Psalmen 107	Psalms 107
Psalmen 107:1 Danket dem HERRN; denn er ist freundlich, und seine Güte währet ewiglich.	Psalms 107:1 O give praise to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.
Psalmen 107:2 So sollen sagen, die erlöst sind durch den HERRN, die er aus der Not erlöst hat	Psalms 107:2 Let those whose cause the Lord has taken up say so, his people whom he has taken out of the hands of their haters;
Psalmen 107:3 und die er aus den Ländern zusammengebracht hat vom Aufgang, vom Niedergang, von Mitternacht und vom Meer.	Psalms 107:3 Making them come together out of all the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.
Psalmen 107:4 Die irregingen in der Wüste, in ungebahntem Wege, und fanden keine Stadt, da sie wohnen konnten,	Psalms 107:4 They were wandering in the waste places; they saw no way to a resting-place.
Psalmen 107:5 hungrig und durstig, und ihre Seele verschmachtete;	Psalms 107:5 Their souls became feeble for need of food and drink.
Psalmen 107:6 die zum HERRN riefen in ihrer Not, und er errettete sie aus ihren Ängsten	Psalms 107:6 Then they sent up their cry to the Lord in their sorrow, and he gave them salvation out of all their troubles;
Psalmen 107:7 und führte sie einen richtigen Weg, daß sie gingen zur Stadt, da sie wohnen konnten:	Psalms 107:7 Guiding them in the right way, so that they might come into the town of their resting-place.
Psalmen 107:8 die sollen dem HERRN danken für seine Güte und für seine Wunder, die er an den Menschenkindern tut,	Psalms 107:8 Let men give praise to the Lord for his mercy, and for the wonders which he does for the children of men!
Psalmen 107:9 daß er sättigt die durstige Seele und füllt die hungrige Seele mit Gutem.	Psalms 107:9 He gives its desire to the unresting soul, so that it is full of good things.
Psalmen 107:10 Die da sitzen mußten in Finsternis und Dunkel, gefangen in Zwang und Eisen,	Psalms 107:10 Those who were in the dark, in the black night, in chains of sorrow and iron;
Psalmen 107:11 darum daß sie Gottes Geboten ungehorsam gewesen waren und das Gesetz des Höchsten geschändet hatten,	Psalms 107:11 Because they went against the words of God, and gave no thought to the laws of the Most High:
Psalmen 107:12 dafür ihr Herz mit Unglück geplagt werden mußte, daß sie dalagen und ihnen niemand half;	Psalms 107:12 So that he made their hearts weighted down with grief; they were falling, and had no helper.
Psalmen 107:13 die zum HERRN riefen in ihrer Not, und er half ihnen aus ihren Ängsten	Psalms 107:13 Then they sent up their cry to the Lord in their sorrow, and he gave them salvation out of all their troubles.
Psalmen 107:14 und führte sie aus der Finsternis und Dunkel und zerriß ihre Bande:	Psalms 107:14 He took them out of the dark and the black night, and all their chains were broken.
Psalmen 107:15 die sollen dem HERRN danken für seine Güte und für seine Wunder, die an den Menschenkindern tut,	Psalms 107:15 Let men give praise to the Lord for his mercy, and for the wonders which he does for the children of men!
Psalmen 107:16 daß er zerbricht eherne Türen und zerschlägt eiserne Riegel.	Psalms 107:16 The doors of brass are broken by his arm, and the bands of iron are cut in two.
Psalmen 107:17 Die Narren, so geplagt waren um ihrer Übertretung willen und um ihrer Sünden willen,	Psalms 107:17 Foolish men, because of their sins, and because of their wrongdoing, are troubled;
Psalmen 107:18 daß ihnen ekelte vor aller Speise und sie todkrank wurden;	Psalms 107:18 They are disgusted by all food, and they come near to the doors of death.
Psalmen 107:19 die riefen zum HERRN in ihrer Not, und er half ihnen aus ihren Ängsten,	Psalms 107:19 Then they send up their cry to the Lord in their sorrow, and he gives them salvation out of all their troubles.
Psalmen 107:20 er sandte sein Wort und machte sie gesund und errettete sie, daß sie nicht starben:	Psalms 107:20 He sent his word and made them well, and kept them safe from the underworld.
Psalmen 107:21 die sollen dem HERRN danken für seine Güte und für seine Wunder, die er an den Menschenkindern tut,	Psalms 107:21 Let men give praise to the Lord for his mercy, and for the wonders which he does for the children of men!
Psalmen 107:22 und Dank opfern und erzählen seine Werke mit Freuden.	Psalms 107:22 Let them make offerings of praise, giving news of his works with cries of joy.
Psalmen 107:23 Die mit Schiffen auf dem Meer fuhren und trieben ihren Handel in großen Wassern;	Psalms 107:23 Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in the great waters;
Psalmen 107:24 die des HERRN Werke erfahren haben und seine Wunder im Meer,	Psalms 107:24 They see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.
Psalmen 107:25 wenn er sprach und einen Sturmwind erregte, der die Wellen erhob,	Psalms 107:25 For at his word comes up the storm-wind, lifting high the waves.
Psalmen 107:26 und sie gen Himmel fuhren und in den Abgrund fuhren, daß ihre Seele vor Angst verzagte,	Psalms 107:26 The sailors go up to heaven, and down into the deep; their souls are wasted because of their trouble.
Psalmen 107:27 daß sie taumelten und wankten wie ein Trunkener und wußten keinen Rat mehr;	Psalms 107:27 They are turned here and there, rolling like a man who is full of wine; and all their wisdom comes to nothing.
Psalmen 107:28 die zum HERRN schrieen in ihrer Not, und er führte sie aus ihren Ängsten	Psalms 107:28 Then they send up their cry to the Lord in their sorrow, and he gives them salvation out of all their troubles.
Psalmen 107:29 und stillte das Ungewitter, daß die Wellen sich legten	Psalms 107:29 He makes the storm into a calm, so that the waves are at peace.
Psalmen 107:30 und sie froh wurden, daß es still geworden war und er sie zu Lande brachte nach ihrem Wunsch:	Psalms 107:30 Then they are glad, because the sea is quiet, and he takes them to the harbour of their desire.
Psalmen 107:31 die sollen dem HERRN danken für seine Güte und für seine Wunder, die er an den Menschenkindern tut,	Psalms 107:31 Let men give praise to the Lord for his mercy, and for the wonders which he does for the children of men!
Psalmen 107:32 und ihn bei der Gemeinde preisen und bei den Alten rühmen.	Psalms 107:32 Let them give glory to him in the meeting of the people, and praise among the chiefs.
Psalmen 107:33 Er machte Bäche trocken und ließ Wasserquellen versiegen,	Psalms 107:33 He makes rivers into waste places, and springs of water into a dry land;
Psalmen 107:34 daß ein fruchtbar Land zur Salzwüste wurde um der Bosheit willen derer, die darin wohnten.	Psalms 107:34 He makes a fertile country into a salt waste, because of the sins of those who are living there.
Psalmen 107:35 Er machte das Trockene wiederum wasserreich und im dürren Lande Wasserquellen	Psalms 107:35 He makes a waste land into a place of water, and a dry land into water-springs.
Psalmen 107:36 und hat die Hungrigen dahingesetzt, daß sie eine Stadt zurichten, da sie wohnen konnten,	Psalms 107:36 And there he gives the poor a resting-place, so that they may make themselves a town;
Psalmen 107:37 und Äcker besäen und Weinberge pflanzen möchten und die jährlichen Früchte gewönnen.	Psalms 107:37 And put seed in the fields and make vine-gardens, to give them fruit.
Psalmen 107:38 Und er segnete sie, daß sie sich sehr mehrten, und gab ihnen viel Vieh.	Psalms 107:38 He gives them his blessing so that they are increased greatly, and their cattle do not become less.
Psalmen 107:39 Sie waren niedergedrückt und geschwächt von dem Bösen, das sie gezwungen und gedrungen hatte.	Psalms 107:39 And when they are made low, and crushed by trouble and sorrow,
Psalmen 107:40 Er schüttete Verachtung auf die Fürsten und ließ sie irren in der Wüste, da kein Weg ist,	Psalms 107:40 He puts an end to the pride of kings, and sends them wandering in the waste lands where there is no way.
Psalmen 107:41 und schützte den Armen vor Elend und mehrte sein Geschlecht wie eine Herde.	Psalms 107:41 But he puts the poor man on high from his troubles, and gives him families like a flock.
Psalmen 107:42 Solches werden die Frommen sehen und sich freuen; und aller Bosheit wird das Maul gestopft werden.	Psalms 107:42 The upright see it and are glad: the mouth of the sinner is stopped.
Psalmen 107:43 Wer ist weise und behält dies? So werden sie merken, wie viel Wohltaten der HERR erzeigt.	Psalms 107:43 Let the wise give thought to these things, and see the mercies of the Lord.
