Acts 8:1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And there arose on that day a great persecution against the church which was in Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.	Hechos 8:1 Y SAULO consentía en su muerte. Y en aquel día se hizo una grande persecución en la iglesia que estaba en Jerusalem; y todos fueron esparcidos por las tierras de Judea y de Samaria, salvo los apóstoles.
Acts 8:2 And devout men buried Stephen, and made great lamentation over him.	Hechos 8:2 Y llevaron á enterrar á Esteban varones piadosos, é hicieron gran llanto sobre él.
Acts 8:3 But Saul laid waste the church, entering into every house, and dragging men and women committed them to prison.	Hechos 8:3 Entonces Saulo asolaba la iglesia, entrando por las casas: y trayendo hombres y mujeres, los entregaba en la cárcel.
Acts 8:4 They therefore that were scattered abroad, went about preaching the word.	Hechos 8:4 Mas los que fueron esparcidos, iban por todas partes anunciando la palabra.
Acts 8:5 And Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and proclaimed unto them the Christ.	Hechos 8:5 Entonces Felipe, descendiendo á la ciudad de Samaria, les predicaba á Cristo.
Acts 8:6 And the multitudes gave heed with one accord unto the things that were spoken by Philip, when they heard, and saw the signs which he did.	Hechos 8:6 Y las gentes escuchaban atentamente unánimes las cosas que decía Felipe, oyendo y viendo las señales que hacía.
Acts 8:7 For [from] many of those that had unclean spirits, they came out, crying with a loud voice: and many that were palsied, and that were lame, were healed.	Hechos 8:7 Porque de muchos que tenían espíritus inmundos, salían éstos dando grandes voces; y muchos paralíticos y cojos eran sanados:
Acts 8:8 And there was much joy in that city.	Hechos 8:8 Así que había gran gozo en aquella ciudad.
Acts 8:9 But there was a certain man, Simon by name, who beforetime in the city used sorcery, and amazed the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:	Hechos 8:9 Y había un hombre llamado Simón, el cual había sido antes mágico en aquella ciudad, y había engañado la gente de Samaria, diciéndose ser algún grande:
Acts 8:10 to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is that power of God which is called Great.	Hechos 8:10 Al cual oían todos atentamente desde al más pequeño hasta el más grande, diciendo: Este es la gran virtud de Dios.
Acts 8:11 And they gave heed to him, because that of long time he had amazed them with his sorceries.	Hechos 8:11 Y le estaban atentos, porque con sus artes mágicas los había embelesado mucho tiempo.
Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching good tidings concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.	Hechos 8:12 Mas cuando creyeron á Felipe, que anunciaba el evangelio del reino de Dios y el nombre de Jesucristo, se bautizaban hombres y mujeres.
Acts 8:13 And Simon also himself believed: and being baptized, he continued with Philip; and beholding signs and great miracles wrought, he was amazed.	Hechos 8:13 El mismo Simón creyó también entonces, y bautizándose, se llegó á Felipe: y viendo los milagros y grandes maravillas que se hacían, estaba atónito.
Acts 8:14 Now when the apostles that were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:	Hechos 8:14 Y los apóstoles que estaban en Jerusalem, habiendo oído que Samaria había recibido la palabra de Dios, les enviaron á Pedro y á Juan:
Acts 8:15 who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit:	Hechos 8:15 Los cuales venidos, oraron por ellos, para que recibiesen el Espíritu Santo;
Acts 8:16 for as yet it was fallen upon none of them: only they had been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.	Hechos 8:16 (Porque aun no había descendido sobre ninguno de ellos, mas solamente eran bautizados en el nombre de Jesús.)
Acts 8:17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.	Hechos 8:17 Entonces les impusieron las manos, y recibieron el Espíritu Santo.
Acts 8:18 Now when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money,	Hechos 8:18 Y como vió Simón que por la imposición de las manos de los apóstoles se daba el Espíritu Santo, les ofreció dinero,
Acts 8:19 saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay my hands, he may receive the Holy Spirit.	Hechos 8:19 Diciendo: Dadme también á mí esta potestad, que á cualquiera que pusiere las manos encima, reciba el Espíritu Santo.
Acts 8:20 But Peter said unto him, Thy silver perish with thee, because thou hast thought to obtain the gift of God with money.	Hechos 8:20 Entonces Pedro le dijo: Tu dinero perezca contigo, que piensas que el don de Dios se gane por dinero.
Acts 8:21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right before God.	Hechos 8:21 No tienes tú parte ni suerte en este negocio; porque tu corazón no es recto delante de Dios.
Acts 8:22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray the Lord, if perhaps the thought of thy heart shall be forgiven thee.	Hechos 8:22 Arrepiéntete pues de esta tu maldad, y ruega á Dios, si quizás te será perdonado el pensamiento de tu corazón.
Acts 8:23 For I see that thou art in the gall of bitterness and in the bond of iniquity.	Hechos 8:23 Porque en hiel de amargura y en prisión de maldad veo que estás.
Acts 8:24 And Simon answered and said, Pray ye for me to the Lord, that none of the things which ye have spoken come upon me.	Hechos 8:24 Respondiendo entonces Simón, dijo: Rogad vosotros por mí al Señor, que ninguna cosa de estas que habéis dicho, venga sobre mí.
Acts 8:25 They therefore, when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.	Hechos 8:25 Y ellos, habiendo testificado y hablado la palabra de Dios, se volvieron á Jerusalem, y en muchas tierras de los Samaritanos anunciaron el evangelio.
Acts 8:26 But an angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza: the same is desert.	Hechos 8:26 Empero el ángel de Señor habló á Felipe, diciendo: Levántate y ve hacia el mediodía, al camino que desciende de Jerusalem á Gaza, el cual es desierto.
Acts 8:27 And he arose and went: and behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was over all her treasure, who had come to Jerusalem to worship;	Hechos 8:27 Entonces él se levantó, y fué: y he aquí un Etiope, eunuco, gobernador de Candace, reina de los Etiopes, el cual era puesto sobre todos sus tesoros, y había venido á adorar á Jerusalem,
Acts 8:28 and he was returning and sitting in his chariot, and was reading the prophet Isaiah.	Hechos 8:28 Se volvía sentado en su carro, y leyendo el profeta Isaías.
Acts 8:29 And the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.	Hechos 8:29 Y el Espíritu dijo á Felipe: Llégate, y júntate á este carro.
Acts 8:30 And Philip ran to him, and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?	Hechos 8:30 Y acudiendo Felipe, le oyó que leía el profeta Isaías, y dijo: Mas ¿entiendes lo que lees?
Acts 8:31 And he said, How can I, except some one shall guide me? And he besought Philip to come up and sit with him.	Hechos 8:31 Y dijo: ¿Y cómo podré, si alguno no me enseñare? Y rogó á Felipe que subiese, y se sentase con él.
Acts 8:32 Now the passage of the Scripture which he was reading was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; And as a lamb before his shearer is dumb, So he openeth not his mouth:	Hechos 8:32 Y el lugar de la Escritura que leía, era éste: Como oveja á la muerte fué llevado; Y como cordero mudo delante del que le trasquila, Así no abrió su boca:
Acts 8:33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: His generation who shall declare? For his life is taken from the earth.	Hechos 8:33 En su humillación su juicio fué quitado: Mas su generación, ¿quién la contará? Porque es quitada de la tierra su vida.
Acts 8:34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other?	Hechos 8:34 Y respondiendo el eunuco á Felipe, dijo: Ruégote ¿de quién el profeta dice esto? ¿de sí, ó de otro alguno?
Acts 8:35 And Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture, preached unto him Jesus.	Hechos 8:35 Entonces Felipe, abriendo su boca, y comenzando desde esta escritura, le anunció el evangelio de Jesús.
Acts 8:36 And as they went on the way, they came unto a certain water; and the eunuch saith, Behold, [here is] water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?	Hechos 8:36 Y yendo por el camino, llegaron á cierta agua; y dijo el eunuco: He aquí agua; ¿qué impide que yo sea bautizado?
Acts 8:37 [And Philip said, If thou believest with all thy heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.]	Hechos 8:37 Y Felipe dijo: Si crees de todo corazón, bien puedes. Y respondiendo, dijo: Creo que Jesucristo es el Hijo de Dios.
Acts 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they both went down into the water, both Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him.	Hechos 8:38 Y mandó parar el carro: y descendieron ambos al agua, Felipe y el eunuco; y bautizóle.
Acts 8:39 And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip; and the eunuch saw him no more, for he went on his way rejoicing.	Hechos 8:39 Y como subieron del agua, el Espíritu del Señor arrebató á Felipe; y no le vió más el eunuco, y se fué por su camino gozoso.
Acts 8:40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached the gospel to all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.	Hechos 8:40 Felipe empero se halló en Azoto: y pasando, anunciaba el evangelio en todas las ciudades, hasta que llegó á Cesarea.
