Markus 10:1 Und er machte sich auf und kam von dannen an die Örter des jüdischen Landes jenseit des Jordans. Und das Volk ging abermals in Haufen zu ihm, und wie seine Gewohnheit war, lehrte er sie abermals.	Mark 10:1 And he got up, and went into the country of Judaea on the other side of Jordan: and great numbers of people came together to him again; and, as was his way, he gave them teaching.
Markus 10:2 Und die Pharisäer traten zu ihm und fragten ihn, ob ein Mann sich scheiden möge von seinem Weibe; und versuchten ihn damit.	Mark 10:2 And Pharisees came to him, testing him with the question, Is it right for a man to put away his wife?
Markus 10:3 Er antwortete aber und sprach: Was hat euch Mose geboten?	Mark 10:3 And he said to them in answer, What did Moses say you were to do?
Markus 10:4 Sie sprachen; Mose hat zugelassen, einen Scheidebrief zu schreiben und sich zu scheiden.	Mark 10:4 And they said to him, Moses let us give her a statement in writing, and be free from her.
Markus 10:5 Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Um eures Herzens Härtigkeit willen hat er euch solches Gebot geschrieben;	Mark 10:5 But Jesus said to them, Because of your hard hearts he gave you this law.
Markus 10:6 aber von Anfang der Kreatur hat sie Gott geschaffen einen Mann und ein Weib.	Mark 10:6 But from the first, male and female made he them.
Markus 10:7 Darum wird der Mensch Vater und Mutter verlassen und wird seinem Weibe anhangen,	Mark 10:7 For this cause will a man go away from his father and mother, and be joined to his wife;
Markus 10:8 und werden die zwei ein Fleisch sein. So sind sie nun nicht zwei, sondern ein Fleisch.	Mark 10:8 And the two will become one flesh; so that they are no longer two, but one flesh.
Markus 10:9 Was denn Gott zusammengefügt hat, soll der Mensch nicht scheiden.	Mark 10:9 Let not that which has been joined together by God be parted by man.
Markus 10:10 Und daheim fragten ihn abermals seine Jünger darum.	Mark 10:10 And in the house the disciples put questions to him again about this thing.
Markus 10:11 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Wer sich scheidet von seinem Weibe und freit eine andere, der bricht die Ehe an ihr;	Mark 10:11 And he said to them, Whoever puts away his wife and takes another, is false to his wife;
Markus 10:12 und so sich ein Weib scheidet von ihrem Manne und freit einen anderen, die bricht ihre Ehe.	Mark 10:12 And if she herself puts away her husband and takes another, she is false to her husband.
Markus 10:13 Und sie brachten Kindlein zu ihm, daß er sie anrührte. Die Jünger aber fuhren die an, die sie trugen.	Mark 10:13 And they took to him little children, so that he might put his hands on them: and the disciples said sharp words to them.
Markus 10:14 Da es aber Jesus sah, ward er unwillig und sprach zu ihnen: Lasset die Kindlein zu mir kommen und wehret ihnen nicht; denn solcher ist das Reich Gottes.	Mark 10:14 And when Jesus saw it, he was angry, and said to them, Let the little children come to me, and do not keep them away; for of such is the kingdom of God.
Markus 10:15 Wahrlich ich sage euch: Wer das Reich Gottes nicht empfängt wie ein Kindlein, der wird nicht hineinkommen.	Mark 10:15 Truly I say to you, Whoever does not put himself under the kingdom of God like a little child, will not come into it at all.
Markus 10:16 Und er herzte sie und legte die Hände auf sie und segnete sie.	Mark 10:16 And he took them in his arms, and gave them a blessing, putting his hands on them.
Markus 10:17 Und da er hinausgegangen war auf den Weg, lief einer herzu, kniete, vor ihn und fragte ihn: Guter Meister, was soll ich tun, daß ich das ewige Leben ererbe?	Mark 10:17 And while he was going out into the way, a man came running to him, and went down on his knees, saying, Good Master, what have I to do so that I may have eternal life?
Markus 10:18 Aber Jesus sprach zu ihm: Was heißest du mich gut? Niemand ist gut denn der einige Gott.	Mark 10:18 And Jesus said to him, Why do you say I am good? no one is good but one, and that is God.
Markus 10:19 Du weißt ja die Gebote wohl: "Du sollst nicht ehebrechen; du sollst nicht töten; du sollst nicht stehlen; du sollst nicht falsch Zeugnis reden; du sollst niemand täuschen; ehre Vater und Mutter."	Mark 10:19 You have knowledge of what is said in the law, Do not put any one to death, Do not be untrue in married life, Do not take what is not yours, Do not give false witness, Do not get money by deceit, Give honour to your father and mother.
Markus 10:20 Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Meister, das habe ich alles gehalten von meiner Jugend auf.	Mark 10:20 And he said to him, Master, all these laws I have kept from the time when I was young.
Markus 10:21 Und Jesus sah ihn an und liebte ihn und sprach zu ihm: Eines fehlt dir. Gehe hin, verkaufe alles, was du hast, und gib's den Armen, so wirst du einen Schatz im Himmel haben, und komm, folge mir nach und nimm das Kreuz auf dich.	Mark 10:21 And Jesus, looking on him and loving him, said, There is one thing needed: go, get money for your goods, and give it to the poor, and you will have wealth in heaven: and come with me.
Markus 10:22 Er aber ward unmutig über die Rede und ging traurig davon; denn er hatte viele Güter.	Mark 10:22 But his face became sad at the saying, and he went away sorrowing: for he was one who had much property.
Markus 10:23 Und Jesus sah um sich und sprach zu seinen Jüngern: Wie schwer werden die Reichen in das Reich Gottes kommen!	Mark 10:23 And Jesus, looking round about, said to his disciples, How hard it is for those who have wealth to come into the kingdom of God!
Markus 10:24 Die Jünger aber entsetzten sich über seine Rede. Aber Jesus antwortete wiederum und sprach zu ihnen: Liebe Kinder, wie schwer ist's, daß die, so ihr Vertrauen auf Reichtum setzen, ins Reich Gottes kommen!	Mark 10:24 And the disciples were full of wonder at his words. But Jesus said to them again, Children, how hard it is for those who put faith in wealth to come into the kingdom of God!
Markus 10:25 Es ist leichter, daß ein Kamel durch ein Nadelöhr gehe, denn daß ein Reicher ins Reich Gottes komme.	Mark 10:25 It is simpler for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a man of wealth to come into the kingdom of God.
Markus 10:26 Sie entsetzten sich aber noch viel mehr und sprachen untereinander: Wer kann denn selig werden?	Mark 10:26 And they were greatly surprised, saying to him, Who then may have salvation?
Markus 10:27 Jesus aber sah sie an und sprach: Bei den Menschen ist's unmöglich, aber nicht bei Gott; denn alle Dinge sind möglich bei Gott.	Mark 10:27 Jesus, looking on them, said, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for all things are possible with God.
Markus 10:28 Da sagte Petrus zu ihm: Siehe, wir haben alles verlassen und sind dir nachgefolgt.	Mark 10:28 Peter said to him, See, we have given up everything, and come after you.
Markus 10:29 Jesus antwortete und sprach: Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Es ist niemand, so er verläßt Haus oder Brüder oder Schwestern oder Vater oder Mutter oder Weib oder Kind oder Äcker um meinetwillen und um des Evangeliums willen,	Mark 10:29 Jesus said, Truly I say to you, There is no man who has given up house, or brothers, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or land, because of me and the good news,
Markus 10:30 der nicht hundertfältig empfange: jetzt in dieser Zeit Häuser und Brüder und Schwestern und Mütter und Kinder und Äcker mitten unter Verfolgungen, und in der zukünftigen Welt das ewige Leben.	Mark 10:30 Who will not get a hundred times as much now in this time, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and land--though with great troubles; and, in the world to come, eternal life.
Markus 10:31 Viele aber werden die Letzten sein, die die Ersten sind, und die Ersten sein, die die Letzten sind.	Mark 10:31 But a great number who are first will be last: and those who are last will be first.
Markus 10:32 Sie waren aber auf dem Wege und gingen hinauf gen Jerusalem; und Jesus ging vor ihnen, und sie entsetzten sich, folgten ihm nach und fürchteten sich. Und Jesus nahm abermals zu sich die Zwölf und sagte ihnen, was ihm widerfahren würde:	Mark 10:32 And they were on the way, going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus was going before them: and they were full of wonder; but those who came after him were in fear. And again he took the twelve, and gave them word of the things which were to come on him,
Markus 10:33 Siehe, wir gehen hinauf gen Jerusalem, und des Menschen Sohn wird überantwortet werden den Hohenpriestern und Schriftgelehrten; und sie werden ihn verdammen zum Tode und überantworten den Heiden.	Mark 10:33 Saying, See, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man will be given up to the chief priests and the scribes; and they will give an order for his death, and will give him up to the Gentiles:
Markus 10:34 Die werden ihn verspotten und geißeln und verspeien und töten; und am dritten Tag wird er auferstehen.	Mark 10:34 And they will make sport of him, and put shame on him, and give him cruel blows, and will put him to death; and after three days he will come back from the dead.
Markus 10:35 Da gingen zu ihm Jakobus und Johannes, die Söhne des Zebedäus, und sprachen: Meister, wir wollen, daß du uns tuest, was wir dich bitten werden.	Mark 10:35 And there came to him James and John, the sons of Zebedee, saying to him, Master, will you give us whatever may be our request?
Markus 10:36 Er sprach zu ihnen: Was wollt ihr, daß ich euch tue?	Mark 10:36 And he said to them, What would you have me do for you?
Markus 10:37 Sie sprachen zu ihm: Gib uns, daß wir sitzen einer zu deiner Rechten und einer zu deiner Linken in deiner Herrlichkeit.	Mark 10:37 And they said to him, Let us be seated, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your glory.
Markus 10:38 Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Ihr wisset nicht, was ihr bittet. Könnt ihr den Kelch trinken, den ich trinke, und euch taufen lassen mit der Taufe, mit der ich getauft werde?	Mark 10:38 But Jesus said to them, You have no knowledge of what you are saying. Are you able to take of my cup? or to undergo the baptism which I am to undergo?
Markus 10:39 Sie sprachen zu ihm: Ja, wir können es wohl. Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Ihr werdet zwar den Kelch trinken, den ich trinke, und getauft werden mit der Taufe, mit der ich getauft werde;	Mark 10:39 And they said to him, We are able. And Jesus said to them, You will take of the cup from which I take; and the baptism which I am about to undergo you will undergo:
Markus 10:40 zu sitzen aber zu meiner Rechten und zu meiner Linken stehet mir nicht zu, euch zu geben, sondern welchen es bereitet ist.	Mark 10:40 But to be seated at my right hand or at my left is not for me to give: but it is for those for whom it has been made ready.
Markus 10:41 Und da das die Zehn hörten, wurden sie unwillig über Jakobus und Johannes.	Mark 10:41 And hearing this, the ten became very angry with James and John.
Markus 10:42 Aber Jesus rief sie zu sich und sprach zu ihnen: Ihr wisset, daß die weltlichen Fürsten herrschen und die Mächtigen unter ihnen haben Gewalt.	Mark 10:42 And Jesus made them come to him, and said to them, You see that those who are made rulers over the Gentiles are lords over them, and their great ones have authority over them.
Markus 10:43 Aber also soll es unter euch nicht sein. Sondern welcher will groß werden unter euch, der soll euer Diener sein;	Mark 10:43 But it is not so among you: but whoever has a desire to become great among you, let him be your servant:
Markus 10:44 und welcher unter euch will der Vornehmste werden, der soll aller Knecht sein.	Mark 10:44 And whoever has a desire to be first among you, let him be servant of all.
Markus 10:45 Denn auch des Menschen Sohn ist nicht gekommen, daß er sich dienen lasse, sondern daß er diene und gebe sein Leben zur Bezahlung für viele.	Mark 10:45 For truly the Son of man did not come to have servants, but to be a servant, and to give his life for the salvation of men.
Markus 10:46 Und sie kamen gen Jericho. Und da er aus Jericho ging, er und seine Jünger und ein großes Volk, da saß ein Blinder, Bartimäus, des Timäus Sohn, am Wege und bettelte.	Mark 10:46 And they came to Jericho: and when he was going out of Jericho, with his disciples and a great number of people, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind man, was seated by the wayside, with his hand out for money.
Markus 10:47 Und da er hörte, daß es Jesus von Nazareth war, fing er an, zu schreien und zu sagen: Jesu, du Sohn Davids, erbarme dich mein!	Mark 10:47 And when it came to his ears that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he gave a cry, and said, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me.
Markus 10:48 Und viele bedrohten ihn, er sollte stillschweigen. Er aber schrie viel mehr: Du Sohn Davids, erbarme dich mein!	Mark 10:48 And some of them, turning in protest, gave him an order to be quiet: but he went on crying out all the more, Son of David, have mercy on me.
Markus 10:49 Und Jesus stand still und ließ ihn rufen. Und sie riefen den Blinden und sprachen zu ihm: Sei getrost! stehe auf, er ruft dich!	Mark 10:49 And Jesus came to a stop and said, Let him come. And crying out to the blind man, they said to him, Be comforted: come, he has sent for you.
Markus 10:50 Und er warf sein Kleid von sich, stand auf und kam zu Jesu.	Mark 10:50 And he, putting off his coat, got up quickly, and came to Jesus.
Markus 10:51 Und Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Was willst du, daß ich dir tun soll? Der Blinde sprach zu ihm: Rabbuni, daß ich sehend werde.	Mark 10:51 And Jesus said to him, What would you have me do to you? And the blind man said, Master, make me able to see.
Markus 10:52 Jesus aber sprach zu ihm: Gehe hin; dein Glaube hat dir geholfen. Und alsbald ward er sehend und folgte ihm nach auf dem Wege.	Mark 10:52 And Jesus said to him, Go on your way; your faith has made you well. And straight away he was able to see, and went after him in the way.
