stach in meine Nieren,	Psalms 73:21 My heart was made bitter, and I was pained by the bite of grief:
Psalmen 73:22 da war ich ein Narr und wußte nichts; ich war wie ein Tier vor dir.	Psalms 73:22 As for me, I was foolish, and without knowledge; I was like a beast before you.
Psalmen 73:23 Dennoch bleibe ich stets an dir; denn du hältst mich bei meiner rechten Hand,	Psalms 73:23 But still I am ever with you; you have taken me by my right hand.
Psalmen 73:24 du leitest mich nach deinem Rat und nimmst mich endlich in Ehren an.	Psalms 73:24 Your wisdom will be my guide, and later you will put me in a place of honour.
Psalmen 73:25 Wenn ich nur dich habe, so frage ich nichts nach Himmel und Erde.	Psalms 73:25 Whom have I in heaven but you? and having you I have no desire for anything on earth.
Psalmen 73:26 Wenn mir gleich Leib und Seele verschmachtet, so bist du doch, Gott, allezeit meines Herzens Trost und mein Teil.	Psalms 73:26 My flesh and my heart are wasting away: but God is the Rock of my heart and my eternal heritage.
Psalmen 73:27 Denn siehe, die von dir weichen, werden umkommen; du bringest um, alle die von dir abfallen.	Psalms 73:27 For those who are far away from you will come to destruction: you will put an end to all those who have not kept faith with you.
Psalmen 73:28 Aber das ist meine Freude, daß ich mich zu Gott halte und meine Zuversicht setzte auf den HERRN HERRN, daß ich verkündige all dein Tun.	Psalms 73:28 But it is good for me to come near to God: I have put my faith in the Lord God, so that I may make clear all his works.
