Deuteronomium 13:1 Wenn ein Prophet oder Träumer unter euch wird aufstehen und gibt dir ein Zeichen oder Wunder,	Deuteronomy 13:1 If ever you have among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams and he gives you a sign or a wonder,
Deuteronomium 13:2 und das Zeichen oder Wunder kommt, davon er dir gesagt hat, und er spricht: Laß uns andern Göttern folgen, die ihr nicht kennt, und ihnen dienen;	Deuteronomy 13:2 And the sign or the wonder takes place, and he says to you, Let us go after other gods, which are strange to you, and give them worship;
Deuteronomium 13:3 so sollst du nicht gehorchen den Worten des Propheten oder Träumers; denn der HERR, euer Gott, versucht euch, daß er erfahre, ob ihr ihn von ganzem Herzen liebhabt.	Deuteronomy 13:3 Then give no attention to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God is testing you, to see if all the love of your heart and soul is given to him.
Deuteronomium 13:4 Denn ihr sollt dem HERRN, eurem Gott, folgen und ihn fürchten und seine Gebote halten und seiner Stimme gehorchen und ihm dienen und ihm anhangen.	Deuteronomy 13:4 But keep on in the ways of the Lord your God, fearing him and keeping his orders and hearing his voice, worshipping him and being true to him.
Deuteronomium 13:5 Der Prophet aber oder der Träumer soll sterben, darum daß er euch von dem HERRN, eurem Gott, der euch aus Ägyptenland geführt und dich von dem Diensthause erlöst hat, abzufallen gelehrt und dich aus dem Wege verführt hat, den der HERR, dein Gott, geboten hat, darin zu wandeln, auf daß du das Böse von dir tust.	Deuteronomy 13:5 And that prophet or that dreamer of dreams is to be put to death; for his words were said with the purpose of turning you away from the Lord your God, who took you out of the land of Egypt and made you free from the prison-house; and of forcing you out of the way in which the Lord your God has given you orders to go. So you are to put away the evil from among you.
Deuteronomium 13:6 Wenn dich dein Bruder, deiner Mutter Sohn, oder dein Sohn oder deine Tochter oder das Weib in deinen Armen oder dein Freund, der dir ist wie dein Herz, heimlich überreden würde und sagen: Laß uns gehen und andern Göttern dienen! -die du nicht kennst noch deine Väter,	Deuteronomy 13:6 If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or your daughter or the wife of your heart, or the friend who is as dear to you as your life, working on you secretly says to you, Let us go and give worship to other gods, strange to you and to your fathers;
Deuteronomium 13:7 von den Göttern der Völker, die um euch her sind, sie seien dir nahe oder ferne, von einem Ende der Erde bis an das andere,	Deuteronomy 13:7 Gods of the peoples round about you, near or far, from one end of the earth to the other;
Deuteronomium 13:8 so willige nicht darein und gehorche ihm nicht. Auch soll dein Auge seiner nicht schonen, und sollst dich seiner nicht erbarmen noch ihn verbergen,	Deuteronomy 13:8 Do not be guided by him or give attention to him; have no pity on him or mercy, and give him no cover;
Deuteronomium 13:9 sondern sollst ihn erwürgen. Deine Hand soll die erste über ihm sein, daß man ihn töte, und darnach die Hand des ganzen Volks.	Deuteronomy 13:9 But put him to death without question; let your hand be the first stretched out against him to put him to death, and then the hands of all the people.
Deuteronomium 13:10 Man soll ihn zu Tode steinigen, denn er hat dich wollen verführen von dem HERRN, deinem Gott, der dich aus Ägyptenland, aus dem Diensthaus, geführt hat,	Deuteronomy 13:10 Let him be stoned with stones till he is dead; because it was his purpose to make you false to the Lord your God, who took you out of the land of Egypt, out of the prison-house.
Deuteronomium 13:11 auf daß ganz Israel höre und fürchte sich und man nicht mehr solch Übel vornehme unter euch.	Deuteronomy 13:11 And all Israel, hearing of it, will be full of fear, and no one will again do such evil as this among you.
Deuteronomium 13:12 Wenn du hörst von irgend einer Stadt, die dir der HERR, dein Gott, gegeben hat, darin zu wohnen, daß man sagt:	Deuteronomy 13:12 And if word comes to you, in one of the towns which the Lord your God is giving you for your resting-place,
Deuteronomium 13:13 Es sind etliche heillose Leute ausgegangen unter dir und haben die Bürger ihrer Stadt verführt und gesagt: Laßt uns gehen und andern Göttern dienen! -die ihr nicht kennt-	Deuteronomy 13:13 That good-for-nothing persons have gone out from among you, turning the people of their town from the right way and saying, Let us go and give worship to other gods, of whom you have no knowledge;
Deuteronomium 13:14 so sollst du sie fleißig suchen, forschen und fragen. Und so sich findet die Wahrheit, daß es gewiß also ist, daß der Greuel unter euch geschehen ist,	Deuteronomy 13:14 Then let a full search be made, and let questions be put with care; and if it is true and certain that such a disgusting thing has been done among you;
Deuteronomium 13:15 so sollst du die Bürger derselben Stadt schlagen mit des Schwertes Schärfe und sie verbannen mit allem, was darin ist, und ihr Vieh mit der Schärfe des Schwerts.	Deuteronomy 13:15 Then take up arms against the people of that town and give it up to the curse, with all its cattle and everything in it.
Deuteronomium 13:16 Und allen ihren Raub sollst du sammeln mitten auf die Gasse und mit Feuer verbrennen, die Stadt und allen ihren Raub miteinander, dem HERRN, deinem Gott, daß sie auf einem Haufen liege ewiglich und nie wieder gebaut werde.	Deuteronomy 13:16 And take all the goods into the middle of its open space, burning the town and all its property with fire as an offering to the Lord your God; it is to be a waste for ever; there is to be no more building there.
Deuteronomium 13:17 Und laß nichts von dem Bann an deiner Hand hangen, auf daß der HERR von dem Grimm seines Zorns abgewendet werde und gebe dir Barmherzigkeit und erbarme sich deiner und mehre dich, wie er den Vätern geschworen hat;	Deuteronomy 13:17 Keep not a thing of what is cursed for yourselves: so the Lord may be turned away from the heat of his wrath, and have mercy on you, and give you increase as he said in his oath to your fathers:
Deuteronomium 13:18 darum daß du der Stimme des HERRN, deines Gottes, gehorcht hast, zu halten alle seine Gebote, die ich dir heute gebiete, daß du tust, was recht ist vor den Augen des HERRN, deines Gottes.	Deuteronomy 13:18 So long as you give ear to the voice of the Lord your God, and keep all his orders which I give you today, and do what is right in the eyes of the Lord your God.
