Psalmen 37	Psalms 37
Psalmen 37:1 Erzürne dich nicht über die Bösen; sei nicht neidisch auf die Übeltäter.	Psalms 37:1 Of David. Do not be angry because of the wrongdoers, or have envy of the workers of evil.
Psalmen 37:2 Denn wie das Gras werden sie bald abgehauen, und wie das grüne Kraut werden sie verwelken.	Psalms 37:2 For they will quickly be cut down like grass, and become dry like the green plants.
Psalmen 37:3 Hoffe auf den HERRN und tue Gutes; bleibe im Lande und nähre dich redlich.	Psalms 37:3 Have faith in the Lord, and do good; be at rest in the land, and go after righteousness.
Psalmen 37:4 Habe Deine Lust am HERRN; der wird dir geben, was dein Herz wünschet.	Psalms 37:4 So will your delight be in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires.
Psalmen 37:5 Befiehl dem HERRN deine Wege und hoffe auf ihn; er wird's wohl machen	Psalms 37:5 Put your life in the hands of the Lord; have faith in him and he will do it.
Psalmen 37:6 und wird deine Gerechtigkeit hervorbringen wie das Licht und dein Recht wie den Mittag.	Psalms 37:6 And he will make your righteousness be seen like the light, and your cause like the shining of the sun.
Psalmen 37:7 Sei stille dem HERRN und warte auf ihn; erzürne dich nicht über den, dem sein Mutwille glücklich fortgeht.	Psalms 37:7 Take your rest in the Lord, waiting quietly for him; do not be angry because of the man who does well in his evil ways, and gives effect to his bad designs.
Psalmen 37:8 Steh ab vom Zorn und laß den Grimm, erzürne dich nicht, daß du nicht auch übel tust.	Psalms 37:8 Put an end to your wrath and be no longer bitter; do not give way to angry feeling which is a cause of sin.
Psalmen 37:9 Denn die Bösen werden ausgerottet; die aber des HERRN harren, werden das Land erben.	Psalms 37:9 For the evil-doers will be cut off: but those who have faith in the Lord will have the earth for their heritage.
Psalmen 37:10 Es ist noch um ein kleines, so ist der Gottlose nimmer; und wenn du nach seiner Stätte sehen wirst, wird er weg sein.	Psalms 37:10 For in a short time the evil-doer will be gone: you will go searching for his place, and it will not be there.
Psalmen 37:11 Aber die Elenden werden das Land erben und Lust haben in großem Frieden.	Psalms 37:11 But the gentle will have the earth for their heritage; they will take their delight in peace without measure.
Psalmen 37:12 Der Gottlose droht dem Gerechten und beißt seine Zähne zusammen über ihn.	Psalms 37:12 The sinner has evil designs against the upright, lifting up the voice of wrath against him.
Psalmen 37:13 Aber der HERR lacht sein; denn er sieht, daß sein Tag kommt.	Psalms 37:13 He will be laughed at by the Lord, who sees that his day is coming.
Psalmen 37:14 Die Gottlosen ziehen das Schwert aus und spannen ihren Bogen, daß sie fällen den Elenden und Armen und schlachten die Frommen.	Psalms 37:14 The evil-doers have taken out their swords, their bows are bent; for crushing the poor, and to put to death those who are upright in their ways.
Psalmen 37:15 Aber ihr Schwert wird in ihr Herz gehen, und ihr Bogen wird zerbrechen.	Psalms 37:15 But their swords will be turned into their hearts, and their bows will be broken.
Psalmen 37:16 Das wenige, das ein Gerechter hat, ist besser als das große Gut vieler Gottlosen.	Psalms 37:16 The little which the good man has is better than the wealth of evil-doers.
Psalmen 37:17 Denn der Gottlosen Arm wird zerbrechen; aber der HERR erhält die Gerechten.	Psalms 37:17 For the arms of the evil-doers will be broken: but the Lord is the support of the good.
Psalmen 37:18 Der HERR kennt die Tage der Frommen, und ihr Gut wird ewiglich bleiben.	Psalms 37:18 The days of the upright are numbered by the Lord, and their heritage will be for ever.
Psalmen 37:19 Sie werden nicht zu Schanden in der bösen Zeit, und in der Teuerung werden sie genug haben.	Psalms 37:19 They will not be shamed in the evil time, and in the days when all are in need of food they will have enough.
Psalmen 37:20 Denn die Gottlosen werden umkommen; und die Feinde des HERRN, wenn sie gleich sind wie köstliche Aue, werden sie doch vergehen, wie der Rauch vergeht.	Psalms 37:20 But the wrongdoers will come to destruction, and the haters of the Lord will be like the fat of lambs, they will be burned up; they will go up in smoke, and never again be seen.
Psalmen 37:21 Der Gottlose borgt und bezahlt nicht; der Gerechte aber ist barmherzig und gibt.	Psalms 37:21 The sinner takes money and does not give it back; but the upright man has mercy, and gives to others.
Psalmen 37:22 Denn seine Gesegneten erben das Land; aber seine Verfluchten werden ausgerottet.	Psalms 37:22 Those who have his blessing will have the earth for their heritage; but those who are cursed by him will be cut off.
Psalmen 37:23 Von dem HERRN wird solches Mannes Gang gefördert, und er hat Lust an seinem Wege.	Psalms 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he takes delight in his way.
Psalmen 37:24 Fällt er, so wird er nicht weggeworfen; denn der HERR hält ihn bei der Hand.	Psalms 37:24 Even if he has a fall he will not be without help: for the hand of the Lord is supporting him.
Psalmen 37:25 Ich bin jung gewesen und alt geworden und habe noch nie gesehen den Gerechten verlassen oder seinen Samen nach Brot gehen.	Psalms 37:25 I have been young, and now am old, but I have not seen the good man without help, or his children looking for bread.
Psalmen 37:26 Er ist allezeit barmherzig und leihet gerne, und sein Same wird gesegnet sein.	Psalms 37:26 All the day he is ready to have mercy and to give; his children are a blessing.
Psalmen 37:27 Laß vom Bösen und tue Gutes und bleibe wohnen immerdar.	Psalms 37:27 Be turned from evil, and do good; and your place will be for ever.
Psalmen 37:28 Denn der HERR hat das Recht lieb und verläßt seine Heiligen nicht; ewiglich werden sie bewahrt; aber der Gottlosen Same wird ausgerottet.	Psalms 37:28 For the Lord is a lover of righteousness, and takes care of his saints; they will be kept safe for ever; but the seed of the evil-doers will be cut off.
Psalmen 37:29 Die Gerechten erben das Land und bleiben ewiglich darin.	Psalms 37:29 The upright will have the earth for their heritage, and will go on living there for ever.
Psalmen 37:30 Der Mund des Gerechten redet die Weisheit, und seine Zunge lehrt das Recht.	Psalms 37:30 The mouth of the good man says words of wisdom; the talk of his tongue is of righteousness.
Psalmen 37:31 Das Gesetz seines Gottes ist in seinem Herzen; seine Tritte gleiten nicht.	Psalms 37:31 The law of his God is in his heart; he will never make a false step.
Psalmen 37:32 Der Gottlose lauert auf den Gerechten und gedenkt ihn zu töten.	Psalms 37:32 The sinners are watching the upright man, desiring to put him to death.
Psalmen 37:33 Aber der HERR läßt ihn nicht in seinen Händen und verdammt ihn nicht, wenn er verurteilt wird.	Psalms 37:33 The Lord will not give him into their hands, or be against him when he is judged.
Psalmen 37:34 Harre auf den HERRN und halte seinen Weg, so wird er dich erhöhen, daß du das Land erbest; du wirst es sehen, daß die Gottlosen ausgerottet werden.	Psalms 37:34 Be waiting for the Lord, and keep his way; and you will be lifted up, and have the land for your heritage: when the evil-doers are cut off, you will see it.
Psalmen 37:35 Ich habe gesehen einen Gottlosen, der war trotzig und breitete sich aus und grünte wie ein Lorbeerbaum.	Psalms 37:35 I have seen the evil-doer in great power, covering the earth like a great tree.
Psalmen 37:36 Da man vorüberging, siehe, da war er dahin; ich fragte nach ihm, da ward er nirgend gefunden.	Psalms 37:36 But he came to an end, and there was no sign of him; I made a search for him and he was not there.
Psalmen 37:37 Bleibe fromm und halte dich recht; denn solchem wird's zuletzt wohl gehen.	Psalms 37:37 Give attention to the good man, and take note of the upright; because the end of that man is peace.
Psalmen 37:38 Die Übertreter aber werden vertilgt miteinander, und die Gottlosen werden zuletzt ausgerottet.	Psalms 37:38 But as for the sinners, they will be cut off together; the end of the wrongdoers is destruction.
Psalmen 37:39 Aber der HERR hilft den Gerechten; der ist ihre Stärke in der Not.	Psalms 37:39 But the Lord is the saviour of the upright: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
Psalmen 37:40 Und der HERR wird ihnen beistehen und wird sie erretten; er wird sie von dem Gottlosen erretten und ihnen helfen; denn sie trauen auf ihn.	Psalms 37:40 And the Lord will be their help, and keep them safe: he will take them out of the hands of the evil-doers, and be their saviour, because they had faith in him.
